OMG FAYE IS MAKING A THREAD (One Hero Needed)

Remy stepped into the bank with his hat down over this eyes. Before we go any further, is it EVER a good idea to work in a bank at all in Jump City? Like seriously, criminals around here do nothing else. It's kinda weird. Today would be honestly no exception as Remy strolled right past a few of the guards. One turned to try and stop him, grabbing him by the shoulder. The Card Master wasn't having any of that. He turned and flipped the guard right over his shoulder, holding him on the ground by the back of his head. "Listen here boy...I'm not here for any of you." Unfortunately, none of the other guards seemed to care as they pulled guns on him. Seriously? Armed guards in every bank? That sort of makes sense actually...Super villains invading every sixteen seconds plus an alien invasion? They probably just made people feel safe. Remy could respect that. He pulled one of his blue cards from his belt, tossing it casually and slicing the guns to bits. He then pulled a red card and slipped it into the crack of the vault door, taking a step back and watching it explode, cracking the door open as he pushed it in.

Most citizens didn't make a run for it. He didn't have a gun, he wasn't hurting anyone...with the exclusion of a bruise or two on the guard he'd flipped, and he stepped into the vault calmly and piling money into a sack he'd pulled from his belt. He sighed and stepped out, looking at the crowd. "Do as you were." He said, tossing a three blue cards at the security cameras, swiftly cutting them to bits. "And do keep in mind you saw nothing."

Haruhi had been in the deli that stood only a building away from the bank when she heard the explosion. *Sigh*...can't you let me atleast finish lunch first?" she said kind of annoyed. Villians always seemed to pick the worst of times to be...well...villainous. She put down her sub and a tip on the counter where she was sitting and stood up. "Thanks for lunch Johnny" she said back to the man behind the counter as she walked out.

She stood in front of the bank's entrance as the doors opened to some guy holding a huge sack, which she guessed was the money. "Tsk tsk, and the same process too, the walk in, scare a little, grab the money and walk right out. Really? I thought you thieves would be a little more creative by now. But whatever, routine makes my job easier I guess."

Remy raised an eyebrow. "Well hello there darlin'." He said with a chuckle. "I wasn't here to scare anyone. One of my dealers was cheated. I needed more money. I fired the dealer and got back some money. Problem solved." He walked down the stairs with a hand under his coat over his red cards. "Now if you'll excuse me, I'll be on my way."

He kept walking down the street. Did he honestly care if she tried...anything? No. He had an eye on her whether she knew it or not. He could see everything after all...

"Well your pretty confident", she said watching him begin to walk away. "Buuuut I can't let you go so easily. You see, that's not your money." She said taking a hold of the bag. "Now come on, you can cooperate and make this easy, or we can do this the hard way."
She wondered what this guy's deal was, she knew he had to be hiding some type of trump card, I mean he robbed the bank aloneand managed to walk out like it was no big deal.

Twisted Fate saw everything, it was what made him the ultimate gambler. The moment before Haruhi grabbed the bag, he pivoted and slid under her arm with inhuman speed, dodging around her and holding a blue card to the back of her head. "Darlin', there really is no hard way here. Either you let me walk away without injury, or I hurt you bad. And I don't wanna scuff up that pretty lil' face of yours." He said, a look of relative disinterest on his face. He wasn't smug, he barely even looked evil honestly. Just...disinterested in everything else. It was about what he wanted, nothing else.

"Well your a sly one aren't you, I can tell this is going to be fun." She grinned before delivering a high kick, just as fast, at his wrist the held the blue card. What those cards were for, she had no idea, but it was about time to find out. As she kicked him she spun around grabbing his other wrist and preformed a judo throw over her shoulder. "Let's just see which one of us will be the one to get hurt bad." She smirked.

Twisted Fate watched her muscles move. She was fast, so he would have to pay very close attention to stay on top of it. "I'm not interested in fighting you darling." He said, dodging both the kick and the grab with relative ease and spinning into a throw. The card soared outward and sliced straight through a lamppost, causing it to fall toward Haruhi. He was more concerned with leaving rather than hurting the girl. Far too pretty for that. He felt his red deck get the slightest bit heavier as a card appeared in it, and he quickly dropped it onto the pavement as he ran. It would detonate if Haruhi moved over it, spawning a new blue card as it did.

Haruhi jumped to the side, barely dodging the post as it collapsed, cracking the pavement. She began to run after him until she noticed the glowing red card on the ground a step ahead of her. She leaped to the side as it went off and sent debris everywhere, "Hey Wait!" She continued her pursuit and ran after him. "Well just like you won't fight me, I won't let you get away!" she continued to run, she was starting to catch up.

Remy grumbled and pulled out five blue cards. "You're a thorn in my side kid!" He shouted, tossing them in a cone toward Haruhi, dropping the same number of red cards on the ground and detonating them, creating a small chasm in the street. If Haruhi stopped to go around it, the criminal would gain a LOT of distance between the two. If she wanted to go over...well she'd have to deal with the cone of blue cards flying at her that can cut through anything. Her choice.

Haruhi didn't slow down, not even when the red cards went off. Using her surroundings to evade she jumped onto the hood of an upcoming car and ran and leaped off of it in a front flip over the upcoming cone of cards.

Twisted Fate waited until just when she jumped through the cone to flick out a card from the last deck in his belt. This one was a much smaller deck, and the cards were a beautiful, glittering gold. "Hold it partner..." He chuckled, tossing it at the right angle to catch the girl in midair, freezing her. She didn't fall, she didn't move. She could breathe, sure, and she could see everything.

"Well now, looks like we've reached an impass." He chuckled, putting a hand on the girls chin. "Now if you don't have anything else to say, I'll be on my way." He waited until he heard sirens before smiling and backing away. "I thought not." With that he sprinted into the sprawling city, impossible to find as he ducked into one of the many entrances to his underground, completely illegal casino.
