Powers
Nanosystems (main): Instead of blood or oil like most robots and humans, Ren has nanomachines that mimic various parts of the human body and are used to assist him in fighting crime.



Armor regeneration: Taking damage as a superhero is unavoidable; it's not a matter of if but when. Knowing this, the Nanosystems can repair the outer bodies' carbon fiber if minorly or moderately damaged to cut down on repair time or assist in heavy combat. However, the repair depends on the damage done and how extensive this can take anywhere from 5 minutes to five hours; however, it can't do much for a significant injury that would require medical attention.

durability: due to his carbon steel body and ballistic fiber muscular system, Ren is highly durable and bullet resistant able to shrug off most small arms weapons fire. however concentrated fire over long term engagements could prove fatal

Enhanced Targeting: outside of his usual firearms training, the Nanosystems advanced processing power allows for split-second thinking and processing the environment allowing for quicker reaction time instead of his slower movements in close quarters

Abilities

Fule conversion: due to the physical need and energy that these systems cause and electrical charging stations aren't anywhere to be found. The nanosystems can convert food and drink into useable energy to supplement and replace the need for long term recharges.

Audio adaption: the ability to quickly translate speech from one language to another as long as he listens to it for a few hours allows him to learn a new language quicker than most humans.  

Naturally Intimidating: due to how his appearance and Facial features, he often unintentionally scares people and children.

Complex memories: Do to the nanomachines making up mimic versions of the human body, his brain is no different. However, unlike the human mind, his ability to store vast amounts of info into each nanomachine and call on these memories will be advantageous.

Physical Weaknesses
He has to say away from high fiber foods, or it will gum up his systems and cause health problems. Just because he's bullet-resistant doesn't mean he's bulletproof firing enough rounds downrange will bring him down. Computer viruses vary and cause symptoms like the common cold or deadlier sicknesses, depending on the computer virus.


Mental Weaknesses
It is hot-headed and can jump from one extreme to another (happiness, anger, sadness, etc.).  Ren can be easily distracted. By the promise of food. suffers from a form of anosognosia that ties to his Hot-headed mood swings like nature similar to bipolar disorder

Personality
Despite being a machine or android, he's often confused for being a heavily cyberized human. Having what could best be described as a form of bipolar disorder due to having little control of his emotional range going from kind friendly and sort of a smartass to rage-filled hothead. Often feeling lonely due to his intimidating appearance that can cause a few misunderstandings. Those he can make friends with he cherishes closely putting them above himself and can often be reckless if put into a situation where his friends were in danger.

History

Ren was created as part of an experiment between Dr. Pine and Professor Spruce. The two wanted to see if they could create a superhero that could be human in most ways while also fighting crime alongside other superheroes. After going threw various renditions Like the Scarecrows 1-3, which were a bit too military-like and not as agile as they would have liked, they finally got it down when they developed the Nanosystem. A complex liquid of nanomachines fed threw carbon nanotubes and biomechanical engines that mimicked the nervous and vascular systems and the brain and heart. With this as the base, they built Ren's body around it. Using ballistic fiber as muscles and a small layer for skin and carbon steel as bones and plating over the skin. The two minds a doctor and a scientist, technically parents of their creation. Had succeeded. Their work toom them about 20 years, and a bit of their edgy young adultness showed threw when they named their sentient Android Ren as it was short for Renegade.  


Initially, the funding that was used was from the two of them, but as time went off, they had to ask for help from the military. Since supers in the military were still a grey area and a playing field for many controversies, they took up the twos offer, and when Ren was Officially finished, the military came to collect their dues. Serving in the armed forces for a few conflicts did show that Ren was capable and proved that the promises made to the military on what he's capable of definitely bore fruit. However, much of this line of work took a toll on Ren as he began developing a conscious. When his service to Uncle Sam was over, he was given his citizenship like other Cyborg and robotic heroes.

Currently, Ren lives in an apartment squat, Ocaisonally taking high-paying merc jobs to pay for rent and food, often taking phone calls from his parents, and talking about hoping to one day make friends with some of the superheroes big shots out there.  




Ren Stands in line of the airport listening to the planes take off as the drone of the TSA calling "next!" nearly putting him to sleep.
Just a moment ago, he was on the phone with a few heroes giving him his chance to help fight crime. However, here he is waiting at the airport to take a plane out there. Finally, stepping threw the metal detector without thinking it goes off.
Okay, buddy, please remove any metal belongings from your person." the slight. buzzing in his head from the detectors magnets giving him a mild headache didn't help him as he raised his voice. "really the man I'm made of metal and I need to go, or I'll miss my flight to help fight crime."

The man spoke something into his talkie on his chest along the lines of 'im going to need assistance' as he rested his hand on his gunbelt.
"oh come on, man, are you serious right now?" all Ren could think was he should have just drove.
