Kirito & Asuna were currently on level 22 in Arincrad heading to the forest area where they could hopefully start a new life together as husband and wife. At least until their 2 week vacation from the Knights of Blood ended anyway. They had been through a lot as of late and Kirito was just glad he had Asuna with him. She really made everything in this world bearable. As they walked through the forest arm and arm. Kirito looked upon the road leading to the forest by the lake and smiled. "Asuna-Chan, there it is. Isn't it beautiful?" He said softly to her as they peered at the serene area.

Looking at the surrounding forest, Asuna glanced up at the sun's rays that pierced through the openings in the branches of the tall pine trees. To spend your time not only learning to survive, but to live is what Kirito had taught her. To overcome fear and be able to enjoy life even in a world like this, a world full of monsters, and peril. Right now she was living, and enjoying every second with the man she loved.
She rested her head on his shoulder and brought herself closer to him, hugging his arm close, as they made their way down the path towards their newly bought home. Closing her eyes, she smiled at the thought of Kirito and her being able to spend time alone, with no danger, no dungeons, just them being together as husband and wife.
She looked up as Kirito mentioned the view of where their new home would be built. "Ahhhh, utsukushi!" (Beautiful.) She couldn't help but run a few steps ahead and stop to take in the view. Her face was full of joy, turning back to face Kirito, she placed her hands together. "It's perfect, Kirito-kun." She said, then ran to him and hugged him, as they did a small twirl, smiling greatly.

As she twirled he smiled awkwardly. He had never had such a situation before in real life or in SAO. In his real life, he had avoided his sister and others. Instead he invested most of his time in his studies of MMOs. On SAO he was a beater, and always went solo on missions. For the past two years now he had made it with very little contact and now here he was opening himself up marriage! However, if it was with Asuna, he was sure he could manage. "Oi, Asuna-Chan, this is the spot." He said as he approached a large area of trees and looked upon it. The view of the lake would be perfect. "Ok, want to help me clear the area so that we can begin construction as soon as possible? My skills in this area aren't too high, so I will definitely need your help." Kirito says aloud while pulling out his elucidator and assuming his stance as he surveys the trees. He was going to try and cut as many down as possible in one combo.

She pulled out her Rapier and swished it, pointing it down towards the ground as she walked up to the trees, a serious look on her face. Preparing her stance, her lambent light in hand, she began to charge up her skill as her sword began to glow. "Flashing Penetrator!" She attacked just at the right moment, knocking down a quarter acre of trees. She straightened up with a confident smile. "Now what was that about heightening useless skills such as cooking and sewing and carpenter skills." She asked the rhetorical question.

"O_O.... "Kirito stood with a blank face as many trees fell to her attack and as they materialized, they left large piles of wooden logs behind for use. "Yes, yes, Asuna-Chan." Kirito says waving his hand in a non-nonchalant motion with a sweat drop flowing down the side of his head. He was agreeing with her, but was also rather impressed by her skills with and without a sword.
Now it was time to get serious, he needed to do his part. "Sword Art:" Kirito called out before spinning and slashing a row of trees with one swing and then turns and slices down a couple more. "Horizontal Square!" Another set of slashes encompassed the technique, until finally Kirito finished his attack with another wide arcing slash, causing a blue line cut in the shape of a square to encompass the remaining acre of trees around them. These also formed into nice log piles as they fell and Kirito sheathed his weapon. "Okay, now we can start building. While I do this Asuna-Chan, would you like to go into town and buy furniture. I would go, but uhh..." How could he say he lacked the obvious amount of funds she did to buy a whole other set of furnishings in addition to his home on floor 55. "Well, erm, you're a girl and would be better suited for that kind of stuff than me." Kirito said in an effort to save face while rubbing the back of his head.
