Still The Safest Way To Travel (Open to all) - Russian Attack!

(OOC: I wrote this assuming that the thread is finishing. Please inform me if I am wrong so I can edit)

Kane was surprised to see that his kick was blocked by the metal arm, it must have had hardcore augmented strength to have blocked his kick so easily, especially considering the speed Kane was moving at. He was thrown away, but by the time he had flown a few feet, he used his powers to suddenly stop, before flipping over the arrow that was fired at him and kicked off against the air to charge, the arrow went off far behind him, not blinding him like intended since he was not looking at the blinding light.

Arsenal was retreating, Kane was about to go on the attack, but he realized this was his chance, he dashed past the soldiers and Arsenal, who wasn't trying to stop him anyway and through the doors to the airport terminals. What he saw first made him gag, then roar in anger, he looked at the scene of massacre, men and women and children, indiscriminately killed!

Kane dashed out of the airport and looked to all the retreating Russian soldiers, Kane wasn't about to let them get away, he dashed to the nearest one and swept his leg out from under him, breaking those legs like twigs. He zoomed over to an area so that he was surrounded by retreating soldiers, they all aimed at him but before they could fire, he smashed his leg against the ground, breaking the concrete under his feet like it was nothing and sending cracks several yards away from him, the impact made all the Russians either fall over or stumble.

He used his chance and disappeared in a blur zooming to and from Russian soldiers and striking them down with kicks, he had done this at the beginning of the fight, but this time there was no mercy behind his strikes. These were not humans he was dealing with, they were monsters that deserved what was coming to them! A small part of him knew not to kill them, but that didn't stop their bones from being crushed as he stomped on their shoulders or kicked their backs.

Without Arsenal to help them like he had first time, they were all doomed, Kane had held back enough for there to be no casualties, but by the time the Russians got away there were enough broken bodies to think of a good metaphor that involves a large amount of people. Kane watched the Russians leaving, he wanted more, but he had tired himself out.

He growled in frustration and kicked a car into orbit, there were people dead because he had failed to save them, he'd been too busy playing around with that stupid archer! Granted, Kane was the only one there who seemed to care about saving the people, but that just meant he had to do better! Kane roared and it was almost savage, a nearby criminal who was taking advantage of the chaos to rob a local shop had seen Kane's anger. He ran to a policeman and begged him to arrest him before Kicker did. The police officer was confused at first, but then he saw the way Kane was glaring at the criminal and quickly slapped some wrist cuffs on him and hurriedly took him into the car, driving away.

The dog goddess grinned as her attack finally connected. The siblings had been very slippery the entire time and they didn't even give her their full attention. Now they would pay for it. She prepared to follow-up on the two plummeting from the sky when suddenly she heard gunshots from close by. It wasn't aimed at her this time and looking more closely at the brothers, it became obvious they were the ones hit. Someone was stealing her prey? The nerve of them. She shifted her focus to the ground as she dropped down, just in time to see a figure moving about and shooting.

While she was distracted, it seemed the siblings decided it was time for them to withdraw. With Raiko's attention divided, she missed the opportunity to halt their escape. As she touched down on the battered runway and looked overhead, the brothers were already far away on their cloud. She kicked a piece of rubble in disappointment. Normally, she would now be eagerly delivering punishment to the one who dared to go after her targets. But with her targets long gone, there was hardly any point to that. She would just have to play with them again some other time.

Her ears perked up as she looked around at the aftermath of the attack. Planes were destroyed everywhere and the very landscape itself was unrecognizable from what it was earlier that day. Surely such catastrophe could move even the coldest of hearts right? This kami was not a stranger to the tragedies of war. But if you asked her what she was feeling at that moment, she would probably say the view could use more people. Living ones, or rather lively ones. Corpses were boring and the injured were not much better off. In other words there was nothing for a kami of mischief to do or gain from.

Humming a playful tune, she began to skip from puddle to puddle as she made her way to different location.
