Gooing down to business [Bow and Open]

Today, Morpha was on a mission! Much like every day she's been exploring Jump. The human world was a strange place to be for a young alien, especially in a big city like Jump. This morning, Mo noticed that her supply of green paper was much smaller then it used to be. This would be a problem for her, knowing that humans exchange this green paper for goods like food, clothing, and etc. How would Mo get more of this green paper?

Even as hopeful as she was, Mo was not confident in thinking she could just ask people for money. She'd have to do something to earn it, like back when she was in the circus. Morpha wasn't too keen on resorting to that again to replenish her supply of green paper, and she really wanted to be doing something that she could learn something new.

Mo's first thought was the library, and while she had been there so often that she had made friends with some of the librarians, the fact she still didn't know how to read enough was too much of an issue for them to overlook. But, they suggested trying one of the various restaurants. They even said they'd put in a good word for her to help get her started.

So, Mo was out to check the various places to see if they would hire her! In her excitement at this new opportunity, she wasn't looking where she was going and crashed into someone. Wouldn't be the first time either...

Metamophi needed to get a job, that much was simple, he was running out of the money he found in the facility he was raised in after he destroyed everything so no-one could finish his work, he found quite a lot and it lasted him a whole year, but he needed some more if he was going to survive, let alone keep his home. He walked around town, looking for places looking for work, his eye caught a help wanted sign, but before he could investigate, something crashed into him from behind and almost knocked him over What the-!?!

It was actually that help wanted sign that had distracted her. Mo recognized both words, but stopped paying attention to where she was going. "Oof!" Mo grunted when she bumped into Metamorphi, looking up at who she had bumped into apologetically. Mo was slightly shorter then she usually was today. "Oh! Mo is sorry! Mo was reading help wanted sign and was unable to watch where Mo was going!" Mo apologized.

Metamorphi frowned at the odd girl, why did she refer to herself as her own name, at least, he assumed that was what Mo meant, he had no idea, rather than referring to herself as 'I' It's okay, sorry for... being in your way... I guess.

Mo glanced at the help wanted sign again and a thought crossed her mind. "Did you come because of help wanted sign too?" Mo asked curiously. For some reason, he looked like she was looking for a job. Was this what humans called instinct? "Mo is looking for job!" Mo stated enthusiastically.

Metamorphi did not hide the shock on his face, this girl was surprisingly observational despite how stupid she seemed a second ago Yes... I am looking for a job, I saw the help wanted sign and decided to apply he walked towards the door and opened it to let her in.

"Then we can apply together," Mo stated, smiling happily when he opened the door for her. Morpha had a quick look around the place. She had been to restaurants before in the past, so this wasn't that new to her.

Metamorphi walked over to a waiter Excuse me? Where can we go about to apply for the job on the help wanted sign? the waiter raised his mouth to answer, but then his eye caught Mo and his interest in Metamorphi completely wavered as he stared at her Uhhhh

Morpha blinked, she had seen this before. She didn't understand why it happened, but whenever she talked to most young males, they seemed to be unable to talk to her. Were they like her friend Alex? Morpha thought about morphing but quickly thought better of it, so she looked for a waitress. "Excuse Mo, but Mo and her friend wanted to apply for a job," Mo asked politely.

The waitress blinked and gave her a weird look, Mo totally sounded like English wasn't her first language. "Uh, sure. Let me just go grab a couple applications," the waitress said going off, returning a few seconds later with a couple applications and a couple pens. And Mo would soon discover that she was helpless!

Bow was enjoying a quiet evening to herself as she thought over everything that had happened in her life thus far. To her, the life that she lived only started about two months ago when she moved to Jump City, even though Necati had helped her retrieve some of the hidden turning points in her history that developed her into the young lady she is today.

As she ate, she couldn't help but people watch and got especially intrigued when Meta walked in with a girl. When they got applications and, assumingly, sat down together, she couldn't resist but to get up and skip over to them. She she stood at their table she smiled brightly at the two of them. When she opened her mouth to speak, the words that came out were in no way, shape, or form meant to be rude or prying. "Hayy Meta! Are you and your girlfriend applying to work here as a couple??" Some of her manners had been forgotten with her memories and she stood there with a sweet smile and innocent eyes.

Mo had just started looking at her application when Bow suddenly popped up. She looked up and smiled back before blinking curiously. This girl seemed to know him as Meta. That was an unusual name for a human. Was it even a human name? Mo was also curious as to why Bow said girl friend in place of "you two." And as a couple? A couple of what? Mo decided to see how this played out and looked over her application again.

Metamorphi looked up at Bow, he smiled at her, then lost it at her question I've just met her, she said she was applying here as well, so we decided to apply together honestly, he was kind of insulted that she thought of him as that kind of person, even though she clearly didn't mean to be rude, the look on his face clearly suggested he thought she was being just that.

Bow blinked and took a step back in slight shock. What was it that she said to set him off like that? She was intelligent enough to figure out that it was probably the way she instantly thought of them as a pair and blushed in embarrassment. Her words were soft and apologetic as she spoke again, trying to recover from being so dumb. "S-sorry... That makes sense... I'm having a hard time with knowing the right questions to say today I guess..." *giggle* She tried to just play it off as a joke but failed and scratched the back of her head, causing her hoodie to fall and a wave of pink to fall behind her. She sighed and just left it alone, looking back to the two of them with a soft smile. "Soooo... Applications huh? Sounds like fun..." She didn't want to over step any lines again.

It was about that time when Mo had read enough of the application to realize... she had no idea what to write down, or couldn't read parts of it. "This will be harder then Mo thought," Mo whined feebly in dismay. It was in large part due to the fact that she wasn't from Earth, and hadn't gone through any of the proper channels yet. Not that she knew how to go about doing that mind you.
