The dragon soars (Open)

As Sage was flying over the woman, he would peer down and see she had realized his fake jab was indeed just a mock attempt and was turning to meet him with a blow form that baton of hers. As he landed the boy would lean, duck and roll all in one movement to avoid the attacks. The rolls was backwards, as he wanted to be out of her reach. She was quick he gives her that, one of the baton thrusts were very close and the other would graze the tips of his hair. If he hadn't seen it coming, that transaction would've been a different story. Not to mention, as the metallic weapon slammed into the ground after missing Sage; the flooring would crumble form the blow.

"Is your dad the one who told you to kill all those people and attack the cops, or that just a personal hobby of yours?"

JaK needed to armor up soon, if this chick could do that to concrete he didn't want her getting near his bones. Yet, at the same time she had the thing he was looking to absorb in her hands. Now the only question was how to touch one of them without having his skull cracked open. As Sage thought this, he got back to his feet and took a disarming stance that he had been taught.

As she lunged at Sage, her words would pierce into him like that of a dagger. Tried to kill her father, eh? Reminds him of himself kind of..His parents were taken from him and like this chick, killing a hundred, no a thousand would not matter if he could just have them back. Although, killing people and attacking innocent men doing their jobs wasn't the way to go. It was for this reason that he wouldn't allow her to leave today. Not without a fight afterall and close qaurters combat was JaK's favorite type!

"Look, if you want revenge on those who tried to kill your family. Let me help you, maybe the Titans can aid you in finding these guys, but killing me and others isn't going to help your caus---OuFF!!"

JaK would speak his piece as he went to avoid the first strike by blocking her at the wrist, but this proved to be a fake. He would then quickly raise his guard on the other side for the second baton, but that swing also proved to be false. Then it hit him like a ton of bricks in the side of his ribs, a very hard kick that had definitely cracked a rib...Great. Sage might have been able to avoid it of course, but instead after the initial impact he brought his elbow down and wrapped his arm around the leg. Holding onto it so she couldn't pull back and then lunged out grabbing onto her baton with his free hand. As he winced in pain from the blow, which was followed by a popping noise. His entire body would encase itself in the same material her weapons were made out of. This proved to be a sufficient benefit, although he now found it hard to breathe as he armored up. Probably a side effect of the hit he just took. She had enhanced strength...Nothing apocalyptian, but it felt like a gorilla had jabbed him just now. This was all irrelevant, however, he was in a fight and adrenaline alone was enough to keep him going. With his now enhanced strength, Sage would fling the girl up into the air by the limb he had entrapped. He wasn't trying to hurt her so much now, more trying to understand what had happened. Maybe she didn't kill those men after all, she did mention an assassination attempt right?

Well now JaK had a decision to make, he was about to answer the girls question; when all of a sudden a bunch of men would roll up and one would throw a black bag at her feet. As she opened it Sage's nostrils would flare as the smell of burnt and dead flesh filled the air. After which time, this chick went haywire and began to beat down on the thugs left and right. JaK would've tried to stop her if they weren't firing at him to, luckily the bullets just bounced off his armor. Whatever her batons were made of, he was glad to be wearing it.

"I dunno what the story is, but I can see you're not the villain here. Your methods are just a little bit screwed up. Let me show you how to handle these guys the right way."

As they shot at him, Sage would charge at the crowd of men unloading their weapons upon him. As he ran through them the bullets would dent his armor a bit as he got into close proximity. So much so, that he was feeling the pain of the pitter patter of the firearms, but just took it in stride as he decked the nearest guy in the face. Then as one pointed a shot gun at him, he would fling the same guy he had just hit into him; spinning around swiftly afterwards and landing a round hosue kick to two others. Following up by smacking the pistol out of the hand of the next guy, who attempt to fire at him at point blank range. Then toe kicking him in the gut and causing the man to topple over. Sage disliking murder his entire life, reduced the power of his hits and instead went to maim more than seriously injure. While in the middle of battle, he would see the powerful girl go down and a man in a cheap looking business suit approach her with his hands behind his back and a smug demeanor on his face. At this point, it wasn't a question of if Sage should help her. It was the issue of getting there fast enough; which he did, as he elusively ran through the few men left. Doing free running acrobatics and rolls to get over and around them; reaching both of Vanessa and Mr. Robertson just as he had produced a flame from his palm.

"Ya I got some, LOOK OUT BELOW!"

The man would then peer over his shoulder to see JaK falling towards him with malice intent written all over his face. He was planning to curb stomp the man into the cement and hopefully put a nice pair of metallic footprints into his back as a nice parting gift from Sage when he was in prison.

As Sage continued to fall towards the man, he would see him turn around and unleash what appeared to be energy discs. (Like Krillin from DBZ I'm guesssing?) They were coming straight for him and JaK was in mid air; that was definitely not good. As they neared he would twist and contort his body and barely miss two of them. Both the disc would zip right past him, one barely missing his fingers, while the other flew dangerously close to his abdomen. Sadly, the third would graze his forearm and as he predicted ripped through the material that he had absorbed from Vanessa's weapon; causing a bit of blood to trickle down his arm from the cut. To make matters worse, he would land a few feet away from the man in question; due to the arial acrobatics he had to do to avoid being sawed in half.

"What the heck are you?"

First this guy was making flames and energy discs; now he's talking about ruling the underworld? Something was up and Sage intended to beat the info. out of him...If he could reach him that is. For at the moment, the discs would come back around at JaK, kind of like boomerangs. To avoid the first, he runs and does a hand stand to front flip over it. Avoiding the disc just as it was about to cut off his arms in the hand stand postion. However, as he landed he would try to lean back to avoid the second and is once again nicked! This time on the cheek, causing a small paper cut thin line to show on his face. It was at this point he realized that he needed to save Vanessa more than stop this man, he was in pain still considerably from his cracked rib and was getting more sluggish by the minute. So on his communicator, he sent out a signal, but not for back up. Instead he called for his hover bike, which should still be in the area and as it made it's way back towards him; he would make an attempt to reach Mr. Robertson one more time. Only just a few mere feet away from him. Although, as he was about to near the man and cock him in the face, out of the corner of his eye the thrid dsic could be seen about to soar in between them. JaK instead tumbling backwards instinctively, just like what he did earlier to Vanessa in their tussle, right as it struck the ground where he was running to and ended up near the Vanessa herself instead. He was really panting as he kneeled next to her and looked at the man. His discs were coming back for round three, but luckily Vanessa and Sage's ride had arrived. He would grab her by the waist and leap onto the speed cycle just at it was driving past them. Throwing Mr. Robertson a dirty glare, before driving off. Wanting to hightail it out of there, before the discs sliced his bike up. As he drove away, his destination was the medical bay at Titans Tower. This girl needed life support and in a hurry, he could only hope Psychosis would be home.
