The most wonderful time of the year! (HB)

As 'Santa' returned his taunt with a aggravated glower, Taz stuck his tongue out at him. As their snowy foe started forming a much more blunt response, however, the young halfling dropped his mocking in favor of giving a concerned gulp. As the fists started hammering into him, Taz swerved to the side, trying to cover his face with his arms. Going 'ow' repeatedly at the barrage of impacts, he gave a soft growl in frustration as he staggered and nearly fell over, only saving himself from forcefully burrowing into another snowdrift with some high speed hopping. Oh, he was definitely tired of this guy! Peeking past one of his arms, Taz aimed the other towards the snowdeer, hand crackling as he got ready to start flinging lightning bolts at them.

Unfortunately for him, someone was moving some large boxes, and he was too distracted by his efforts to deal with 'Santa' to notice the flat trailer's ramp until he was racing up it. It, and his own momentum, launched him into the air, and he suddenly found himself flying.
"AAAAAAH!" Flailing around in surprise, Taz managed to gain some measure of focus, and took a few (somewhat panicked) potshots at the snowdeer in a hopeful effort to hit at least one of them, if not two. That done, he then began trying to recover from his surprise lesson in flight before he hit the ground.

Beast Boy flew to gain a literal birds eye view of the battle between Taz and 'Santa' as it was unfolding, and it wasn't looking good for Taz. He was getting pelted hard by the snow fists, which distracted him enough that he accidentally launched himself into the air! While he was falling he apparently decided to make the most of a bad situation and fired some shots at the snow reindeer, hitting two of them and causing them to burst.

Before Taz would hit the ground Beast Boy would fly by as a Pteranodon and catch him. He would then fly steadily over the sled, giving Taz opportunity to fire more shots while 'Santa' was distracted trying to deal with losing some of his deer.

Taz grimaced as the snow laden road approached, and his legs worked as if he were trying to rev himself back up to enough speed to resist what would be a, at the very least, uncomfortable impact.  That said, the young halfling wasn't having much luck in that, due to both the nature of his current state and the fact that his all temporary flight had come as a surprise. Fortunately, Beast Boy was there to help, and help he did. As his ally scooped him up before he hit frigid pavement, Taz first blinked in surprise,glancing around, than gave a exhilarated whoop driven from both excitement and relief. "Thank you!"

After giving Beast Boy a pat in gratitude, he turned his attention back to their thieving foe. He raised his hands, and the air around them hummed as lightning crackled around his fingers. Once again he'd begin slinging out lightning bolts towards the snowdeer, hoping to slow the villian's sleigh down even further by taking out more of his horse (or, rather, deer) power.

Beast Boy grabbed Taz out of the air as a Pteranodon, preventing the young halfling from making an ugly landing. Taz then gave out a whoop of excitement and thanked Beast Boy, a gesture that would have made Beast Boy smile were it not for the fact that currently he had a beak and not a mouth. For the same reason he didn't say anything in response, he just stabilised his flight so that Taz would get a clear shot at the snow reindeer.

As Taz shot the deer they would burst, not unlike the way a snowball bursts when it hits something, and with each deer slain the sleigh would slow down a bit. 'Santa' cursed as he noticed it happen but there was nothing he could really do about it, the attacks he threw up at the duo either missed completely or were very easily avoidable.

Eventually all the reindeer were taken out and the sleigh slowly grinded to a halt. At the same time Taz would notice that Beast Boy was slowly descending, eventually dropping Taz off on the ground near where the sleigh halted. Beast Boy transformed back into his human form and sat on the snow-laden ground, panting "Sorry dude, all that flying around while carrying people tires a guy out."

Meanwhile 'Santa' cursed and hopped out of his sleigh, slipping on ice as he landed on the ground and falling down onto his butt. He started cursing up a storm while making his way back to his feet "You stupid kids! Why are you getting in my f****** way anyway!?! You can use your powers whenever you want, but I can only use mine when it snows! Why shouldn't I get to take advantage of this miracle weather!?!"

While he was ranting the sleigh he had made out of snow was reforming into a giant hand the size of a large car. With a yell he thrust his palm forwards and the snow hand flew over to the duo, trying to grab Beast Boy.

The bolts crackled as they flew through the air, as the pair steadily  ground down the redclad villian's forces. Noticing their foe's frustration, Taz couldn't help but stick his tongue out at him as he continued destroying the snowdeer.  He gave a victorious whoop as the last deer popped into a flurry of snowflakes, punching the air. Noticing that they were slowly approaching the ground, Taz blinked, glancing around.

As he was dropped off, Taz glanced warily at 'Santa', making sure their opponent wasn't going to pull anything funny,then glanced at BB as the other boy transformed back into his human form and sat down wearily.  Giving him a reassuring smile as BB apologized, Taz nodded and patted him on the shoulder. "It is well! Thank you again, Beast Boy." He smiled sheepishly, adding on. "Landing by myself...would not be?.... would not be pleasant."

Noticing 'Santa's' mishap, Taz couldn't help but give a light laugh, though the felonious foe's vocal unpleasantness caused his eyes to widen. As 'Santa' ranted angrily at them, Taz's eyes narrowed, and he barked out a retort. "Because you're mean, and a thief!" Noticing the grasping hand rocketing towards Beast Boy, Taz yelled out a warning. "Look out!"  Rushing forward, he tried to push his ally out  of harms way.

Taz thanked Beast Boy for his aerial support with a pat on the shoulder and a smile, which Beast Boy returned. The young heroes then listened as 'Santa' started ranting angrily about the unfortunate nature of his powers and asking why they're stopping him. Taz responded by calling him mean and pointing out that he's a thief, which made Beast Boy laugh.

Aparently 'Santa' didn't find the boy's reaction very funny, a view which he expressed by trying to grab Beast Boy with a giant hand made out of snow. Beast Boy cried out and began to scramble to his feet, but it was clear he would be too slow to act. At the last moment Taz managed to push the young shapeshifter out of the way, sending Beast Boy sprawling away. However, doing so left Taz vulnerable to being grabbed instead "No!!"

Taz gave a quick, small smile as Beast Boy laughed at the young sparkslinger's response to 'Santa's' tantrum, but then turned his attention back onto their foe, eyes narrowing again. Unfortunately, the bank robber had a rebuttal for Taz's rebuke and Beast Boy's laughter on hand, and he quickly made use of it.  Taz managed to push his ally out of the way, and had just enough time to give a relieved sigh as he succeeded. Unfortunately, he had exchanged Beast Boy's safety for his own. As he saw the hand approaching him, Taz tried to leap back out of the way of the snowy grasp, but acted too late and gave out a shout as he was trapped within the hand. "Aaah!" He attempted to struggle out of the icy grip, but wasn't seeming to have much luck. (Though, granted, that was probably to be expected, considering his size and what amount of strength he could bring to bear.)

'Santa' let out a loud maniacal laugh when he managed to grab Taz, out of the two heroes Taz had been a far greater thorn in his side. He raised his right hand and as he did so the hand of snow that was holding Taz raised as well, the expression on his face told Beast Boy that whatever he'd had planned for Taz was not good.

Beast Boy opted to not find out what this 'not good' thing was and instead morphed into a bird and flew over to 'Santa'. The Christmas-themed villain tried to keep him at bay, but with only one hand free and no longer having the advantage of being in a moving vehicle to maintain distance he wasn't able to form an obstacle in time to stop Beast Boy's approach. As Beast Boy shifted into a bear 'Santa' had no choice but to release his hold on Taz to raise a wall of snow to block Beast Boy's assault "Damn it!"

Not having much luck with his struggles, Taz halted for a second and gave a frustrated sigh, shivering slightly as the cold of massed snow started seeping it's way through his coat. As their foe let out a demented laugh in victory, the young shockslinger glanced over, scowling, only for his eyes to widen as the snow surrounding him rose into the air and taking him with it. He tried to wriggle out of the chilly grip again, only to give a nervous frown as he still yet failed to escape. This wasn't looking good...He wasn't sure what this  thief and... bully had in mind, but he definitely got the feeling it wouldn't be pleasant, especially with that mean look on his face.

Thankfully, he still had a friend in this fight, and Beast Boy was ready and willing to stop the robber from taking his anger out on Taz.  As 'Santa' released Taz with a curse and desperately tried to keep Beast Boy from taking him on,  the young halfling landed with a soft oof. Clambering back upon his feet, he gave a sigh of relief upon realizing that he was free. That said, he also spared a quick wince upon realizing that he was still cold from being trapped in was essentially a snowboulder. He was definitely snagging all the covers he could find when he got back home. Taz then glanced over at the other two, taking in what was happening.

Rushing over, if slightly stiffly, to stand beside Beast Boy, he'd spare a quick second to glance up at the now much bigger teen and give a grateful nod.  "Thank you!"  As his forearms started crackling and humming with building up electricity, Taz turned his attention back to the wall. He raised his hands, pointing them at their obstacle, then got ready to carve away at the snowy blockade with more lightning bolts.

Beast Boy's assault on 'Santa' had forced the festive supervillain to let Taz go to defend himself, freeing the young speedster. Beast Boy's advance was stopped in its tracks by a wall of snow erected by the villain, but the solution to this problem ran up to stand beside Beast Boy and gave him a nod, which Beast Boy returned as best he could.

As Taz blasted down the wall Beast Boy charged through, barrelling towards 'Santa' who was using the time he had bought himself to run away. Without his sleigh 'Santa', whose belly was big enough to pass for the real thing, could not hope to outrun a bear, let alone a speedster. Upon realising that Beast Boy was upon him the villain began to pelt Beast Boy with attacks, managing to fend off the plant coloured bear.

However, in his panic 'Santa' had developed slight tunnel vision and was only focusing on Beast Boy, a perfectly natural reaction to being chased by a bear in his defence, and had lost track of Taz. He had no idea where the boy was, and was completely vulnerable to a surprise attack.

Taz gave a small smile as Beast Boy returned his nod, then started blasting down the wall. As he made a entry for his shapeshifting ally, Taz stepped out of the way as the green hero charged at the frosty felon, and started following after, only to witness 'Santa' begin pelting Beast Boy with volleys of snow. Eyes narrowing as he considered on how to help, Taz changed course after a few seconds thought, darting into a nearby alleyway.

Unfortunately for 'Santa', a surprise attack was exactly was he was going to get. A certain young speedster had taken advantage of his panicked focus on the, admittedly, more intimidating hero to come at him from another angle, and Taz blasted out from a alleyway near the coldhearted crook. Though he wasn't up to superspeed level, he had still put on a decent turn of speed from racing through the alleyways, and as he leaped up Taz quickly transferred that speed into momentum. Curling up and rolling though the air, he'd attempt to cannonball into 'Santa' in a attempt to knock him off balance.

As Taz came out of the alleyway to dash at 'Santa' the red-clothed supervillain did not notice his approach, more focused on the green bear in front of him. As a result he was not able to defend himself in time when Taz did his best Sonic the Hedgehog impression and rammed into him while curled up into a ball, knocking the old man over. 'Santa' cursed like a sailor as he went down, hitting the snow-laden ground with a muffled impact.

Beast Boy took advantage of the opportunity and pounced, straddling 'Santa' so that he was pinned to the ground underneath the weight of a bear. The green titan then leaned in so that his snout was right in 'Santa's face and let out a mighty bellow. 'Santa' didn't even scream, he just passed out with his eyes rolled back.

Beast Boy stood off of the man and reverted to his human form, a satisfied grin on his face as he panted in exhaustion. He turned to Taz and didn't say anything, just held his hand out for a high five.

As Taz slammed into 'Santa', knocking the frosty felon over, he bounced off. Unrolling, Taz landed feet force and skidded backwards a few inches on the snow. The young speedster almost pulled off a (quite literal) cool landing, but he teetered over and flopped backwards onto the snowy ground with a oof and wince. His eyes widened at the rampant cursing pouring off of 'Santa', and he started to raise a sparking hand to ward off any attempts at revenge, but Beast Boy finished the fight with a fierce roar.

As the crook passed out, Taz blinked, then whooped and hopped back up, bouncing excitedly on his feet. He'd taken down a bad guy!! Or helped, rather, but still! They'd stopped a villain from doing bad things, and he helped! Ally was going to be proud, he knew it! (And hopefully Mom and Dad would be too, if he ever got to tell them about it.) Taz grinned back at Beast Boy, only to blink and tilt his head slightly at the gesture.

Beast Boy held his hand up for a high five with a smile while Taz stared at him blankly. After a few seconds the Titan's smile would waver and his hand would lower slightly. After a few seconds he realised that Taz probably didn't recognise the gesture, either that or he was leaving him hanging on purpose. Beast Boy chose to assume the former and lowered his hand "Good going, dude!"

Beast Boy then turned back to 'Santa's unconscious figure "Guess we'll just have to tie him up and leave, stupid DOMA." He grabbed 'Santa' and started dragging him over to a fire hydrant to tie him to. As he did he noticed that below the spot where the villain had passed out some of the snow was yellow. Seems like Beast Boy scared him a bit too much.

Soon 'Santa' was tied up, leaving Beast Boy dusting off his hands while admiring his good work. The Young Titan would turn to face Taz with a grin "Thanks a bunch, but we should probably split."

Noticing the way that Beast Boy's smile wavered, Taz's brows furrowed slightly in concern. As his green ally lowered his hand, the young halfing gave him a apologetic look. Should he have mimicked the other boy's gesture? It had seemed a little familiar...Next time he'll do so! Hopefully he hadn't offended Beast Boy by not recognizing the gesture. Thankfully, the shapeshifter had indeed seemed to have forgiven his little slip, and complimented him on the help he'd lended. Smiling happily, Taz nodded. "Thank you! You did very awesome."

Taz gave a small huff from his nose and a pouting nod in agreement as the other teen mentioned DOMA in a slightly unflattering way. He agreed with the group's intent,  people should be protected, and bad people should be caught. But as far as he was concerned, DOMA was just way too...rude and mean about it. They should be working with and helping heroes, not treating them like criminals. He helped Beast Boy drag 'Santa' over to the hydrant, stepping around the yellow snow with a wrinkled nose. Gross...

Giving Beast Boy some more help if he'd need it, Taz would stick his tongue out at the now restrained criminal. Granted, the old crook was still passed out, but it was the thought that counted. Glancing back at Beast Boy, Taz would return the grin, giving a nod at the thanks. "Happy to help!" Head tilting slightly at the turn of phrase, the young spark thrower's eyes would light up as he managed to recognize what Beast Boy meant. He gave a small, victorious seeming bounce at that, and then nodded in agreement, his brows furrowing slightly as he spoke, "DOMA?"

Unfortunately, the answer to the young shockslinger's question would soon show up. The vehicles recognizable to that organization started approaching, and a DOMA officer would poke their head out, speaking through a microphone. "You boys stay right there!"
