HOGWARTS SCHOOL OF WITCHCRAFT AND WIZARDRY

Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry is a British wizarding boarding school teaching the magical arts, located in Scotland inside Hogwarts Castle. The castle is in the mountains near a loch. The precise location of the school can never be uncovered because it has been rendered Unplottable. Similarly, most wizarding schools locations are protected in order to prevent their ways of teaching being revealed, as well as protect the students and schools themselves from any harm.

Established around the 9th or 10th century, Hogwarts is considered to be one of the finest magical institutions in the wizarding world, though other notable schools include Beauxbatons Academy of Magic and the Durmstrang Institute. Children with magical abilities may be enrolled at birth, and acceptance is confirmed by owl post at age eleven.

The school's motto is Draco Dormiens Nunquam Titillandus and is in Latin, which translates to "Never tickle a sleeping dragon".

It was the time of year again. The first years got there letter to Hogwarts School of Withcraft and Wizardry. They got all there school supplies, a wand, schedule, parchment, feather, ink, books, and possibly a pet. Slowly, people showed up to the London platform 9 3/4. They ran through the wall and came out to see the beloved train, the Hogwarts express. As they got onto the train, they waved goodbye to friends and family as the long school year began. Older students went into their usual carts while the first year students filled in here and there, taking the very empty seats in the back of the train. But, some other first years were brave enough to ask to sit with the older students, steering away from the Slytherin students.

Myles set his stuff on the side walk and smiled at a few first years. He waved goodbye to his parents and the two newborn twins they held in hand. Myles then made his way up the stairs and on to the Hogwarts Express, ready to start the new school year right.
Myles joined a cabin with a few other Slytherin, but once they started to get in a deep conversation about how they plan to pick on some Gryffindors, Myles slipped out. He decided to take his own cabin in the back.

He passes a couple other students, Ravenclaws, Hufflepuff, and the younger ones got out of his way. Was he really that intimidating? It must be his green shirt that says he's a Slytherin, he wasn't even wearing his robes! After passing a few of his own classmates, Myles heard them giggle and run off. At least people still knew what a charmer he was.
After seeing a lot of full cabins, Myles sighed internally and finally sat down in the last cabin, an empty one. He took out a book and began reading, setting his feet on the chair in front of him.

Cat smiled cheerfully as she raced her siblings on the train. This was her oldest sister's last year at Hogwarts, so she was going to cherish it. As soon as she got on, she waved goodbye to her parents and turned around to see her three siblings walking away. They were with their Hufflepuff friends, giggling when Prince Charming, walked past them. Her siblings sat in a cabin, so naturally, Cat followed. She saw that the cabin only had one seat left, but she didn't want to bother them. Cat nervously made her way down the train, book against chest. Every now and then, someone would push her or bump into her. Cat sighed and saw one cab that ad a few seats open, she opened the door and peered in. She sucked in a breath and pulled all the courage she could. "Can I sit here?"

Harmon stood on the hogwarts express en-route for his 5th year at the school. He adjusted his glasses as he made his way down the isles of the train carriages, before coming to an empty one towards the back of the train. He entered it and sat down, finally letting go of his bags, which proceeded to unceremoniously tumble off the chairs onto the floor.

Ah the calm of clickity-clak down the tracks. Fairly soothing as apposed to the hustle and bustle of the city. The school he was going to was even more so. He leaned his head back, closed his eyes, and began to relax.

Izzy had been sitting with her feet kicked up on the train for...wow the 6th time now. Huh, that's crazy. She sighed and closed her eyes, ready for a nice long nap when the door slid open to her cabin and she blinked them open. Some Gryffindor kid, so obviously not a First Year. She smiled and gestured to the seat beside her.

Izzy was kind of hard to miss at this point. Captain of the Ravenclaw Quidditch team, being the most unconventional Ravenclaw EVER in terms of grades, and not to mention she charmed her hair to a permanent hue of rainbow. (Sorta like Tonks, ya know what I mean?) "Sup, I'm Izzy."

Mimi and one older brother and the twins, her younger brothers were ready for another year at Hogwarts! The twins were both First years and Mimi became their big sis as they got on the train, checking off everything on her imaginary checklist in her brain before finally turning to hug them both. "You guys need to make friends from the very get go, okay!? I think you'll probably be in either Gryffindor or Hufflepuff but I'm not sure with you two, so just make friends with everyone! It's what you should do anyway... Hmm... I'll help get you started!" She shoved them in a cabin that had two seats left and closed the door, giggling happily as she heard the start of a very awkward conversation.

The girl then took out her book and started to walk down the train. She was at a very intense part and wanted peace and quiet on the way to school. She knew she already had friends and they knew what she was like when reading. So when they passed each other on the train, they exchanged their hellos and hugs and went on their separate ways. It was a bitter-sweet reality that that meant Mimi was pausing every three seconds or so. She was quite the hidden popular.

Once she made it to the back, she sighed gently and smiled to herself. She didn't even realize that Mister Prince Charming was sitting right in front of her. She was too engrossed in her book that the entire world around her seemed to fade to black. If he was watching, he would see her expressions change from sentence to sentence, holding nothing back because she thought she was alone way back here.

Jenny was super early for the train her and her parents too excited not to be. Her parents gave her her bags and she went on the train. She then spent the next 5 mins or so scaring random people who came on the train trying to make friends that way but everyone just glared at her angerily as she did. She pouted for a bit but then proceeded to dance around the isle ways seeing if anyone wanted to join her but all she got were a few laughs, weird looks, and insults from whispering people.

Jenny pouted again as she slowly took her stuff looking down as she went to the very back of the train and crawled under one of the seats and layed down. Looks like this school was just another school full of mean people who didn't get her weirdness. She then noticed a girl enter the cabin she was in who apparently had on there person inside that she didn't notice yet. She smiled brightly as she popped her head out form under the seat, "Hi! Did you two get stuck back here cause you couldn't make friends too?" It would be clear that this was her first year.

Leana said her goodbyes to her parents and the newborn dragon she had helped hatch but as she tried to nuzzle it goodbye it clung to her face "awwh Cybil I wish I could stay with you but I have to go, gotta grow up big and strong for me by the time I get back alright? Don't worry I'll write letters home" she said, wincing as she tried to pry the claws off her face slowly, getting three little claw marks on each cheek as her parents waved her goodbye with Cybil.

Leana made her way onto the train with her bags and carrying a pet cage with Alister her cat in, looking for a spare place and opening up the carriage Harmon was in "can I sit here?" she asked as she slowly began making her way in, already wearing her Hufflepuff uniform, the claw marks bleeding a tiny bit, they'd look like kitten scratches.

(OOC: Just to clarify the cabin at the end is referring to the one all the others are in)

Petey was waiting with his parents for his sister, who was arriving late, he couldn't bare waiting anymore, he hugged his parents suddenly then grabbed his bags and ran on the train, colliding with an older student. However Petey was so much smaller than the student that while Petey fell over, the older student didn't even stumble, those who witnessed this laughed at Petey and he felt his face going bright red, he ran from the kids calling him names like shorty and bean sprout. He ran into a random room and started crying, clearly upset by the names he was being called, he didn't even notice the others in the cabin.

OOC: Now since everyone has posted, you just have to wait for one person to post until you post.

Myles continued to read, but looked up as someone joined his cabin. He recognized her from school, Myles think she's a third or fourth year, but he wasn't sure. She was so engrossed in her book, that she didn't even notice Myles sitting across from her. Myles smirked and set his book down. He watched her facial expression change and deepen as she scanned the pages. He chuckled, and leaned towards the window, watching her. "That must be a really good book." He finally said, after three minutes of watching her. But, before she could respond, a small child would pop there head out from under his seat, asking if he didn't have any friends either. By not knowing who he was, she must be a first year. "Well, if you're looking for a friend, I'll be your friend." Myles said, smirking.
Not too soon after that, a short boy came crashing through the cabin, crying. He was very short, and with his apprentice, he was obviously a first year. Myles wasn't one for the emotions, so he simply kept quiet, surprised that all these people came into his cabin. So much for quiet.

Cat smiled brightly. "Ooh! I know who you are!" Cat said brightly, sitting down across from her colorful friend. "Last year everyone was buzzing about your Quidditch performance!!! Some even said that you were the best Chaser Ravenclaw has had in years!!!" Cat said excitedly. Izzy was practically famous to those younger than her! So right now, Cat was practically starstruck!

Harmons head shot straight as the girl adressed him. His glasses flew off his face. Harmon fumbled them a little, before managing to firmly grip them with one hand. He was no seeker. He carefully put the glasses back on his face.

"Oh... sure." He stuttered. The girl was the same year as him, but she was a hufflepuff. He remembered the sorting process vaguely. He has never really had a class with her, so he didn't know her name.

Leana smiled and sat across from him, placing Alister's cage closely next to herself and uttering soothing words to her cat who seemed irritated to be in such an enclosed space "its okay Alister, you'll be able to walk around soon don't worry" she said smiling "we can go on a walk around Hogwarts and get you re-familiarized how does that sound huh?" she uttered softly with a smile as Alister settled a little and laid down in his cage.

Leana pushed her glasses up her face and looked to Harmon with a smile, feeling the cold blood on her face and blinked, pulling out a tissue and wiping her face "oh, darn it Cybil" she uttered softly. She then looked back to Harmon "so urm...hi I'm Leana" she said in a friendly voice.

Izzy blushed and smiled. "Well I don't exactly like to think that way." She chuckled, adjusting her little vest and tie that upper class men got to wear nowadays. She reached under her chair and grabbed some Fizzing Whizbies she'd snuck on in her pocket. "So I still seem to have no clue who you are." She teased. "You're younger than me and if you play Quidditch...faces are hard to memorize at that speed. Especially during the Gryphindor games." That game is almost ALWAYS close. They had some good Beaters the past few years, but they graduated. Hopefully that would save Izzy from taking another bludger to the stomach.

Mimi had no idea that this cabin would be so popular. So much for quiet. When the boy first spoke to her, she gasped and jumped up. She opened her mouth to say something when the little girl popped her head out from under the seat and she couldn't help but smile. Definitely a first year. Myles spoke and Mimi rolled her eyes, bending down and whispering into the little girl's ear. "Don't listen to him, he smells funny~" She giggled and sat back up straight, about to ask if the girl would like to sit with her, when another boy came in crying. Gee whiz! Why was this cabin so crowded!? She sighed and stood up, hugging the boy from behind and comforting him like she would one of her younger siblings. "Shhh... Don't cry... You're in a safe cabin now..." Then she turned him around and showed her true colors as an older sister. "Now, tell me who I need to pummel for ya!" She smiled brightly, hoping to make the boy feel better.

Petey tucked his knees into his chin and wrapped his arms around them, then rocked back and forth. He hated being so small and he hated people calling him small and he hated the people in that carriage and he hated himself and... all his negative thoughts were banished when he was hugged by the girl, she was so warm and nice, he turned around and hugged her back, then suddenly was embarrassed and let go, although he didn't exactly resist her hugging him. He laughed a little bit when she asked him who she had to beat up for him, then added The whole of the third carriage he laughed a bit and wiped his eyes dry I'm sorry for barging in, I'll leave if you want me too.

Myles smiled gently towards the girl. "You're Hiroto right? I think i remember your sorting." He said thoughtfully, not really knowing if she was listening. Mimi was busy comforting a younger student, along with making sure another first year felt welcome. "And your name?" Myles asked the first year across from him. By now, they were half way to hogwarts. After telling him her name, Myles would set down his book and watch Mimi. "Are you excited for your sorting?" He asked her once more, soon gazing out the window towards the grassy field. Myles wasn't big on having deep conversations, or even small things like this. He doesn't like to show emotion unless its his pride or charm.

Cat smiled. "I'm Cat! I'm a fourth year and I'm Beater for Gryfindor! I couldn't hit you last year! You were practically impossible to hit! But, i hope to get better this year! She said enthusiastically!
