«««SKILL SET»»»
Main Power Origins: Magic curse
PowersImmortality- Most of the things that would normally kill any other human will only knock Travis unconscious for a time. While he can be permanently injured, death does not seem like a possibility for him.*
SUB
-resistant to poison- Travis has a resistance to poison and toxins. They will slow him down, and even knock him out, but won't kill him. Tranquilizers and sedatives have to be given in twice the recommended dosage for him as the curse seems to burn the drugs out of his system.
-blood bank- he doesn't seem to die from bleeding out, so being shot and stabbed have not yet worked. Though they still hurt badly and he may pass out or go into a 'temporary death' state. This has lead to an awkward encounter at a morgue once or twice.
Set back to immortality- While he is immortal, he is not forever youthful. His soul is living on in an aging and decaying body which he suspects one day will be no more than a skeleton. He does not look forward to that day.
*(there are ways to kill him, he just hasn't tried to find those ways)
SkillsLooking like the walking dead has not earned Travis many friends and has taught him how to avoid unwanted attention. Even for a man his age he is amazingly good at getting around.
He has watched this city grow and seen where the good and the bad hide, which has allowed him to avoid places that would attract attention, or form small connections with lower level people on both sides.
Being 240 something isn't exactly going to be believable on a birth certificate or state ID, so he has learned where he can get false documents to cover up being older than the average citizen.
He is exceptionally good at puzzles and riddles.
Physical WeaknessesHe's a light weight, scrawny old guy. While he's not as fragile as the typical elderly guy, he still won't be winning any fist fights. He is also blind on his right side. Continues to become weaker with age, since his body is literally rotting away from his bones as he lives on.
Mental WeaknessesIn all honesty, he has a slight death wish. Immortality is not what he thought it would be, and he wants nothing more than to find the creature who gave him this curse and have it lifted. He also has a terrible fear of roaches.
EquipmentHe has a small booklet filled with information of the creature that gave him the curse and places he has tried to track it too. Most people may find it to be the scribblings of a mad man though or some fantasy tale. He also has an address booklet that he has filled with useful contact numbers of people he has found that are useful to him.
He wears a dull red scarf at all times, and wears baggy, loose fitting clothing to hide his ghoulish appearance.
«««CEREBRAL PROFILE»»»
PersonalityReserved and careful, Travis doesn't trust many people easily. He has been chased out of towns and cities before and seen the ugly side of humans many times over. He doesn't wish to make friends though does find the eternal life he lives incredibly boring. It was not what he had thought it would be and he feels incredibly alone in his life now.
«««PERSONAL BACKGROUND»»»
Family Members: All family members have long since died
Place of Origin: Boston, New York
HistoryTravis had been so eager to explore some ruins deep in the Amazon. It was supposedly untouched since it had been abandoned thousands of years ago and who knew what would be found inside.
Well, he certainly would never had guessed a strange creature, bound by a heavy chain in a large room deep within. It promised that if freed, it would grant Travis a single wish. Travis freed the creature and when asked what his wish was, he replied that he only wanted to live forever so he could continue studying ruins and history.
When the wish was granted, the creature disappeared.
As the years continued, Travis began to doubt that the wish had worked as his body continued to age, that was until he was attacked and suffered a severe wound to his head that should have left him dead. However, he woke up again in the morning with a considerable headache. And the sound of a mortician screaming since Travis had been deemed dead earlier at the scene of the attack. His wounds had healed, though his right eye has never been completely the same as it was before. As time continued to go on, it got worse. He aged past the life span of his friends, which he came to expect, and still his body aged, looking more and more like a feeble and feebler old man. Until he began to realize that his body was actually beginning to fail and die without him. Rotting away while he still lived, becoming a walking corpse. This of course did not settle right with the townsfolk who lived around him as they began to catch onto his ghoulish appearance and soon chased him out of town. He now cannot peacefully live anywhere, and yet cannot die either.

Travis sighed as he looked down at his notebook, full of what most would describe as conspiracy theories and string maps. He was sure that he had tracked that djinn like creature to this part of the map, but as he looked around he began to realize that there was little hope of finding that monster here. What reason would it have to be in a city like this anyway? Unless it made its living off granting half broken wishes to unsuspecting victims then, in that case, this would be a good location. He closed the notebook and shoved it into his pocket with his skeletal hand, while using his other hand to wrap his scarf around his face as he walked out to join the herds of people walking through the city.
He had hoped to watch the cities and towns grow in front of him, but he could never have guessed how they would have grown and changed, and how many super powered people seemed to come out of the wood work. He paused as that thought crossed his mind. Maybe... maybe he wasn't so far off. That creature might actually be here and it could be granting wishes for powers or something in this very city! With that thought he pulled out the notebook again and began flipping through the pages again, ignoring the gasps and mutterings around him as people saw his decaying arm. "I may just be on the right track after all, finally!" he said as he smiled to himself.
((Not sure if this is an ok power, but I don't plan on using him as a fighter but more as a way to test where the site is now and see where things are now with out using the same characters again))
