Not it! [Titan Test] (Bloo/Ask)

Patrols were something that took some getting used to. Kaden liked working out, so he just treated it like a nightly run with some amateur parkour involved. After using an explosion to get on top of a tall building, he heard the sound of someone screaming for him to stop making so much noise and glanced behind him just in time to see a hooded figure stepping out of a shadow.

Instinct kicked in and he shut his eyes, creating a bright flash from his palm that'd probably give the girl an annoying spotted vision for a little bit. When his eyes opened the second after, they visibly widened as he recognized the infamous Raven.

"****! W-what are you doing sneaking up on someone like that, dummy?!"
A rare tint to his cheeks as he realized his mistake of blinding an honest hero. No Superman, but the edgy teen was certainly an impressive hero in her own right.

"And don't call me that! I wish nobody ever hear that stupid nickname! My hero name is... Lord Explosion Murder!!"

Kaden's expression was easily readable when she told him why she was there. Cocky arrogance, smug, and proud. He knew that it wouldn't be long until a hero team tried to recruit him. It wasn't the Justice League, but if what he heard was right it was a good stepping stone towards that end goal. Shortly after her speech, another scream was heard; this one not calling to Kaden to quit making loud explosions, but someone calling for help. When Raven told him to go do some heroing, he grinned wide.

"You don't have to tell me twice, Rav. I've been waiting for moments like these every day of my life."

Arrogant, again, but he failed to hesitate as he threw himself from the building. The sound of explosions following quickly after, if she looked she'd see him scaling the wall with impressive speed, propelling himself with explosions then a few to break his fall. He landed at the end of an alleyway as a civilian was sprinting at him looking terrified. His grin didn't falter as a glob of slime appeared behind the civilian.

"Slime monster? Heh. Get behind me, dummy! Then get far away! Save your damn self, I'll take this villain on!"

The running man looked offended but didn't object to the plan as Kaden threw himself forward at the giant slime monster... it wasn't obvious from a distance, but the thing was at least 10 feet tall! ****. He launched a few explosions at the beast, but it only served to push it back into the street. The pieces of slime all inched back towards each other to rebuild the beast.

"No effect, huh? I guess that means I'll have to be creative."

Seemingly without a plan, Kaden kicked a recycling bin at the monster, sending bottles and cans all over... but having no effect at all. Eyes and a mouth formed at head level with the beast and it grinned wickedly. "Heh heh heh! I was going to take that weaklings body, but you seem to have a better one! I think I'll take you instead!"

Kaden scuffed as the beast launched itself at him. Kaden launched some explosions at it, which only served to break the bastard up a bit and cover Kaden in slime. Uh oh. The slime started to reform, but this time it was on Kaden. The kid looked arounnd, noticing the apartment buildings around him and growled. This was a shitty spot to fight! Damn it! He kicked a bottle into the middle of the street and startedd walking over to it. "Get off me, you bas-"

The slime covered Kaden's mouth and the boy struggled to breathe. He glared at Raven, trying to let her know that if she tried to help him he'd kill her. By the time he got to the road, away from the buildings, his face was blue. He raised both hands, just about the only part of him that wasn't covered in slime. A few small explosions happened, followed by two full power blasts up in the air. The shockwave sent all the slime flying away from Kaden quickly.

"DIE!"

He screamed between huge gasps for air. Then he swiped the bottle up quickly and charged high speed towards where the slime was regrouping. He dived on it, shoving the slime in the bottle and cappinng it before rolling on his back to catch his breath. The eyes appeared inside the bottle and the monster was trapped inside.

"Heh. You thought I didn't see you had a core? Idiot!"

After a moment of laying to catch his breath, Kaden used an explosion to kip himself up. He was happy to see that none of the surrounding buildings were damaged by his blast as he put the bottle with a villain in his pocket. Usually he let the police handle the villains after he caught them, but this one was particularly wily. As Raven went on to evaluate his performance, he started to get a little annoyed thinking this was going to end in a rejection. Why other heroes could never see his results that were plain as day, he'd never know, but he misjudged Raven. She saw his potential.

"We can go now. No use wasting time."

He explained quickly, putting his hands behind his head.

Kaden wasn't keeping up with what the old Titans were up to after they were called up, but when Raven brought him back to the Tower he certainly wasn't expecting to see Robin and Starfire. Didn't they have something better to be doing? He shook the thought and grabbed Robin's hand in a firm shake.

"Solgaleo? That's another guy with potential, I figure? Where is he?"

Where was anyone? Was he the only one recruited so far? Tch, that'd make sense that they'd go for the one with the highest potential first. He stopped thinking too much about it and rolled his shoulders a bit to loosen up.

"I'm ready whenever you guys are. I think I've got a good idea of what's going on here, anyway. You're trying to set up the next team, and then get on your merry way back to where the real action is, I'm sure."
