Feeding: He needs to suck other's blood to survive. If he sucks enough of a person's blood to kill them, the one that is fed upon will become a minion of his own to control. The process of becoming a minion requires you to die and then come back. Once he feeds, he looks younger and more healthy.

Super Speed: He can move a lot faster than a normal person. Basically at the blink of an eye, he can move from one end of a block to the other. Demonically fast, but, if he hasn't fed in a long time, he is as fast as a normal human. Two days of no feeding takes away this power.

Super Strength: He has amazing strength. Strong enough to break bones but he cannot punch through a wall. Two days of no feeding takes away this power.

Shapeshifting: He can shapeshift into things that are considered to be 'creatures of the night'. The creatures of the night are wolves and large bats. He also has the ability to dissipate and become mist for a time. He cannot attack as mist and he can't be attacked. Two days of no feeding will take away this power as well.

Flight: He is above certain rules of the mortal world such as gravity.

Mind Control: He can completely control the weak minded. He can sway the minds of the strong minded. All superhumans are considered strong minded. He always has this power.

Eternal Youth: As long as he keeps feeding, he has eternal youth.

Negatives:

Paternal Inheritance: If a minion of his kills him, the minion gains all of the powers of the Vampire King.

Daylight Savings: The sun's rays burn his skin and if he stays in the sun for about one minute, he will turn to dust.

Holy Water: Long ago, a mage put a spell on all water blessed by a priest or member of a church. Once it is blessed, it will have similar effects on Vampires as the sun.

Rushing Water: Vampires cannot pass rushing water otherwise they will be turned into dust...another curse.

Crusifixes: Vampires get burnt by crusifixes. It is a terrible pain that is basically unimaginable to other people, it leaves terrible marks but doesn't kill...yet another curse.

Mirrors: He has no reflection because he is only half alive so only half of him is really here. This also goes for shadows...none of them!

Wooden Stakes: A surefire way to kill a vampire is to drive a wooden stake into their heart...good luck getting that close...

History:

Lord Rudolphus was born to a very rich Romanian family in 1487, before the new world was discovered. He was an evil boy, everyone could tell it from the minute he was born...there was something odd about him, but, he was not the first vampire. He found the only living vampire in a cave in the Romanian countryside, trying to hold onto life. It was easy for Rudolphus to kill him because he hadn't fed for years...

Rudolphus allowed him to feed on him and then killed him...becoming the only vampire in the world...king of himself. He tried to leave the cave, but couldn't because it was daytime. He waited...growing hungrier until nighttime. As a new vampire...he was very hungry...he flew as fast as possible to the Rudolphus mansion and killed his family...only feeding on them after they died to make sure that they wouldn't turn into vampires and follow him for all eternity...

Since then, he has convinced himself that he has fallen in love many times and taken seven vampire wives...all trying to win his affection above the others. He has forty minions...all weaker than him but, strong in their own right. He has decided to travel to America, where he can have more free souls to feed upon and to feed his family. He is traveling now...

^ I need you to put limits on these powers. Not so much the feeding one but the others I need to know the amounts he can lift, how fast he can do them etc... Also a bit of a back story wouldn't hurt.
