«««SKILL SET»»»
Main Power Origins: Super/Natural
Powers
- Dragon Reactor Core: An organ that would normally be found only on living dragons from ages past, The Green Knight has it in place of a heart. It is a powerful source of magical energy, possessing of a tremendous capacity that generates mana simply through the act of breathing, independent of thought. As his body is naturally supercharged with this magical energy, an all-encompassing enhancement of Cognitive and Physiological functions is passively achieved. Dragons cannot die of old age, but they can be killed.
- Magic Burst: The ability to manipulate the massive amounts of magical energy generated by the Reactor Core. The Green Knight most commonly makes use of it by infusing and accumulating it into his body and weaponry. By instantaneously releasing the mana in sudden, jet-like bursts of energy, extreme levels of force or speed can be momentarily achieved; the raw force behind blows can reach the potency of 20 tons, and speeds of 75mph can be instantaneously achieved over 50 meters- with the armor on. Bursts of up to 100mph can be achieved if armor is discarded. However, raw magic energy can be manipulated to achieve a number of effects, such as constantly expelling enough in a vectorial direction to achieve flight, or repelling the water under one's feet in order to walk across its surface without disturbing it.
- Magic Constructs: The ability to create constructs of magical energy. Allowed mostly by the massive levels he can generate, and limited by his understanding of the item in question. Constructs that require several small, moving parts to function (such as a gun) are not possible to create. The more familiar he is with the item he is trying to construct, the more durable and life-like it is. However, most constructs are not capable of taking more than 1 or 2 solid blows (or about a gunshot's force), before shattering. The only exception to this is his armor, which has been constructed with more meticulous methods; it could be said to be a more advanced form of spell born out of this ability. It feeds off magic in order to maintain its integrity whenever damaged. By utilizing his sword as a catalyst, Knight arms (only those conceptually held as weapons) possessing similar properties to it can be layered about his sword, granting him a range of knight weapons in battle.
- Magic Resistance: Possessing of massive quantities of magical energy and accumulated mystery as a living Dragon, The Green Knight is highly resistant to magic, requiring high level spells in order to even notice their effects. However, Ancient Spells intended for Dragonslaying largely ignore his natural magic resistance.
- Draconic Senses: The supernatural instincts of a dragon have been passed down to the Green Night. A dragon's senses heavily differ from those of a regular human. Their eyes can see ahead for miles, and hear a pin dropping kilometres away. They can even detect such subtle and alien aromas as to hunt one down like bloodhounds. It allows them to mitigate the penalties inflicted by visual and auditory interference in combat. Their sense of taste however, is rather dulled, compared to humans, making them generally care very little for what they consume, and their touch lacks in sensitivity.
- Draconic Regeneration: The large amounts of magic generated by the Reactor Core are all the body truly requires to repair itself- Their bodies are always slowly repairing themselves from damage, so long as there is magic. Surface level wounds can heal within 1 round. Serious injuries/Fractures can heal within 3 rounds of combat provided one manages to keep them from suffering further damage for that duration, unlikely as that might be. Crippling and life threatening injuries would take 5 rounds to be lowered to 'serious' injuries; if one can be trusted to fight alone for that long in such a state. Outside of combat, it is possible to swiftly heal oneself from injuries through meditative-like, deep, slow breathing. In the misdt of combat, it is possible for a dragon to heal within less rounds by diverting its mana away from combat and into healing- Naturally, allies would be required to cover for one to engage in such a thing. The amount of rounds require to heal goes down by one for each round focused on healing.

Physical Weaknesses
- Dragonslaying: Ancient Weapons, magics and techniques, which have overtime accumulated mystery as 'Dragon killers', have a conceptual strength over the Green Knight. They cause more damage, or in the case of magics, ignore his natural magic resistance in order to bring about whatever effect was intended.
- Draconic Hibernation: Dragons do not regularly sleep- but when they finally do, they do so for years, generally decades, sometimes even a century. Even aside from their eventual, obligatory hibernation period, if knocked outcold it's a toss up whether the Dragon will wake up in the next few minutes or the next few weeks. Generally, the longer the dragon has remained awake since his last hibernation, the longer it will take for them to wake up from being knocked out.
- Breathing: The Dragon's heart generates large amounts of mana with each breath taken- but its mana production speed can be slowed down to regular human levels if the Dragon is kept from breathing for a prolonged period of time.
- Anti-Magic: For one who fights by wielding massive amounts of magical energy, Anti-magic is a natural stand-in for Kryptonite. Having lived for as long as he has and fought a large number of enemies, The Green Knight acquainted with Anti-Magic and Nth Metal. Weapons made Nth Metal are capable of easily destroying mana constructs, such as the Green Knight's armor. Anti-Magic fields can be quite a pickle as well, rapidly draining all mana within them- though the Green Knight possesses large reserves, so he's not unwilling to charge into one if he believes he can deal with whatever's inside quickly enough.
Mental Weaknesses
- Knight's Chivalry: The code of conduct expected of knights can be forcefully invoked in order to deter the Green Knight, were it may apply. One should be careful when doing so however- lest they invoke a fictional rather than a proper code of knightly conduct, and infuriate him.
- Unburdened: So as to not allow himself to be distracted from his mission, he generally remains emotionally distant from Man upon awakening. As such, forming connections with others is difficult, and unfortunate misunderstandings can easily occur.
EquipmentCaledfwlch, The Undying Sword of the Lake: The sword of King Arthur, most famously known across the world as 'Excalibur'; in myth, it was passed down to his nephew, Sir Gawain. It is a sword that amplifies not the strength of the wielder as the myth claimed, but rather, their magic output. Serving as a magic Catalyst that amplifies whatever magical energy is fed into the sword and turns it into turbulent force, it is a weapon ideal both for King Arthur, and his successor, Sir Gawain. It is recorded as being conceptually 'unbreakable' in myth. It famously split the hilltops of three hills in one swing through a blade of light.
«««CEREBRAL PROFILE»»»
PersonalityA taciturn individual with a tendency to seemingly wander aimlessly. As a guardian of human order that rises from a deep slumber when called upon, and then immediately returns to his rest once his mission is complete, The Green Knight does not often attempt to form connections with the currently living humans, be they normal men and women or the exceptional individuals that would be called heroes by the masses.
His understanding from living through the cycle for many centuries is that such connections simply hinder his mission, and cause undue pain to those he meets when he must inevitably disappear from their lives.
Despite this, he remains polite when he meets and must work with others, if emotionally closed off. He does not actively evade human interaction, but prefers to remain off focus if possible.
He possesses an interest in Architecture that goes back several centuries. Due to this being the first time in human history (that he has witnessed) since human constructions have achieved such massive scale, he often finds himself climbing to the top of massive skyscrapers and looking down upon the cities below.
Due to his sense of taste being rather dull compared to an average human, he does not really care about what he eats, so long as there's large quantities of it. However, he likes tea- not due to its taste, but its aroma.
He finds talkative people to be easier to deal with than people equally or more taciturn than him. He hates awkward silences, which tend to be inevitable between silent individuals with unclear relationships.
«««PERSONAL BACKGROUND»»»
Family Members: King Arthur Pendragon, King Lot of Lothian, Morgause Pendragon, Agravain of Lothian, Gaheris of Lothian, Gareth of Lothian, Mordred of Lothian, Morgan le Fay
Place of Origin: Wales
HistoryThe legend of King Arthur and his knights of the Round Table is well known, if poorly recorded. Regardless, the broad strokes tend to be mostly accurate, and they very much apply to the Green Knight before you. However- he is not the Green Knight of legend. He is, however, the man who accepted the Green Knight's challenge; Sir Gawain.
The Original Green Knight did not seek out King Arthur and his knights simply because Morgan le Fay willed it so; he was not a man made monster by the Witch as many stories claim. Rather- he was an ancient guardian of human order, seeking one that might take his place.
For his failure to live up to his title as the Greatest Knight when confronted by The Green Knight, Gawain accepted the curse of the Faeries that had been placed upon the ancient guardian, and became destined to inherit the title of The Green Knight himself- with this, Bertilak and his loved ones would finally be able to pass on.
When Sir Gawain finally died at the hills of Camlann, his body was taken away to the isle of maidens, Avalon. It was there that it was healed and rejuvenated, before, through the combined efforts of the Queen of Faeries and the imprisoned Merlin, its heart was replaced with that which the original Guardian carried: The First Dragon's heart. With new life breathed into him through the primeval mana of Avalon, the new Green Knight rose, allowing his predecessor to finally rest in peace.
For the next several centuries, the Green Knight followed a sleep pattern similar to the average Ancient Dragons, resting in a hibernation that lasted several years. His sleep would go on for decades until interrupted by the rising of threats that were either large enough, or numerous enough, for the collective unconsciousness of mankind to take notice and action against.
His last mission as a guardian occurred towards the end of the 19th century. With the rising of superheroes in the 20th century, and the arrival of Superman and several other benevolent aliens, the Guardian of human order became less and less needed, and his sleep slowly prolonged from years, to decades, to a century.
But then...

How long had it been...?
"
Hngh..." Came the first sign of life in over a century. For over a hundred years, the guardian had remained still as the dead within his casket in the Isle of Maidens.
"
Geh... Terrible..." Grunted the youthful
looking man as his hand slowly rose, movement jerky and stiff, and pressed against the slab of stone covering his casket. He breathed in deeply.
And then he extended his arm sharply.
The slab of stone was sent flying off the casket, landing upon the floors with a thundering crack mere seconds later. Almost immediately after, the man inside could hear the sounds of sudden activity outside of his chambers. He didn't remember there being this much excitement the last time he had woken up.
He would only understand much later how monumental this all was for those outside, who actually knew how much time had passed, and understood the state of the world.
After over 100 years, The Green Knight was finally awake.
"
... Ugh... I should rid myself of this bloody terrible casket before the Queen gets here." He finally grumbled to himself while reaching for his neck, rubbing it stiffly.
