===POWERS===


Powers:

Vampiric anatomy: Her DNA was mutated while she was still in the womb of her mother. She has enhanced canine teeth because of this and the change in her system has also led to the development of her vampiric nature. This also has her body at peak physical condition, even slightly inhuman. Her toughness was equivalent to that of a fighter in his prime. Reflexes of a snake. Enough strength to lift 10 tons with some strain. And speed reaching up to 35 mph.

- Immortality: She will not age once she fully develops around the age of 21. Though this is true, she can be fatally damaged and die. The aging process does not affect the fact that she is not impervious to death. She simply could live forever.

Shape shifting: Along with Immortality, her DNA has been mutated in the way that she can shift her body's form three ways. These three forms are rat, wolf, and gas. Rat and wolf are simplistic and self-explanatory. When she transforms into either she takes the shape of that animal. In these two forms she can stay indefinitely if she wanted. However, with the gas form, she morphs into 4 liters worth of gas. (This is also equal to the amount of blood in her body.) The only way to detect this gas is by scent, as she leaves a very defined smell of blood wherever she travels.

Writing Manifestation: Anastasia can make writing appear within a person's vision, and only their vision. It is purely an illusion. She can bend the words and "create" them out of anything she wants. Blood, water, wood, cloud, anything. The writing will dissipate naturally over two weeks; however, if she so chooses, she can snap and it will disappear.

Skills:

Scent: Along with her body being in peak physical condition, her sense of smell is also heightened to the degree that she can smell different blood types, even distinguishing between normal humans and metas.

She is very skilled with wielding a knife/sword. It's her primary weapon of choice.

Weaknesses:

Her biggest weakness is her struggle with Anemia. Anemia is a condition caused by lack of healthy red blood cells and therefore she can't get oxygen throughout her body like she needs to. It's also the driving force in why she is the way she is. However, if she doesn't get enough blood into her system, or runs it out, she could collapse. Symptoms of her Anemia include pale skin, fatigue, insomnia.

Silver, just the presence, will cause her physical pain to the point where she will either turn into gas and run away, or double over if she's actually touched.

Temperature below 10 degrees Fahrenheit will very literally freeze her. Because of the lack of blood circulating through her body at all times anyway, she is not able to get enough blood pumping to keep her muscles moving in the cold.

If you destroy her heart or brain, she's dead.

Even though she is immortal, she can still be wounded just like a normal human. Therefore, anything that harms a human will harm her. In a very real sense, it's even worse for her. Losing just a pint of blood could be fatal, if she hasn't eaten in a long while, which hardly ever happens.

Personality:

She is an elegant evil, shaped from her environment. She is intelligent and has formulated her own identity through reading the legends of vampires years ago. Everything she does is to insure that humans know she is not just a story in a book. This evil is real. She is alive and takes joy in watching the faces of her victims contort as she plays with them as a cat would with a mouse. Her whole being lives for the thrill of the hunt. Humans are nothing more than food to her.

===PERSONAL BACKGROUND===

History:
Growing up in a dysfunctional home is hard enough without being an anemic to top it all off...

Anastasia's parents did love her, but even while she was young, she could see the look of disgust they displayed each time they gave her a blood pouch. At school she couldn't go a single day without getting called something horrible. Freak, weirdo, and vampire being among the top three. Growing up with this along with the fact that she knew it wasn't a choice and yet still was made fun of for it, she began to cultivate a hate towards those that didn't realize what she really was.

During middle school she read every vampire novel she could get her hands on and began to enjoy the tales of bloodshed and death. She started to drink more and more blood, wondering if it tasted better directly from the source, wondering if the legends were true. One day a boy really made her angry and she decided to test her theory. Once she started she couldn't stop and sucked him dry. The mixture of fresh human blood and her already twisted DNA awakened her powers.

From that day forward she would never again drink from a pouch. She experimented with her powers and made sure to keep her physical body in the best condition she could. The day finally came where she no longer felt the need for her parents and rid herself of them. Her eyes had changed to the color of blood that she had spilt. The girl was no longer fit to be called human. She was now a pure vampire, and she loved it.

Now she was traveling to Jump City. She had heard of the surge of metas that had moved in and was wondering if they tasted even more delicious than humans. With that thought, she packed up her things, licked her lips, and moved.
