Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry is a British wizarding boarding school teaching the magical arts, located in Scotland[1] inside Hogwarts Castle. The castle is in the mountains near a loch. The precise location of the school can never be uncovered because it has been rendered Unplottable. Similarly, most wizarding schools locations are protected in order to prevent their ways of teaching being revealed, as well as protect the students and schools themselves from any harm.

Established around the 9th or 10th century, Hogwarts is considered to be one of the finest magical institutions in the wizarding world, though other notable schools include Beauxbatons Academy of Magic and the Durmstrang Institute. Children with magical abilities may be enrolled at birth, and acceptance is confirmed by owl post at age eleven.

The school's motto is Draco Dormiens Nunquam Titillandus and is in Latin, which translates to "Never tickle a sleeping dragon".

Basic Rules

Alright, In this thread we are starting 10 years after Harry and friends graduated Hogwarts! That means no one is Harry, Hermoine, or Draco! You get to start clean and make your own adventures!

NO ONE CAN BE DESCENDANTS OF THE MAIN CHARACTERS!

I don't want any characters even associated with the characters of the books, I want everything to be new and I don't want other be a main character because of their blood. If you would like to be a teacher, go ahead! But it counts as one of your characters!

So, because we can only have eight people in each thread, each person can have two characters. But, each character has to be in a different house (Unless you have twins, then pm me). I want to have at least 3 people in each house so don't go storming into Gryfindor! You can be in any grade you'd like! But choose wisely!

Qudditch
If you'd like to be on quidditch team, please say so, I don't want everyone saying they're a seeker or something and getting into a fight. If you'd like to be the captain of the team PLEASE PM ME for details. I will make it orderly so everyone has a chance at getting to be captain. Also, since we don't have enough people for one whole team, we will have NPC's who you can practically play as during the game.

Classes
There are a variety of classes taught at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. These include both the core curriculum and the electives, available from third year forward. In the fifth year, students take the Ordinary Wizarding Level (O.W.L.) exams to determine whether they can achieve a score to continue to Nastily Exhausting Wizarding Test (N.E.W.T.) levels of the class in the upcoming year. Some classes, including the core classes, may be dropped in sixth year. Some students may apply for Time-Turners to take more classes than possible to fit in the timetables, but they may have a choice to drop courses if they become a burden, aside from the essential classes.

All first-years at Hogwarts must take seven subjects: Transfiguration, Charms, Potions, History of Magic, Defence Against the Dark Arts, Astronomy and Herbology. Flying lessons (on broomsticks) are also compulsory.

At the end of their second year at Hogwarts, students are required to choose a minimum of two additional subjects from the following list: Arithmancy, Muggle Studies, Divination, Study of Ancient Runes and Care of Magical Creatures.

Very specialised subjects such as Alchemy are sometimes offered in the final two years

What the School year looks like!

Daily Routines at Hogwarts
-The day begins with breakfast in the Great Hall. During breakfast, the morning mail arrives in a flurry of hundreds of owls. A bell signals the start of the first class at 9 am.
-There are two morning classes with a break between (signalled by a bell), followed by lunch and a break.
-After lunch, classes resume at 1 pm. It is not clear if there are one or two classes in the afternoon.
-Supper is served in the Great Hall toward evening, after which the students are expected to be in their ---House common rooms for studying and socializing. Curfew for older students is 9 pm (OP).
-There is no set bedtime after supper.

Myles is very charming person, always trying to pick up a girl, but can get very controlling. He can be manipulative and rude to people who don't stand up for themselves. Although he can be mean, he has a really big soft spot for all animals.

Myles came from a wealthier family, but they never rubbed it in anyone's faces. They help often and his dad is high in rank at the daily prophet, making a lot of money. His mom owns a pet store which allows him to play with animals often. Myles may be mean to some people, but he's protective of his loved ones and will do anything to save them.

Cat is really quiet and sweet. She tends to not stand up for herself and is really afraid to say stuff. She is a straight A student that will do almost anything when asked. She isn't the kind of person to speak, the only time she really speak is when someone asks her too.
