Saint Anger (St. Jimmy)

Kristoff Makarov arrived at the observatory, getting out of the car, he shivered, it was another cold winter night in Jump City. Kris then scaled the side of the building, it was still in disrepair from when HIVE fought Ekmed here. Fitting he should get another assassination here when he's back in the game, Kris readied his sniper with silencer and watched the ground, sticking to the shadows, he waited, drinking a red bull to keep himself away, not much energy in the air to absorb, so he had to get energy some way. This was his least favorite part, the waiting game.

Kris saw the cars, it was show time, with grin he aimed for the gas tank in the cars, using incendiary ammo he was able to ignite the gasoline, casing the cars to explode, hopefully making the assassination look more like a freak accident, "Shoulda taken those cars to the shop, Saran...." Kris then scanned for survivors, whistling.

Kris saw the two run in and cursed, he pulled out his laser katana and attached it to his hip and he quickly set a C-4 charge before he walked into the main room, leaving the sniper rifle, just incase his act worked. He then quickly got into character, "Oh my God, someone help! Please! He's up there! People are dead out there, oh my God!" Kris looked visibly shaken, an act he used when he wanted people to go into a trap or not suspect him.

As Kris wandered into the Observatory's main room, he would one of the men waiting for him. However, he would look drastically different from the men that were in view of him outside. He had shock white hair, and blood red eyes. He grinned a little at Kristoff, and then raised his hand and parted his lips in a cheery, almost ridiculous manner.

"Nihao~!"

Kyte grinned, putting his hands into his pockets from the trench coat. "You don't know me, but I've been watching you for a while. I sprung the glorious trap you've now found yourself in."

That was when the Observatory's old security systems, after a large sparking of electricity, would suddenly kick in; thick, steel bulkheads slamming down from all exits, and metal shutters blocking up the view from the roof. For only an instant they were in pitch blackness, before the lights kicked on, illuminating the room brightly. In the brief moment the darkness pervaded the room, when the lights came back on, another man was next to Kyte. He was the man that Kristoff had been able to see, but he was in a black trench coat of his own, and was just putting a mask on. Kristoff wouldn't be able to see his face; only a sliver of it. Kuro was regarding him with an apathetic stare before he snapped the mask on.


"Anywho~. I'm Saran Tinge, but you really don't need to worry about me. The biggest problem right now is-"

And Kuro launched forward, a dagger bursting forward from his sleeve as he moved to stab for Kristoff's throat. However, this was a feint, as he would immediately stop and lurch to Kristoff's left, throwing a wire at him from his other sleeve, aimed to wrap around his neck.

Kristoff was caught off guard by this introduction, but immediately regained composure. When the lights went out and he took out his sword, ready to fight. Suddenly there was a new guy there, next to the man who introduced himself as Saran, and he attacked like a lightning bolt. Kris had to jump back to avoid the knife and use his sword to slice the wire before it wrapped around his neck. Kristoff looked at the mask man and uttered one question, "Why am I always ambushed in the observatory?" Kris would then charge at the masked man and attempt to slash his chest, at the same time he's pull out his gun and squeeze the trigger 3 times, hoping to do away with this assassin as fast as possible.

Kyte smiled, and started chuckling almost uncontrollably, backing away, and letting the two assassins fight it out. Kuro was at a disadvantage from the start, as he wasn't aiming to kill Kristoff, merely straining to capture him non-lethally.

Kuro sure as hell played the part of the otherwise case, though.

Laser swords? Kuro thought as he saw Kristoff cut through his wire. Normally he wouldn't have assumed that, on account of them being very hard to cut, but there was the fact that it was glowing and emitting heat. Promethium has a very high tolerance for heat, and regenerates.

Kuro came up with calculations quickly, considering his mind was operating at a speed five times faster than that of Kris's, and turned his dagger underhand, channeling Kris's laser sword down the gap and catching the blade with it, before twisting the dagger to the side to try and disarm Kris. Meanwhile, the crook of his arm would ward off any clear shots to his face, leaving only his chest open. All of the bullets in any case bounced off of his bulletproof cloak. Sure, he might have bruises tomorrow, but he didn't even flinch at the contact.

Opting for a dagger instead of a cable, he stabbed for Kris's stomach at the same time as he attempted to disarm him.

Kristoff watched the assassin move, it's like he was a step ahead of Kris, almost like he expected Kris' attacks. That was extremely unnerving for him. He watched Kuro's equipment, bullet proof cloak, weird daggers that could take hits from the laser katana without being sliced, hidden daggers, and finally the cable. Kristoff quickly let go of his sword and grabbed Kuro's wrist, moving the stab away from his stomach, grabbing at Kuro's neck, if he got a hold of it he would move his leg to trip Kuro and slam him into the ground. If not he would attempt to kick Kuro away and get some space so he could think of how to take him out in time to get his target.

Kuro was surprised, although he was really good at not showing it. How determined he was. Kristoff let go of his blade and grabbed for his throat. Kuro looked into his foe's eyes with fierce determination. "Got you," he said, glowing bright before fiercely electrocuting Kristoff, unless he somehow managed to recognize the glowing was a threat in time to let go.

Kristoff's trip maneuver would succeed, however, but as he went down with Kuro, Kuro would bring a knee swiftly up towards Kristoff's stomach to launch him off of him and into a wall as he rolled to his feet. If that maneuver worked, he would be closer to his sword, however.

Kuro took a brief respite, whirling his daggers with a bit of flair before they retracted into his sleeves, and Kuro stood straight, his arms at his side, looking at Kristoff with a slight tilt of the head. Almost like a serial killer from a horror flick.

Kris noticed that Kuro was using a shock attack and quickly thought, if he faked it now, maybe he could use this to gain the upper hand later. Kris screamed out in convincing agony. Unknowingly opening Kris up to one of the most painful hits of his life, he was slammed in the stomach then slammed into a wall. As Kris slid down, he noticed his sword and scrambled to pick it up. He then stood up, locked eyes with Kuro, and pointed the sword at him, turning it on.

Kuro twitched slightly, uneased. It's true; he was fighting at a disadvantage, trying to incapacitate instead of annihilate. But he knew the facts. How much shock it took to knock out instead of kill. He had administered the right amount. So how was Kristoff still standing? He was a metahuman, obviously, and something about that registered his shock ineffective, whether it be weakened or not. He didn't have time to experiment; he could very well kill Kris doing so.

Keeping this in mind as Kris once again pointed his sword at him, he walked forward, almost as if to impale himself on the blade. Whether Kris moved or not, in a lighting-fast movement Kuro would reach up and draw the HF-blades, swinging down in an "X" arc as they turned on, slightly humming. It took more precision to incapacitate with them, but he was always willing to demonstrate.

Kyte was uncomfortable with the prospect, as he wanted Kristoff alive. However, he would trust in Kuro's insticts for the moment.

Kris quickly sliced his sword up in an arc, knocking the daggers away from him. Kris would then attempt to kick Kuro's abdomen and spin into a slash at his torso to push Kuro away, knowing he'd dodge it. Kris then dropped a few smoke bombs to cover him as he searched for an exit. Kris was fighting for his life as far as he knew, and he had to beat the attacker away, he was certain he lost his target, so he had no business remaining here. All he could do was regroup and look for the target based on what he saw about him.

As Kuro swung down with his HF-blades, Kris surprisingly managed to bash his swords into another direction- a smart move- and kicked Kuro in the abdomen. He grunted in surprise, forced to back away as Kris swung in a slash for him. Kuro actually ran forward into the slice, but brought his blades down in an attempt to replicate what Kris had done; trying to redirect his blade into the floor.

Even if he was resilient to this attempt, however, Kuro had also jumped, whirling to try his best and kick Kris in the face with one of his boots while he was in the air. He had to end this soon before Kris figured out he wasn't trying to kill him.
