An unexpected and prolonged visit [Izzy]

"If Kaela thinks that's best... though Mo wouldn't want to forget her people. Even if they've made mistakes, Mo would try not to make the same mistakes and focus on the present," Mo suggested alittle timidly, she wasn't really used to suggesting things people should do- at least not about this kinda stuff. "But this just means that Mo needs to get this ship up and running again, and Kaela won't have to hide while around Mo~" Mo switched back to her usual bubbly optimism, she was just referring to the here and now but it was implied that if Kaela wanted, she could come with her after she was done with repairs.

Kaela held up her hands. "I'm not saying I won't ever change back I just...don't...want to." She said quietly. "I never knew my parents but...a lot of things make a lot more sense. With context, I mean." She sighed and shrugged her shoulders, nodding at Mo's mention of the ship. "Right. Let's just focus on fixing your ship. And whatever happens after that, we'll deal with. But...I think I'll stay like this for now. If that's alright."

"Well, like Mo mentioned earlier, some of things she'll need to get the engines and the warp core fixed would be the most difficult in her current situation. It'd take time to remake the parts Mo needs, and she wants to save the warp core for last before anything else... though that might be a more pressing concern but it should be fine so long as nothing else tampers with it," Mo replied thoughtfully, conceding to Kaela wanting to remain looking like a hooman. Whatever made her feel more comfortable, Mo was fine with it either way. "Maybe Mo could get us something to watch while we work on some of things Mo doesn't need special parts for!" Mo said, clearly focusing more on having Kaela around than... actually fixing her ship.

Kaela nodded and smiled a little, before suddenly gasping and springing back to life. "Like a sleepover?!" Well that seemed to really get her somehow. "I can go get us some movies! And popcorn! And we can play videogames!" She squealed and regrew her gills, before phasing down and through the floor of the ship, floating herself up toward the surface of the bay. I'll be right back Mo! Trust me, Earth food is so yummy and the movies are so fun. It'll be fun! Trust me!

The excited jabbering continued in Mo's head, and she got flashes of images of various actors and characters on television shows that Kaela must have previously experienced. Hopefully, this would make her feel a bit better.
