(SW/Divvie) The Danger Is Within {Arc}

I smile as I get shower. I just decided on the perfect place to take Ren. I hurriedly finish and wrap up in a towel, throwing my hair in one as well. I then grab my phone, unlocking it and sending him a text: "Hey Ren, It's Ivy. You wanna hang out? I have a perfect place fore a second date. Meet me at my place in an hour. it's a surprise!" I then set the phone on my bed and await a reply as I do my hair, towel perfectly positioned around me to stay by itself.

Ren was busy cleaning his rifle when he recived a text from Ivory making his phone play caramel dancing
checking it he smiles "ok ill be right there ive got a surprise for you as well " ren cleans himself off and gets dressed in black cargo pants boots and a short sleved navy blue button up

I finish my hair, having blow dried, straightened, and pulled it into an intricate braid. I check my phone and smile down at it. "Can't wait!" I send back before walking into my closet and finding a cute outfit. I then do my makeup and grab a black purse, sitting on the couch to wait for Ren.

ren arrives at Ivory's place before ringing the doorbell if she answers the door shell see ren with a small box in his hands that seemed to be mewing every few moments

I smile and jump up when I hear the doorbell, throwing the door open. "Hey R-" I stop talking to stare at the box. It mews and I look back to him, narrowing my eyes. "What did you do?" I step aside to allow him to come inside.

I simply stare at the kitten for a moment, then take to looking between it and Ren. I take the kitten from him and cuddle it gently. "I love it." I say simply. "Is it a girl or boy? What's it's name?" I ask , holding the kitten to my chest and biting my lip in excitement. The little thing attempts to bat at my ear but is much to short. I hadn't even noticed my ears and tail had come out. From excitement I guess.

Ren simply chuckles "thats up to you on what you want her name to be "the kitten nuzzles itself against ivory's chest and begins to purr making ren smile and then he notices her tail and ears come out "huh guess you really enjoy your present"

I simply nod and hold the tiny ball of white fur close. "Her name is Floofy." I say before leveling my gaze on Ren as if daring him to oppose me. "Yes I love my present, but this also happens sometimes around cats. Not completely sure why." I hand her back to Ren before going to the garage and retrieving a box. I then grab a bunch of blankets from my room and put them in the large box before finding some heating pads and laying them under the blankets. Finally I get a shallow bowl of water and set it in there as well before taking the kitten back and setting her in the box. "There. That will work for until we get back." The kitten mews in protest but I blow it a kiss and pick up my purse.

Ren put to and two together from the tail and ears to the kitten "i guess it has something to due with natural maternal instincts" once the kitten is given some place to stay ren looks at Ivory "so were to today hun"

I shrug. That would make sense after all. I automatically felt the urge to protect the tiny thing. I smirk when he asks where we're going, blushing only slightly when he calls me hon. "I already told you. It's a surprise. Let's just say you're coming to my turf today." I pause a moment, remembering the drive-in movie. "But leave your temper at home. This is a place where I can and will take care of myself. I'm well known there and there will most likely be attempts to wolf whistle and stuff like that but I swear I can deal with it ok?" I give him a strict look with one raised eyebrow, hoping no fights will be started today. "They've seen me beat guys up single-handedly before and know not to mess with me in any other way than a little harmless teasing."

Ren sighs "ok if your sure " he says then removes his handgun from uder his shirt the one in his waist band both kifes in his boots and a tazer from his left cargo pocket

My eyes widen a tiny bit but I take the weapons from him and set them on the couch. "Thank you." I grin excitedly. "Ok. go wait out front. I'll get the car from the garage." I usher him out the door, locking it behind him before heading to the garage and opening it.

Ren dose as hes told and waits outside for Ivory to get the car he makes sure no ones around before he takes out a burn phone "echo four and echo 13 take care of my jobs while im away and your teams can have half the pay because i feel generous today " Ren hangs up the phone and continues to wait

I grin as I hop in my 2017 Ram 1500. I back it out slowly, loving how the sun reflects and litters on the auburn paint.

When I'm out of the car I smile at Ren and pat the leather passenger seat. Once he gets in I would smile and say "I hope you brought some batteries this time." I then set my purse in the console next to me and begin driving. Once we're out of the driveway I stick a CD in and music fills the car. "Now you know" By Icon for Hire comes on and I sing along, all the windows rolled down.
