Pranks, a wonderful game!(Open to Titans Tree members)

Toji chuckles evilly as he finishes putting in the wire for his last prank. Oh yes, my dear readers, the halfling had finally heard of practical pranks during his studies, and also of the Holiday known as April Fools, and of course, he wished to celebrate such a fun holiday with a vareity of epic pranks on his packmates. The only ones excepted were Kuro, since he didn't know him well enough, and Anna, who he felt was too young to prank in this matter. For Manic, Toji had instaled a vareity of slipperly objects and gaint sheets of flypapre everywhere. Kristen had gotten a bucket of chalk dust, Bow had gotten a frightful skeleton dropping from the ceiling, and Ruin had gotten a jumbo jack in the box. Ah, but Kishi...oh yes, he planned to humble the demon himself. The hallway outside Kishi's door was a vareitble minefeild, starting with a bucket of indescribable slime above the door. As the demon staggered around, blinded, he should trigger other traps. By the time he got free, the demon should be covered in slime, oil, featheres, bread chunks, and specially made 'skunk' oil. And at both ends was a machine that played Toji's laugh at its most annoying....muahahahahhahaha..... Toji snickered, tinkering one last time, then backed up, turning around and going to the cafeteria for breakfast.....

Kristen walked out of her room that morning, rubbing her eyes. She had slept particularly well that night, but she woke up with dry eyes. The onslaught of chalk dust from above didn't help her situation. That's when she remembered what day it was. April Fools Day... it was a holiday that wasn't celebrated too strongly back with her people, but it was something Kristen was aware of.

Kristen coughed slightly from the inhalation of the chalk. Who was the culprit? She ran options through her head. Kishi might have done it just to get on the half-angel's nerves, but she doubted the demon would even be bothered. Was it Manic? As far as Kristen knew, the speedster lived in a separate apartment in the city and was only present in the Tree for the purposes of coordinating with the team. He'd be fast enough to set something up impromptu, but he barely knew Kristen at all. The same could be said for Ruin, Bow, and the other new members.

Suddenly, it hit her. No, not another bucket of chalk dust. There was only one person who'd be interested in such a prank.

Kristen sighed, activating her forcefield to get rid of most of the chalk on her skin. Without any of her armour, the forcefield wouldn't extend to her clothing, so her pajamas would have to be washed. She stepped back into her room quickly to change out of the sullied sleepwear and into her uniform minus the armoured bits. Minutes later, she stepped into the cafeteria where she would find Toji eating.

"Happy April Fools Day to you too, Toji." she said, an amused smirk on her face as she went over to the kitchen area to fix up some food.

Toji, seeing Kristen, assumes va comically innocent look." April Fools? What's that?pyythhh..hrmph...hahahaha!!"The halfling falls off his chair, luaghunv."hahahaha...happy April Fools, sis!! I suppose I should chalk up your reaction ad a win, bwahahahahaha!!!Wheeeew....." Still laughing, Toji gets up, sitting back down to his breakfast, a fish omelette, grinning evilly." You should see what I have planned for Kishi, muhahaha....."

He had as of yet gone unnoticed by anyone in the cafeteria, which was fine by him. It was only a testament to his skills. He had emerged from his room early that morning to find pranks all set up by Toji. Deducing they were set by the little half-demon was very easy. And in the spirit of getting to know his new team- and new friends, he supposed- he had decided to partake in the holiday.

As Toji turned to his omelette, preparing to eat, Kuro held up a switch and pressed it, setting off a very weak explosive and splattering fish and eggs all over Toji's face. He would have put on his fake smile, but he had left his mask on, although he was without the rest of his costume.

"Happy April Fool's, Toji. Forgive me, I like setting off holidays with a bang."

He had a suitcase next to him, unlatched and ready to open.

Kristen couldn't help but grin a little bit when she came back to sit with Toji and Kuro, Toji's face now covered in fish-omelette bits. Sitting beside the pranked halfling, she bit into her toasted breakfast sandwich, happy to experience the camaraderie of a team again. It seemed that the other of the three new members and assassin, Kuro, had a sense of humour as well. It was difficult to tell whether or not he was smiling under that mask, though.

She swallowed her bite of food. Before she had sat down, she noticed out of the corner of her eye an unlatched suitcase beside where Kuro sat. It seemed he had another trick up his sleeve."It's good to see you're getting in on the fun as well. I think all of us will have to keep our guards up today, lest we get pranked again." Underneath the table, Kristen flicked her wrist, telekinetically clicking the briefcase closed and holding it closed as an impromptu attempt to prank Kuro.

Toji stares at the assassin, then suddenly busts bout laughing." Ahahahahah, what a excellent prank!!! You've opened yourself to retaliation, though, so be careful, muhahaha!!" He wipes his erstwhile breakfast off his face, signing." That was going to be a good breakfast...oh well, scramblers it is.." He gets up, popping a couple in the toaster." So, packmates, do you think the others have anything planned?"

Kuro watched them both at the table apart from him with a steady gaze. He didn't even turn to acknowledge the suitcase had clicked shut. Hearing it was fine enough for him. Although, knowing that Kristen was a telekinetic...this day was working out finer than he could ever have hoped. Kristen said it was great to see he was getting intyo the spirit of the holiday with them.

"You misunderstand. I only wished to balance the pranking out. If Toji were to go unchallenged, well...that wouldn't be any fun."

Toji had laughed at his attempt, complimenting his prank and saying that he would earn retaliation for it. To be honest, that's exactly what the suitcase was for. He figured Toji would have immediately retaliated, and that's what the creme pie inside was meant to react with.

"Hm. Of the others, I can't say. However..." He turned his head to the doorway. "I suspect the demon won't be happy with that frightening regimen you've prepared for him."
