Spoiler:

"Try to keep your head on.”

===IDENTITY===

Full Name: Lucretia J. Faulkner
Nickname(s): Kree
Codename: Valkyrie
Alias(es):The Shadow Rider
Gender: Female
Age: 17 (physically *death date*), but 740 years old
(numerically, from the dates 1272-2012)
Classification: Earth-Bound Valkyrie / Modern-Day Dullahan
Affiliation: Righteous Hero / Lawful Vigilante, leader of the Night Hawks

===PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION===

Hair Color: N/A
Eye Color: N/A
Height: 5’ 9.5”
Weight: Slim, but muscular
Other Traits: No head; instead, an ominous, inky-black smoke puffs from the top of her neck. Most commonly, Kree will wear a motorcycle helmet to make it appear that she has a head. If she’s feeling ambitious, she’ll switch them often simply to look cool or just trip people up. Another important detail and purpose to wearing a helmet other than the obvious is that they provide the ONLY MEANS for Kree to talk; this is accomplished by a custom-constructed, inset psychic translator built by “a friend in a high place” that gathers telepathic messages and converts them to an audio voice stereo, which has been programmed to sound like a normal, human, seventeen-year-old girl versus an ugly and unnatural computer drone. Her "costume" is very similar to Christopher Nolan's take on Catwoman's leather getup. minus the fancy headgear and stiletto heels; Kree aims for function, not fashion.

===POWERS===

Mainly revolving around fabled paranormal abilities, Kree’s powers often depend on her own willpower and belief in that which is unseen (kind of like the will-power needed to power a Green Lantern’s ring). This affects the outcome and success rate at tapping into these spiritual abilities, but she always has her physical abilities as back-up.

CLAIRVOYANT SIGHT: Seeing far away scenes and places or hidden things, without using the physical eyes as well as the ability to see earth-bound spirits or “ghosts.” Clairvoyance also enables one to perceive scenes and mental images with the mind's eye. In Kree’s instance, her Clairvoyance regularly ranges from about the length of two school-buses, or about eighty feet. The numeric amount and mass of the objects blocking her clairvoyance also play into this limitation, often making it harder to focus and see clearly specific details more trying. This ability is especially useful when carrying out crime-prevention assignments like drug busting or when searching for victims of kidnapping.

CLAIRVOYANT SIGHT: Kree has the unique ability to “read” information from objects. For example, a Valkyrie may hold a watch or wallet belonging to a person she doesn’t know, and by concentrating on the object, garner information about the person’s past, present, or future. This ability comes in handy when she’s doing personal detective work.

PSYCHOMETRY: When asleep and after heavy meditation (including fasting, mantra, and other common practices), Valkyrie can spiritually separate her body and travel vast distances with the mind alone. Although Kree never uses this ability as an offensive maneuver or means for solving a case, she uses this frequently to “travel” to places that she has personally been to, including the plot of land where her house once stood and the prison-hold in which she lost her head.

===PSYCHOLOGICAL PROFILE===

Skills: martial arts • focus • stamina • flexibility • good tactician • prime physique • emotionally strong • large range of knowledge • experience/ seven-hundred years+ of watching wars and their tactics • heightened sense of touch due to the absence of her other five senses in their natural presence

Equipment: Motorcycle that can dematerialized upon command - [x] • custom collection of specialised motorcycle helmets that serve for a variety of purposes from allowing Valkyrie to speak and recording video/audio to looking like a bad-ss.. • "detective tools of the trade" - police scanner, (a copious amount of) handcuffs, zip ties • the occasional switchblade literally hidden up her sleeve

Personality: Kree is a prankster, a little round the bend, and totally independent. She doesn’t need others to take care of her, but she’s always willing to lend a hand when needed. She’s a strong female, doesn’t feel the need to ask permission to be awesome, and can come off as a little haughty or intimidating; however, don’t let that fool you—she’s really just a sweetie and is incredibly easy to get along with, likable, and a real hoot to have around. She’s strong both in mind, body, and emotion. Although Kree isn’t the kind of young woman you’d see praying in a church, she’s also quite spiritual and down-to-earth, which can be accredited to the fact that her purpose of being put on this earth “again” is to guide a valorus soldier’s soul to his or her right place in heaven… even though she hasn’t found that person yet… which makes her drive go full-throttle. Her motto: no regrets, no mistakes, only extra chances to tell a doubter that ‘she told you so.’

Strengths: Physically, Kree is amazing and specialises in martial arts/hand-to-hand combat. This factor is probably her biggest strength, although her mindset of simply not throwing a pity party for herself when things go wrong—and she’s reminded of that fact often—so strength of mind is another asset going for her.

Interests/Habits: The first thing you need to know about Kree is to never call her by her first name, Lucretia (although the chance of knowing her full name is a high-spirited wish.) Second, Kree is a huge fan of physical sports, keeping up on what’s going on around her (whether it be world news, politics, weather, the state of the world, but mostly what’s going on with her friends’ emotions and if there’s anything she can do to help them, like beat up an ex-boyfriend or be a source for emotional venting). Third, she loves to dance. Not many people have beaten her in Dance-Dance revolution tournaments. Fourth and most obviously, Kree has a particular love for motorcycles (she hardly ever goes anywhere on foot). Her favourite T.V. show is American Choppers and knows that Paul Sr. will always whoop Paul Jr.’s butt any day.

===PERSONAL BACKGROUND===

Family Members: None living; she’s, like, 740 years old in all technicality. (See 'History' to make sense out of this nonsense.)
Place of Origin: Cashel, South Tipperary, Ireland
Current City: Steel City, USA
History: Lucretia J. Faulkner’s mortal past is not as important to this story as is her life after physical death; you see, Ireland during the 1200’s was miserable for the majority of the population, as the infamous Norman Invasion dictated the lives of so, so many people, especially the peasant-class who didn’t have any say and most often no means of resistance against the invading English bastards. Amongst these low-classed peasants and frequently plagued human beings were the Faulkner family who were descendants of English immigrants, thus placing them as English-Irish blooded conflicted family. The Faulkners were deeply religious and very adamant in keeping their family bloodline as prevalent as it was when the Faulkner family stepped foot on the beautiful island of Ireland. As a personal feud brewed and set seed amongst the members of the Faulkner family, brothers resorted to killing each other off swiftly, the triumphant siblings usually had been sided with the Norman invaders. Her family, in short, took itself out before the Normans could have their own bloodbath. Amongst the many casualties or “cannon fodder” was the second-eldest daughter, a deep-brunette with eyes the colour of dark pastures and a complexion paler than a cow’s hide with a feisty attitude which ultimately led to her early demise. On record and officially, Lucretia J. Faulkner was born in the year 1272 and died in the year 1289 (no month or date was recorded) which some historians believe played a significant part in her life when chosen to serve as a Valkyrie––an angle fabled to guide a warrior’s soul to a high place in heaven––due to the shared year of birth with the legendary Sir William Wallace (who many modern-day people know as “Braveheart”), an Irish rebel who fiercely fought English invasion and died as a martyr. Kree, now reincarnated as a saving angel, was tasked to a specific warrior who was due to die in battle in the year 1305 (the year when Sir William Wallace was executed) but had to find the fated soldier on her own. After many years of searching, Kree discovered that her hunch of being the angel assigned William Wallace was incorrect, and the real man had died long before this realisation, dooming Kree to be tied to the planes of mortal existence for the rest of eternity.

Skip ahead four-hundred eighty-seven years to the year of the signing of the United States of America’s Declaration of Independence. Kree had traveled to America after hearing the brutal news of Britain’s resistance against America’s freedom in a desperate search for a fallen soldier who might be able to replace the one she had let down. Also during this time, the once-angel and Valkyrie Lucretia J. Faulkner’s previously heavenly aura had been tainted by the weights of time to a literally inky-black colour, with her angelic white dress darkening to a deep and somber black, her wings were starting to molt into nothingness as her body became more and more mortal as time wore on (a consequence for her failure) and her homeland rolled father and farther away. This is the time span during which her title of “Valkyrie” was christened by the few mortals who claimed to have seen a demonic aura riding a black horse across the plains of many lands. In actuality, the alleged witnesses had seen a fleeing ghost of a once benevolent spirit being frightened away by the looming possibility of being killed; lore of Valkyries promised eternal life to a human who ate a Valkyrie’s heart, hence the logical reasoning behind Kree’s fear. However, Kree never found her soldier. Instead, she encountered enemy British soldiers who had also heard of this mysterious and mythical creature called “The Valkyrie,” or as she was commonly referred to as “The Black Rider,” (and later on “Ichaboda Crane” after the man who claimed to see a headless horseman and lived to tell the tale, Icabod Crane). Greedily and thoroughly seeking eternal life, four soldiers finally found and captured Kree, whose astral powers had diminished to mere clairvoyant sight, psychometry, and short-distance astral projection. Her retaliation was dramatic and strong, complicated, but ultimately ended in a gruesome decapitation, the failure to carve out her heart, and Kree’s close-call death, only prevented by the remaining little immortality she was bestowed as a Valkyrie. However, the chaos and confusion manifested during this tragedy prevented Kree the time to look for her head... and when she was finally able to return, her head was gone.

Skip two-hundred thirty-six more years to the present, year 2012. Alive only because she still had not fulfilled her duty to save a soldier, Lucretia has turned in her horse for a spiffy black motorcycle, traded despair for having lost her head for a custom collection of motorcycles to hide that fact, and her ambition to save a fallen warrior for a more realistic goal of keeping the peace and just living her life (well, lack of).

The ancient girl once know as “Lucretia J. Faulkner” was as prominent as the long-gone grave stones back in Ireland––in other words, non-existent––and the very real human still called “Valkyrie” rides the streets of Jump City, USA... while still squeezing in time to whip up a can of whoop-@ss on stupid thugs.
