| Ok, so Jump City wasn't exactly panning out in the search for JaK's long lost brother. Well that had to be because it was too nice. David wasn't exactly the type you take to a nice restaurant/park/movie...or anywhere really... JaK walked up and down the streets of Steel City; the streets were dirtier than Jump City's, the stacks of factory fumes were so numerous and heavy they nearly blotted out the sky, and the people were rude, stand-offish, and generally fending for themselves. Was it bad that JaK felt right at home?
"It's like Gotham's half-sister had a baby," JaK smiled. "He's gotta be here." For the first time in a long time JaK had hope! Annnnnd then that hope was quickly extinguished when a guy on a moped sped by him and yanked his backpack from him off the side of his shoulder. JaK paused for a moment as he watched his assailant speed off. A deep sigh escaped his lips as he limbered up a bit and then took off in a mad dash after the thief. "You've got to be $^@&ing kidding me! I. Just. Got. Here!" JaK watched as the moped thief weaved in, out, and around cars who were caught in bumper to bumper traffic. However JaK was hot on his trail. "Yo, get back here with my bag!"

| Roxxanna waited with both irritation and a headache which were together, horrible company with one throwing vases, chairs and other shite at each other while calling each other names at the top of their lungs. Plus the sound of honking horns, and equally loud, rude people trying to get where they were going but of course there was a hold up but they only cared about the inconvenience. That was probably too critical for this early in the morning, but she needed a coffee which her partner was bringing her. "Waited long?" He smirked finally getting back to the squad car.
"Don'be actin'tha maggot wit'me this early after I was on'tha tear last night," Roxxy managed to say without growling and glaring daggers at him as she took her cup of coffee.
"One of these days I'll figure out what the hell you're saying, careful it's hot," he replied before taking his seat.
"No shite, yer codding me ain'ya?" Roxxanna's already limited patience finally broke for a brief moment before she felt just a little bad for snapping- if her partner hadn't given her a stupid grin. He realized how stupid that sounded and just took it on the chin like a champ. "Thanks anyway," she added going back to her coffee just as crime wasted no time in rearing its ugly head. "Hold my coffee," Roxxy told her partner, handing it to him as she quickly got out and broke into a mad dash after JaK AND the would-be thief. "Saying this just once ya chancer: kiss tha'pavement 'fore I get there and tackle you into it!" Roxxanna bellowed as she moved very quickly through the cars with the help of her cybernetic legs- was probably too early to be jumping on and denting cars...

| Now what in the hell was going on? JaK looked back after hearing an irish accent and saw some female robocop was chasing after him and the moped guy. "Just F*@ing great!" He said aloud as he decided to actually put an end to this chase. He needed to get to higher ground; JaK then lunged on to a dumpster and with the next step lunged up high enough to grab the bottom run of a fire escape, performed a clean pull over up onto the actual fire escape hatch itself, and began to run across window sills. Plants were knocked off the sides of people's apartment windows as JaK gained on the escaping moped who was having trouble weaving through traffic faster than JaK could hop scotch from window to window. Finally, when JaK felt he was in striking distance he lunged from the side of a window sill towards the thief and crashed into a bicyclist who had ridden right in between them at the most inopportune moment. The cyclist and JaK went tumbling to the floor with the cyclist rolling into the road in a daze as a car fast approached, unable to stop in time. Meanwhile, the moped thief continued to drive away cackling a JaK's failure. | |

| "Feckin'hell," Roxxy swore first after seeing JaK pull off some athletics in his pursuit of the bagman. Then he totally goofed it up when a cyclist got between him and his mark, sending said cyclist falling right into oncoming traffic. "Feckin'hell boyo!" she swore again, breaking off the chase to jump right into the car's path. She picked the stunned cyclist up like a rag doll, wrapping her arms around him before jumping right up and over the car as the driver swerved on reflex- it would've totally ran the cyclist over either way. One problem solved, the driver ending up on the sidewalk and into a street lamp was unavoidable really. Roxxy landed, sitting the cyclist down before locking eyes back in the direction of the moped. She was NOT about to let him get away- which meant it was time to start jumping on cars! "Don'get into more trouble yeah?" she said to JaK as she kicked off and shot high into the air, over the traffic after the moped.
She was only slightly lucky that the first car she landed on, was infact a truck which could take the weight crashing down on it better than like a taxi. "You an'tha pavement gonna get REAL intimate when I catch ya!" Roxxy bellowed again, propelling off the truck still in pursuit of the moped who after hearing how close she had landed was now sweating bullets- faintly swearing under his breath as Roxxy landed again. The second landing wasn't as smooth, due to it being cold and snowing and shite; she'd have banged up her elbow real good if that mattered. But now she had him in her sights and so broke into a made sprint again, not as restricted in how she moved through the cars as she moved out abit before throwing herself at him in an attempt to literally tackle him AND the moped into the ground- someone was getting pavement burn either way.

| The fleeing moped thief was finally caught and tackled to the floor off of his vehicle. He yelped as the heavy metal pressed him into the curb. However, soon after being apprehended the thief started to chuckle.
Moments earlier, JaK rubbed his head as the scalp where he had gashed his head open began to already coagulate and looked at the side of the road where he saw that one of the parked cars had an emblem of what seemed to be a peculiar symbol. It definitely wasn’t any motor company he recognized. In fact JaK suddenly realized that every single car in the area also had the same symbol. “Oh &;$?!...” What if this wasn’t a robbery but a gang initiation?!
Back at where the robo-she-cop was holding down the cackling thief, a bunch of boys and gals began getting out of their vehicles. Many sported face tattoos of the exact same symbol JaK had witnessed. There had to be about 15 perps in total. Many of the gang members were seen with weapons such as knives, brass knuckles, and even a slingshot?
“Aye he got a big fish?!” One of the boys said as they began crowding up to corner the cop.
“Yo, how much cred you think well get for pinching a pig?” Another hollered out.
“Aye aye aye, I bet those sock'em boppers catch a heavy price on the market.”

| Roxxanna had yet to notice these details, mostly on account of her trying to cuff the bag thief; but she couldn't help but notice that he started chuckling. Then people started piling out of their cars, some sporting identical face tattoos- a gang basically. This scene almost immediately made her think back to when one of the crime families whose men she beat to within an inch of their life came after her in her own home. But there was one very important detail- she was still pissed off from her hangover. "Oh now you gettin' me delira and excira. Threatenin'ah cop in broad daylight? Lethal force it is~" she quipped with a very nasty grin on her face, picking up her downed crook and with a spin on her heals, immediately hurled him at high velocity STRAIGHT at one of the approaching thugs.
"Roxxanna what's the situ-"
"Call an ambulance- but not for me. Fifteen gangsters," a radio message popped into her head, to which she messaged back quickly as she kicked off and rocketed straight to the next thug; boxer stance as she ducked under a punch and drove an uppercut straight to the gut, actually lifting him clear off his feet and aimed to send him flying at the mad lad with a slingshot. Slipping back into her boxer stance, she went for the next one; sticking to the edge of crooks so they couldn't easily surround her and start mobbing her.

| Steel's sky, perpetually overcast due to a combination of pollutant gases and winter clouds, crackled with lightning. The brief flash cast a flickering light on the Swallow for a fleeting moment, showing her perched beside a gargoyle high up in the nearest scraper to the enfolding scene. Enshrouded in a cloak, the Swallow's all-penetrating green eyes took the whole fiasco down below in with perfect clarity regardless of the general darkness of the city. A kid about her age, and a police officer, the latter a strong-one. She had seen the elder on television once or twice. While Simca preferred to operate undetected, this one was apparently Steel's 'public' heroine. "Overconfident, reckless, naive," Simca opined. Simca had been in Steel for not too long and yet, she had felt more at home here than anywhere else. It was strange; she knew each street. She instinctively knew of the delicate balance this city held. She knew the buttons to press, the dungeons and their masters, the crimelords and their majordomos. It was as if she had lived here for years, and her dreams had intensified since she had moved here. So when she saw her city's delicate balance being disrupted, needless to say, she was not impressed. Not handled with tact, and she'd have another gang war on her hands by Wednesday. First rule of Steel City: never follow a pup back to the den. How these two be this naive? She had to make sure none of these gangbangers lived to tell the tale. Figuratively speaking of course. Another crackle of lightning and Simca descended, flipping  from the very top of the decaying scraper before angling her body into a dive straight down. Reaching almost near the ground, she flipped again in the air, stomped her feet down on said air below and launched herself at the gangbangers immediately surrounding Chancer and Sage. Flic-flaking behind two of the gangbangers, Simca immediately made short work of them with calculated palm strikes at precise pressure points. Her prey instinct resounded, and she narrowly avoided a crowbar from a third, before kicking him in the wind pipe followed followed by swift flip and sinking her other heel into his solar plexus, sending him tumbling back screaming and bumping into a fourth one near JaK's position. With seamless footwork and the aid of her prey instinct, the cloaked and hooded Swallow circled around the three more approaching from behind her; precise timed kicks into their popliteal fossae and they were on the ground in an instant. Shining green eyes would be visible beneath the shadows of her cloak, momentarily baking Roxxy and JaK with a harrowing jade glare. "Stop messing around in my city," she hissed at them, before pulling a sideward Salto and double-poking a gangbanger in the eyes; then picking him up by the scruff of his jacket and shoving him into the one behind him. Nine down.

| JaK wobbled over towards where the other two were fighting - his body still healing from the 13-foot fall. He arrived just in time to side-step out of the way of a young boy that was launched in his direction. JaK's hunch was right it would seem. The entire thing was a set-up, and the robot cop was the victim...well she didn't look like much of a mark actually. She and the other girl were cleaning the entire alley way of gang bangers with expertise and skill - the hits were clean and chosen to subdue the opponent without maiming them for life.
That's when things went from bad to Steel City norms. Two canopied low-riders pulled up with five people each inside and all of them were sporting some sort of firearm. The windshields of each low-rider said "East Side Gunz." The doors popped open and JaK knew exactly what was going to happen next if he didn't act. JaK reached down and grabbed a manhole covering with one hand and with surprising strength and swiftness he lifted it up, momentarily took a disc throwers pose, spun in a circle, and launched the manhole cover into the door of the first car. The manhole covering lodged itself into the car door and jammed it shut. The gang members screamed out angrily as they tried to kick the door open with no luck.
Next. JaK took a runners pose then sprinted towards the second car and drop kicked it closed just as one of the gang members were about to get out, aim, and fire. The gang members tried to open the door again which JaK kicked back shut. Then another unsavory passenger stuck his head out of the window and pointed a pistol at the two females which JaK quickly wrenched from his hand and bludgeoned him with it. JaK looked over the hood at another gang member who was trying to get out of the car on the other side and tossed the weapon like soft ball at her. The East Side Gun was knocked to the ground before she could take aim at JaK.
JaK deduced the situation quickly with what little information he had; the original 15 bad boys and girls were gang initiates while this back-up cavalry were actual members, who originally were only going to observe, but now were joining in. This was one hell of a welcome to the city for Sage in any case.

| One of the femme fatales may have been trying to avoid maiming them- and it wasn't the one with metal limbs. To her credit, Roxxanna had already gone through this kind of scenario once, and was atleast trying to avoid outright killing them- but she so easily could with her cybernetics. With her own fancy footwork, she reached a third initiate who tried to swing a metal bat at her; only to have it caught with one hand as another crashed into his gut. She then ripped the bat and clubbed him on the back with it. "Wuz thinkin'ah thankin'ya. But lookit you and yer hoppin'round. Does tha'tude come standard ya holy joe? OI! I ain' done wit'ya manky moran!" Roxxanna retorted to the Vigilante that she had never even seen before now- fecking capes think they ran the show. Her yelling was toward the one initiate who after seeing what the new arrival did to most of his friends, tried to make a break for it. But Roxxanna pulled out her energy pistol, took aim with the aid of some of her other cybernetics and plugged an energy shot at the base of his spine- if that had been a bullet he'd never walk again. There was one other one if math was taken into account, but they likewise had a deaftist attitude once most of their friends had been effortlessly taken down in seconds- but they just got on the ground and played dead.
She had become aware of the other arriving, actual gang members but also noted that one kid who ate the pavement earlier (had no idea how he managed to get back up) was keeping them busy for a moment. "C'mon then mot, show this civil servant'ow it's done," Roxxanna sassed Simca good naturedly as she started firing off shots at the car JaK was by- basically just giving him covering fire so he didn't end up swiss cheese. But her energy pistol would probably eat through part of the car with enough damage.
"Roxxy, no one else is responding on the radio but I'm on my way," her partner radioed in.
"Nah nah, dun'worry about it. I already got some back up- some dosser in spandex and powers and boyo from earlier,"" Roxxy mentally messaged back, in the middle of reloading when a goon FINALLY managed to get a shot off at her- hitting one of her metal shoulders which didn't seem to do much more than annoy her. Man it was nice not having fleshy arms- because she felt that one! Roxxy reloaded and kicked off to jump into the fray again; her hatred of gangsters aside, she wasn't goin to hang back while the other two were in the thick of it.

| Simca merely scowled as the gynecoid police officer began to spout sass at her, some of which she could not even properly understand due to the woman's thick accent. Shaking her head, she instead watched as the younger boy whom she had ignored earlier began to assist them against the newly arriving cavalry.
"C'mon then mot, show this civil servant'ow it's done," the robot cop teased her, and Simca smirked beneath her hood.
"Hold that thought."
Simca ducked as shots were fired - Roxxie may have been bullet proof, but she was not. Flipping into a sideways handspring, she kicked the air beneath her twice and propelled herself straight through it towards the car. As Jak incapacitated the Gunz in one of the cars, the Cloaked Bird landed with a flip atop the first one, the one whose door had been stuck shut by the manhole the Boy had thrown.
Simca punched through the windshield beneath her and double-poked one of the gangsters straight in the eyes, leading him to scream like a little girl. His companion in passenger seat attempted to take aim and fire but Simca rolled backwards and then kicked into the car, her beyond-perfect eyesight allowing her to strike the pressure point beneath the man's wrist with the point of her heel, causing him to drop the gun.
Simca then raised her leg and, using her foot against his head, pushed the passenger-gangbanger's head straight against the head of the screaming, blinded driver-gangster. The two were quickly out like a light.
Of course, by now, the third one, in the backseat, who also had a bazooka, was out of the car and taking aim at Simca. Simca flipped and thrust both of her heels into the Gunz's face, knocking him down on the road as she now stood upright with her heels buried into his bleeding face.
Seeing more of their kind approaching, Simca quickly picked up the downed and loaded bazooka. Still walking on top of the fallen gangster like he was a door mat, elliciting multiple grunts from the guy, Simca took aim at the road just ahead of the arriving Gunz cars, her bird's eye view never failing her in marksmanship.
She then fired the bazooka.
The resulting debris from the road and pavement which shot up into the air blanketed the entire area in clouds of thick dust and pulverized pavement, effectively stopping the advance of what she assumed to be the last of the Gunz and halting them from coming any closer. Simca, however, because of her clarity of vision, could see clearly even through the dense fog.
One by one, the bird began pecking through the disoriented and confused remnants of the East Side Gunz like the worms they were.

| JaK had to enter try hard mode after the convertible roof of the classic Chevy impala reclined and the gang-bangers all stood up and started to shoot at all of the heroes. JaK was quick to move out of the way of their aim however and also received cover fire from the Irish robo-cop. JaK lunged on top of the vehicle now that the hood was down and elbowed a thug before he could get a shot off, redirected a knife stab attempt from the second gangster into the shoulder of the one he had just elbowed causing him to scream out, and then hip tossed the knife wielding assailant out of the vehicle by his wrist.
During the fight sequence JaK had noticed the third gangster had got a shot off cleanly at the steel city cop but she was unfazed due to her built in armor. He also saw the rando-heroine had beat the all living hell out of the other vehicle's passengers all on her own and had begun to work on a third vehicle of East-Side Gunnerz. The last perp who had taken a shot at Roxxy JaK had left on purpose. The gangster fell backwards out of the car and pulled out another clip for his weapon. His hand was shaking as he reloaded it and pointed his gun at JaK. He creeped backwards while looking around and saw that these three had successfully taken out 25 men and women. JaK hopped out of the car and walked over towards him.
"S-S-Stop I'll D-Do It!" The East Side Gunz member screamed. JaK continued walking, grabbed his weapon, and pointed it into his own other open palm.
"Fight's over guy," JaK pulled the trigger for the nervous criminal and shot the gun off. The bullet ripped through JaK's hand as if it were paper and then as JaK showed him the hole in his palm - the skin had immediately began to coagulate in addition to the skin growing back in and around the wound. "unless you wanna keep going?"
The gangster's eyes nearly popped from their sockets as he dropped the weapon and laid down flat with his hands behind his back. "&^#$ this! I shoulda stayed at Yale."
"Definitely," JaK said as he stood up and turned to the Irish woman. "Thanks for getting my bag back, I'll trade you an informant for it. Pretty sure he's ready to comply."

| This went swimmingly, and confident or not, Roxxy did not want to test just how may bullets it'd take to overwhelm her little nanobots- was that a bazooka? She didn't even need to get her metal hands any dirtier, they both sorted the rest of them out no problem- and the spandex didn't let up on the brutality. While not a crooked cop, Roxxy was quite heavy handed when it came to gangsters for obvious reasons- she'd probably have been tempted to just SHOOT the car. "Now tha'was fierce. Didn' know we'ad a cape again- good thin'I keep spares on me," Roxxy whistled with appreciation at their handiwork. She noted how JaK... more or less showed off by shooting his hand, only for it to regenerate. So that's how he got up after hitting the pavement- nanobots? Nah, that was too clean; but she was just basing that off her nanobots' performance.
"Ey Rick, you still listenin?- and this goes for all you Dossers listenin'in: You an'I are gonna have words- and ya better be thinkin'up some perfect alibis for Internal Affairs after I get back. But 'fore that- SEND ME A GOD DAMN TRUCK FOR ALL THESE GUNZ GANGBANGERS! Also Rick, I'mma need a fresh coffee, thanks," she mentally blared over the radio for a moment before she resumed handcuffing the still conscious thugs.
"If yer stickin'round Mot we can have a chat- you too boyo. Anyways, no problem about the bag. I'm guessin'yer new around these parts, otherwise I doubt you'd have been that easy of a mark. What's yer names? People just call me Roxxy for short," Roxxy asked curiously before introducing hersef, taking a moment to check the damage to her shoulder- cheap ballistics it looked like. She'd still have to get that bullet out later...

| Gggggoooood Mooorning! Steeeeeel cittttyyy!! BANG! Did the steel city panzer care if it was morning or not? No. Not really. But the sound of an explosion and the voices, especially one familiar voice, sung to her like a siren's song. "Eyyy hamhands, I thought I recognized that brogue accent. Also did I just miss a fight? I missed a fight, didn't I? ...Are those the ES Gunz? A portion of them?" She inquired to Roxxy as she dusted herself off, from the ankle deep impact crater she left in her wake.
Before looking around and eyeballing Jak, then the chick with the Bazooka. "Who're these people? Tourists?" Before idly meandering over to Jak and looking down at him with a grin. "Though you look like a local, could be a local. You a local?" She quirked her brow as she scratched at the side of her head with a metallic finger, attached to a metallic hand, attached to a Heavy duty looking metallic arm. It's mirror duplicate, was fishing through her pockets, pulling out a black anarchy zippo lighter and a cigarette from within as she stuck the filter between her lips and with a quick motion, flicked open the lighter, lit the flame and pulled in a lungful of smoke, all with a satisfyingly crisp snap as she flicked the zippo shut.
"Anyways, nice to meet'cha, you can call me Abby. Mr.....?" It was pretty much pure curiosity at this point. She'd forgotten about Roxxy. For one, it wasn't a tuesday she was pretty sure, and two, these people were new. New meant interesting, and interesting meant potential for fun, as a pair of lips curled into a happy little smile that leaked smoke, before she exhaled a pluming trail of smoke into the air; extended her free hand, and offered him a handshake.
