First Impressions (Kardus)

Well it seemed like they had made a mess, but she didn't see many injured people so far. It also looked like medical personnel were on scene, so Rose assumed they had this handled. Supposedly this kind of thing wasn't that uncommon. Why? What drove people to do this? Well at least there were good people trying to stop them like....um...huh, she didn't know what this woman called herself. It usually didn't matter, though.

Rose turned her head at the hero's request, taking a look at Rico's GPS at the next stop. She went ahead and typed in the address, and it was about a 10 minute walk. She also took her notepad out again, giving Rico a piece of paper that she wrote her name on.

"People call me Rose."

You know, at this point she could start giving her real name instead of the one people assigned to her, but she decided to let the nickname stick. No harm in that, right?

She started in the direction of the address Rose wanted to go to, smiling down to her as she showed her a note with her name on it. "It's nice to meet you, Rose. People call me Karma, but you can call me Rico." She continued walking Rose home, making sure that Control Freak hadn't left anything nasty behind for either her or Rose to deal with.

Provided they didn't meet any complications along the way, Rico would walk her to her destination and then turn to her, smiling. "Well, we're here Rose. Do you need anything else?" After a moment, she blinked, and said, "Oh! And here's my number. If you see Control Freak or need to update me on something, you can text me here!" If Rose would let her use her notepad and pen, she would write it down for her. But if not, she would show her the number on her own phone. She wasn't really worried about Control Freak getting out through her phone all too much. Once he was in his world, he tended to do his own thing. And he only really wanted to mess with the Titans, besides.

Rose smiled at the friendliness that Rico seemed to have, then laughed a little bit at the unintentional joke that she made. Silly Rico; Rose couldn't call you that. She couldn't call you anything. She can't even speak! Silliness aside, it was very nice to have an escort home after something like that. It was a very nice walk too, with the weather and temperature cooperating with them.

Soon she was home; her eyes turned to listen as Rico offered her number. It seemed a little odd why someone she just met was taking such good care to make sure she stayed safe, but it wasn't the first time that had happened. Did Rose give off some kind of aura that she didn't know about that just made people want to help her? She was starting to find that a likely explanation for how easy her immigration to Jump had been.

Feeling the danger was passed, Rose turned her phone back on and put Rico down in her contacts. A smile came to her face as she immediately sent Rico a text, finding it just as easy and more convenient than writing with paper and pen. Hitting send, she immediately looked up and thanked Rico with a kiss on the cheek before she turned to unlock the door. The text then soon reached it's target.

"Thank you for protecting me and walking me home. My doors are open to you should you ever want to come by."

Rose took a moment to pause when the door was open, waiting to see if Rico had any last things she want to say; or if she would ask to stay for a while.

Rico blinked and smiled, pleasantly surprised by the kiss Rose gave her on the cheek. She was so adorable! Rico would look to the text message that Rose had sent her when she gave her the number, and read it. She smiled up to Rose as she stayed for a moment. "Thank you so much! If I ever get the time, we could hang out some more! For now though, I really should reach out to someone about Control Freak. But it was nice meeting you!" She gave a wave with her de4monic arm before heading back to her home.

She was going to need to get into contact with Robin or some of the other Titans about this before Control Freak could get into some serious trouble.
