Vermillion (Shadowwalker)

Wraith and the girl would be found in the vehicle bay of the building a number of shriveled dead guards littered the ground some with blast burns on their armor and some fresher killed ones looking as if they were cut in to cleanly weapons and armor broken by said cuts littered the floor. Wraith was messing with the engine of one of the vehicles a four-seat Van with no markings the girl was buckled in the back seat casually swinging her legs back and forth humming a children's nursery rhyme.

"Alright that should do it kiddo just a few more moments and we will be free for once." Wraith said slightly anxious. as he shut the hood of the van.

as Suzaku would find their location Wraith would look over to him. "unfortunately i couldn't find any more people to save a good number of them seemed to be silently killed before you managed to break out...anyway looking for a ride out, we have room for one more."

a loud screech could be heard coming down the hall followed by loud thumping as the vehicle bay wall farthest from them burst open as a massive eldritch horror. Jagged and bladed spindly legs attached to a body that seemed to always change shape whatever way you look at it. bending reality around it as it scuttles no matter how you look at it or how far away it warps the environment into euclidian geometry always making something look closer and also father nothing ever making sense one thing is clear is that something like this wasn't meant for mortal eyes.

two orbs of red energy flow into Wraith's hands as he stairs the beast down "nothings ever way is it?"

everyone would hear a flurry of screams whispers and voices all sounding like they are all around them yet far away at the same time.

"Ignem parum mihi obest tuas. et verum mentis aperta sunt, tantum in corde, ut producat illud!"

Suzaku nodded to Wraith as he offered him a position in the vehicle. If he had to escape by himself on his own two feet, he wouldn't be able to restore his chakra. His remarks about the other people who had been killed brought his previous opponent to mind. A likely culprit. He didn't care about them... at least for the moment. He wanted to find his sister.

He then turned as a horror broke through the wall. Even with his eyes, the abomination was hard to take in. His mind was just having difficulty fathoming its shape. Well, that was fine. He drew his sword and stood to Wraith's side. "You are taking up arms. So I assume this beast can be killed. How? What are its weak points?"

He weaved chakra. His first thought was to bathe the creature in incinerating flame... but he opted for his lightning nature for now. "You know more about them. I'll follow your lead." Anyone from his village would be thrilled to hear he was following them. That's why they were all idiots.

Wraith looked twords the creature for a moment it hesitant to attack them would be clear to both. "Listen those creatures created me as suck I'm a extension of them ill hit them with my attacks when one lands ill feel it ill let you know where to hit and all you need to do is hit them with whatever you got lightning is your best option as it destabilizes their body not allowing them to heal."

The creature let out another shreik cracking the glass of the vehicle as wraith tossed the energy balls at the creature as both balls split into a total of 40 energy shots peppering the walls and floor wraith stumbled back. clear pain on his face. "directly front of us 6 feet from the ground 4-6 feet wide, go now."

when the creature would be wounded by Suzaku's attack it would take a swipe at him with its bladed hand however before it can connect wraith would get in the way letting it impail him before retracting it. the girl in the car cried out in worry as wraith coughed up some black goop as red energy began healing the injury entirely. "Im fine but you cant trust your eyes trust in your other senses, sound touch and smell otherwise it will abuse the fact that we cant perceive it with our eyes." the creature backed up clearly in pain from impaling wraith as well.

Suzaku listened carefully to Wraith while carefully observing their foe. Wraith informed him that the creature they were fighting had created him and that by hitting the creature with one of his own attacks, he would be able to let him know where to aim an attack. They would apparently have to work together. Wraith also said that lightning was the best option to use against the creature. It would reportedly stop the creature from mending itself. Suzaku gave him a nod and allowed Wraith to take the lead. Wraith assaulted the creature with a volley of projectiles. When he informed him of its location and not to trust his eyes, Suzaku closed them and ran at the creature, using his hearing alone to help locate it. He feinted, leaping high into the air and over the creature to swing and inflict a major wound on it during his trip over, his powerful lightning coursing through the blade.

He opened his eyes as he landed, and then would keep moving, trying to prevent the creature from having any opening as he kept his Raikiri active. He would try for another attack if he had the opportunity, but was working with Wraith to keep the creature guessing as to which of them it should try to destroy.
