| Aria T’Soni===IDENTITY===Full Name:Aria T’SoniNickname(s):Ari'Age:113Classification:Asari (Alien)Affiliation:Neutral===PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION===Hair Color:N/AEye Color:Aqua BlueHeight:5’5Weight:117lbsOther:Purple Skin Color===POWERS===Biotic AugmentationAn Asari is naturally born with biotic capabilities; it’s whether they choose to pursue training that determines how adept they become. Biotic abilities can show themselves in a more physical way, or through more mental powers. In Aria’s case, it’s physical.
Aria is able to use her Biotic Energy to augment her body to give her several advantages. It can be to amplify her strength; which is normally equal that to of an average human to be up to twenty times stronger. Thus allowing her to lift up objects that she otherwise could not, or make a strike that much more powerful. She can also use her biotic energy to augment her speed, to make her run faster. It could also be used to strengthen her leg muscles, to allow her to leap greater distances. It may even be a combination of two; as she has learned to do a ‘Biotic Charge’ in which she speeds towards a target in a matter of seconds, able to phase through obstacles in the way due to the speed; though this has a range of around ten metres. It essentially allows her to use her Biotic Energy to allow her to physically do things she otherwise can’t for a period of time; dependent on the energy used.
Her most powerful attack would be something she calls ‘Nova’. In which she channels all of her Biotic Energy to release in one full swoop. With it all channelled, she punches the ground to create a biotic explosion, that which damages anything with a 3 metre radius, even sending them flying through the air. Though this is very costly, and will drain all of her energy in one full swoop. Not to be overused at all.Biotic HealingThrough touch, Aria is able to use her Biotic Energy to heal others who have been afflicted with an injury, broken bones, wounds, diseases or viruses. It doesn’t provide an instant cure as such, as the target will still need to rest for some time after. But it sure beats modern medicine for sure. As for using it on herself, well. Aria can cure herself of minor injuries, along with diseases and viruses. But that’s about the extent of it’s use on herself.Biotic TelekinesisBiotic Telekinesis is much like your standard Telekenesis. It allows users to lift, throw and pull objects; in Aria’s case it will be of an object or target of around five to seven tonnes in weight. However, rather than relying on mental strength, it relies on Aria’s Biotic Energy. So of course, the heavier the target, or the longer a target is held will drain more of her Biotic Energy. It’s best to be used when necessary, rather thanm abused for convenience really.Asari Melding During melding, an Asari consciously attunes her nervous system to her partner's, sending and receiving electrical impulses directly through the skin. A common phrase used before melding is "embrace eternity," presumably to help focus the partner's mind. Effectively, the Asari and her partner briefly become one unified nervous system.
An Asari's melding ability extends to a mental connection as well, which has been described as being the true union between an Asari and her partner. It allows the Asari to explore her partner's genetic heritage and pass desirable traits on to any offspring. During mating an Asari and her partner share memories, thoughts, and feelings, but it is also possible for an asari to meld with another for the sole purpose of transferring thoughts, without reproduction.===SKILLS===Weapon ExpertDue to Aria’s military training (to a degree), she has learnt to use various weaponry and thus quite proficient; mostly in using assault rifles and shotguns. She’s good at aiming, and probably knows enough to be able to pick up any gun and use it effectively. Hand to Hand CombatA lot of the Asari’s biotic powers are very up close, and thus those who follow their biotic roots are taught in hand to hand combat. Aria didn’t receive the total training most Asari get in hand to hand combat, but she knows enough to hold her own.===WEAKNESSES===AlienAsari are just as durable as Humans, perhaps only just better equipped to defend themselves. Aria is still weak to stabbing, being shot and all that usual stuff. Of which she tries to avoid of course, do you really want to see blue blood? Come on.NaiveEarth is very new to Aria, and is very different to life in Asari space. Back home you can trust everyone, depend on anyone. So sometimes that can come back against her being on a planet so alien to her. But over time she will learn, and maybe it won’t be such a weakness.Biotic EnergyBiotic Energy is really the key essence for Aria to have any form of an attacking role in combat, and each power drains her of it more, as well as her focus. There are times she needs to just step back, out of harms way and just recharge her energy. Otherwise, she can’t do a thing.===OUTFIT/UNIFORM===- Spoiler:
===PSYCHOLOGICAL PROFILE===Likes:Exploration New Experiences Asari Culture Other Cultures Males Females Science Music Fun Meditation LiteratureDislikes:Small Spaces Boredom Being Interrupted Annoying People EvilStrengthsAria is perhaps one of the most loyal beings that you may ever know. She’s always ready and willing to help another, and to defend someone weaker than her, or stronger. She’s dependable, caring and won’t leave anyone behind… Soldier!PersonalityAria is rather a playful Asari. She has a very good outlook on life and the Galaxy in general, and is always in a bright, bubbly kind of mood. She gets confused easily, being new to Earth and sometimes doesn’t exactly know how to act. She’s very innocent and sweet in nature, speaking in a very soft tone, usually. She doesn’t get annoyed, or loses her temper easily. But when she does… stay away.Interests/HabitsWell, as listed in her likes. New experiences, exploration, culture, science and literature are really her key interests. She is a follower of the Asari religion known as; Siara; which translates to ‘All is one’. Siara believe that the Universe is conscious, that every life is a piece of a greater whole, and that death is a merging of spiritual energy back into the Universal conscious.===PERSONAL BACKGROUND===Family MembersMatriarch Lissele (Mother) ??? (Father)Place of OriginThessia, Parnitha System, Athena NebulaCurrent LocationJump CityHistoryAsari History/Physiology:Asari are not from Earth, obviously. Their home planet is Thessia, from the Parnitha System within the Athena Nebula. They came about in the year 70BCE, and learned space travel by the year 200BCE which enabled them to explore the galaxy and settle on various planets, such as; Athame, Janiri, Kurinth, Lucen, Piares, Tevura. Their skin color is somewhere between blue and purple, and they feature spiritual markings on their face as a way of showing of who’s family they are. Asari have the appearance of a female, but are not female, they are genderless. Asari tend to live for a thousand years due to their robust cellular system, and therefore have existed through thousands of years of history within the Galaxy. Asari are naturally born with Biotic powers, and the ability to ‘Meld’ minds with another. Asari reproduction is a little bit of a shady area really. Due to diversity in DNA, Asari prefer to mate with those of another species. Because they are neither male or female, they can reproduce with either Gender and do so as they pass on two copies of their genes. However, anyone born of an Asari parent will be an Asari, it’s a very dominant gene and are known recorded cases to disprove that fact. Aria T’Soni History:Aria was born on Thessia, and her mother is Matriarch Lissele. She has no idea of who her father is, but she believes it is another Asari (Asari/Asari reproduction is frowned upon in Asari culture). Aria indeed decided to follow the routes of her Biotic Capabilities, which in Asari terms means a military lifestyle. Aria trained to be one of the Asari commando’s, and thus her abilities flourished. She had been on duty for the Asari Commandoes several times, as the Galaxy is so widespread; a race is bound to encounter another that is hostile. Take the Oravore race, who attacked Thessia for its lush resources. Aria was involved with defending Thessia, and they did; sending the Oravore’s back where they belong. But, it did show several casualties and they were felt throughout Asari space. Lissele deemed the military lifestyle too dangerous for a daughter of hers. Being an Asari Matriarch meant that she was revered throughout the Asari race and thus was able to have Aria out of the military program. From then on, Aria wasn’t too happy, she had no idea what was her calling, or her role in Asari space. Aria was very young; though it may not seem that way to humans and thus spent a few years trying to find herself. She researched Asari science, music and literature, living a rather luxurious lifestyle as the daughter of a Matriarch and was even a dancer in one of Thessia’s most notorious clubs. Though, as Aria reached the ‘Maiden’ stage of the Asari life cycle (Puberty, basically); she became rather restless, wanting to explore and experience new things. Lissele thought it best that her daughter go on a pilgrimage, to be a part of another race’s culture, to experience life before returning back to Thessia. Aria has just left Thessia at the young Asari age of 113, headed for Earth on her pilgrimage. She knows little of Earth, so the learning curve may be steep. But that’s exactly what she’s looking for.

| It is with great joy that I dub this character... If only all profiles were put together so beautifully. Congratulations. I can put Manic in the Inactive section, but I hope the HIVE revives soon. You're right, it's been dead for far too long. If we can bring it back to life, we would happily accept Manic back in the club. |
