| Kuro still didn't show any emotions to Ray as she asked how they were going to go about handling the cult; even his voice was lacking emotion.
If we tried to take all of them out without them finding out, we would be here all night and morning. Assault.
Kuro drew one of his blades, running an electric current through it as he glowed, and sliced around himself on the roof. As soon as the circle was completed, he fell through the ceiling, the piece of roof hitting a few gathered cult members and knocking them out, as he swung a cable out to a beam of the roof, and rappelled down, kicking two members across the room as he landed, drawing both of his blades, but they were sheathed. This effectively turned both HF-blades into short staves. He had promised, after all, as he started bashing the cult members to maim and knock out instead of kill.

| Ray smiled at this. Stealth wasn't her thing, so barging in and taking out people like a bullet was her specialty. He broke a hole on the roof while Ray put on her goggles. She shot down into cult's area to find a dim room with red cloaks everywhere. It was creepy, dark, and had weird decor everywhere. Pushing this from her mind, Ray flew over to a group of red cloaks and spun around them at top speed. She stopped and watched as a mini tornado carried the 12 red cloaks into another group. Ray then shot a giant statue that toppled over onto a few people. Not only was Ray taking out people, but she was destroying everything they worked for. This would be a great way to stop a cult if they could just remove everything! | |

| Kuro kept at work, bashing their skulls in with his sheathed swords. When he saw Ray making a show of things, he saw what she was getting at, and realized that doing it her way might be more effective. He ran towards some of the people still up at the alter with a ton of books, and unsheathed one of the HF-blades, cutting through them to scare them and bashing them with the other sheathed HF-blade.
There were still a lot of them with weapons. Kuro looked to Ray, tossing a cable up at her.
Ray, corral them with this. I'll produce a current that will knock them all out.
While talking, he elbowed a person in the jaw, and kicked another in the stomach.

| As Ray punched a man in the jaw Reaper called out to her. She grabbed the cable and nodded at his instructions. She saw at least four people running down the halls and enter a secret room. She chased after them and broke into the secret room where 20 people were. They began throwing knives at Ray, which she easily dodged. Ray, in a quick motion, flew around them all, throwing them into a circle with soon became a tornado. She then threw the cable around them which shocked them all and knocked them unconscious. That took out 24 people at once, it was pretty useful!
Ray then flew out of the room with the cable in her hand. She appeared behind Reaper with the cable in her right hand. She tossed it towards him. "Thanks!" Ray chimed happily as she shot off to throw more things at people.

| Kuro kept whacking people with his sheathes as Ray went to carry out the plan. Finally, he felt her tug, and glowed, electrifying the people on the other end of the line. That left only a few more people, who he easily disposed of with his sheathes and his kicks.
A few minutes later, Kuro waited for Ray to finish off the stragglers as he sat on an unconscious body, looking through one of the intact books.
Scriptures on how to summon demons and the like from hell, and how the world's ultimate fate is to collapse in on itself, by unlocking the ultimate power of all human beings.
Kuro took another curious flip-through, before shutting the book. He glowed, and sent an electric current through the book before it burst into flame.
They're more insane than I am.

| Ray swooped around and dropped a chandelier on some of the remanding red cloaks. She chased one man into a pillar which he fell to the floor unconscious, leaving no one that they knew of left. "I'll do a quick sweep of the area to see if any one is left, then we can call the cops and leave!" She chimed happily as she shot off and went through every room in the cathedral. She only brought back one woman straggler, but she passed out from anxiety. Ray dropped her onto a pile of other red cloaks and landed in front of Reaper. "Alright, I'll call the cops, you can go if you'd like." Ray offered as she took off her goggles and pulled out a blue phone. | |

| Ray did an excellent job of getting any random extra occults rounded up, just like Kuro expected she would. If Kuro ever needed a partner on a job, she would be the first person he would call. She said she would go scout and see if she missed anyone. He nodded, standing up, and retrieving his HF-blades. Running a current through them again, he started absolutely destroying every relic of their little religion that he could. Sacrificing the blood of children...that should never be sanctioned.
When she got back with one straggler, he was already done, sheathing his blades. He turned back to her as she started calling the cops, but decided to stay, waiting for her to finish.
When she was done calling the cops, he spoke up.
You did a good job. ...if you ever need help on something, you can call me at this number. He picked up a scrap piece of paper and wrote his remote number on it, handing it to her. If you do, just remember that it has to be the same deal as last time. I'll help you as long as you pay my price. Speaking of which...we still have that to do.

| Ray smiled and shoved the piece of paper in her pocket. "Cool! I hope to see you soon!" She chimed as she put her phone back in her pocket. Of course, he remembered. She was going to have to pay this price, call the cops, and book it. She was hoping he'd forget, but it was probably a stupid idea. This was a way for him to keep his powers, so she guesses that's helping someone, so it makes this okay. Ray awkwardly looked at Reaper and took off his mask. She closed her eyes (So she wouldn't see his true identity), and kissed him. | |

| Ray put the slip of paper in her pocket, saying that she hoped to see him soon. This caused Kuro some actual confusion. She was certainly peculiar, but no one had ever been this excited about him before. Most people were only happy to see him go.
After he reminded her that he still had to pay his price, she went silent for a bit, before closing her eyes and taking off his mask. Kuro blinked, glad that she respected his privacy, and kissed her deeply. He had used his powers over twenty times, so it needed to be the most passionate, and also needed to last at least thirty seconds. He hoped she wouldn't make it more awkward by breaking it and accusing him of having ulterior motives. If the contact was broken before the price was paid, he would have to start all over again.

| Ray expected this kiss to be quick and simple, but the longer she stayed attached to him, the more intense it got. She was now practically making out with a man she'd only met once. She didn't even know his name, but here she was, kissing him more passionate then she did with her boyfriends. The next thing she knew was that her arms was around his waist, this escalated very quickly.. | |

| He didn't really make too big of a deal out of how inclined Ray was into the kiss; after all, after twenty uses, the kiss needed to be the most passionate he could muster. She wrapped her arms around his waist, and he did the same to her, but as soon as thirty seconds of the contact had passed, he withdrew, putting a hand over her eyes and replacing his mask.
After his mask was back on, he uncovered her eyes, and she would be able to see that his eyes were an emerald shade of green.
...thank you, Ray. I apologize for the inconvenience.
He turned around and launched a cable up to the hole in the ceiling, pulling it taut. He would then turn the motor on and leave through the opening, unless Ray had anything more to say or do.

| Ray withdrew and patiently waited for him to put his mask on. She didn't say anything as he told her sorry. She simply muttered sorry and watch him leave. "I-I still don't know your name." Ray called after him, hoping he could hear her.

| Kuro was about to zip out before she asked for Kuro's name. He could only assume she was after his real one, and after the justice they had righted tonight, could he really blame her? He stood there for a few seconds, contemplating on whether to tell her the truth or not, before finally turning his head to face her.
I'm Kuro.
He then turned on the motor to the cable, exiting through the roof and running across the rooftops to get away from the cathedral.

| Ray waved goodbye to Kuro and when she heard the nearby sirens, she knew she had to leave. She placed her goggles on her head and shot off, out through the window, and into the sky. Although she probably just saved thousands more people from being sacrificed for this cult, the only thing that fazed her was Kuro and his emerald eyes. | |
