MutationPowersSlade's Soldier Serum
Thanks to her father's meddling, Rose was injected with the same serum that gave him his powers. While Rose's manifest slightly differently, there are still some similarities.
- Enhanced Cognition - Rose has two primary advantageous functions of the serum that apply directly to her mind. The first is her perfect memory. Not just photographic, but perfect. If she sees, hears, or experiences something once, she can recall it with 100% accuracy. Regardless of any other factors, and with no pause for thought.
- Subconscious Calculation - Rose doesn't even consider this ability. At all times, her mind calculates every possible scenario and situation, to a point she can practically predict the immediate future subconsciously. Whether or not she believes these visions is another issue, because...well, we'll get to that in weaknesses.
- Eidetic Kinesthesia - Rose, just like her father, is able to duplicate any physical act after seeing it done once, by anyone, so long as she is biologically capable. She can also perform subtle muscle movements, difficult to percieve with even the most keen eye. Certain people however can spot her sleight of hand.
- Healing Factor - Rose is able to regenerate from any non-lethal wound, just like her father. And frankly? Even lethal wounds can technically be recovered from, so long as something is keeping her alive. If she has a pulse, her healing factor is ticking.
- Enhanced Agility - Finally, Rose is faster than most people. She can run faster than most, and react fast enough to deflect energy blasts and gun fire at close range with her blades. From a neutral position. From closer if she's prepared for it.

It's pretty core to who she is, but Rose desperately tries to forget things. Things she *literally* cannot forget no matter how hard she tries. But she drinks, to try and deal with that. And she smokes, to try and numb it. Doesn't do much, and frankly only dampens her potential.Human Body
She doesn't really seem it, but she's just as squishy as any other human. She has soft fleshy bits and vital organs just like anyone else.Mental Weaknesses
The Crippling Psychosis
Oh, did I not mention that? Yeah, Rose's serum has yet another effect that carries over from her father. Like Slade, she has fits of psychotic rage she struggles to control, rapid mood swings, hallucinations, and other fun things like that!Equipment
Rose's gloves and boots are made to attach to any surface, allowing her to run along walls, ceilings, and so on.
Slade was nothing if not consistent. Like himself and the world's greatest detective, Rose was trained to outfit herself with a utility belt to make use of.
- Glue Grenades - These bulky spheres can be thrown like a fast ball and detonate on impact, releasing a thick goop to immobilize enemy limbs.
- Flash Grenades - Military issue flash grenades. They explode and blind people for a brief period of time.
- Smoke Grenades - Also standard issue military tech. Pull the pin, throw it, fill the immediate area with thick smoke. Beauty and simplicity.
- 10 mm Pistol
- Dual Katanas
- Grappling Hook
- Bo Staff
- Lock Picks
- Contact Taser
Rose is extremely casual and nonchalant when she speaks. She brushes off things like responsibility, honor, and comradery. On the surface level. In reality, she desires companionship on a fundamental level, especially now that her only real reason for ever existing is gone.
Since she found out about Slade's apparent death, she's been devastated. Not because her father died, no, but because she wasn't going to be able to kill him and get her revenge. She'd have to find something else to do with her life, and frankly, she hasn't had any ideas yet.
«««PERSONAL BACKGROUND»»»Family Members:
Slade Wilson, Joseph "Jericho" Wilson, Lilian Worth (Deceased)Place of Origin:
Rose was born out of wedlock to Slade Wilson and Lillian Worth. Her first three years of life were quite normal, living with her mother quite happily. The only indicator of her heritage being her stark white hair she inherits from her father. Naturally, if her life had stayed that way, she wouldn't be much of an assassin, would she? At age 3, Slade attacked her family's home, slaughtering her mother and kidnapping her.
The next 5 years of her life were absolute torture. Slade revealed his identity as her father to her, and began her training, using the blood in her veins as justification for the things that were happening to her. Constant work, constant combat, constant survival. This child would fight daily against animals, Slade himself, and mercenaries that Slade had hired. Men Slade had told to kill his own daughter.
So of course Rose took their lives. She didn't have a choice in the matter. That was how she justified it. She had to save herself, and escape from this hell. Then, after another 6 years, Slade administered the serum that had made him into the man he was. And it f*cked Rose up something awful.
Her cognition began to slip, acknowledging the splitting of timelines, the countless realities that existed. And she saw them all. She could hardly tell what was in this reality anymore, which of course caused her combat abilities to begin to slip. And Slade was quite displeased. The beatings worsened. And the worst part? Rose felt a part of herself begin to desire
Slade's approval. To prove she could be like him. So she did prove it.
At age 15, she took her dagger and gouged out her own eye, screaming in agony as she did to prove her sick devotion to her father. And Slade didn't react. He felt nothing watching his daughter suffer, and he felt no pride in his daughter's worship of him. He left, and that was the last time she saw him.
Rose waited, of course. Like a loyal puppy, she waited in that bunker for her father to return. She kept up her training, torturing herself daily with it. She honed her powers, returning to her peak fighting ability, trying to make her father proud. She survived on the rations Slade had left behind, but her father was missing. Left with no food or water, Rose had no choice but to make her way out into the world.
Cautiously, at age 16, Rose left the bunker Slade had been hiding with her in. Hidden deep in the cliffs overlooking the shores of Maine, she squinted in the light and began to make her way down. The movements were effortless to her, just as Slade had trained her to be. When she made her way into the city, she began to search for her father, asking anyone who would listen to the one eyed teen where the man known as Slade was.
Eventually, she got her answer. Slade was dead, and he had died to the Teen Titans. She was broken, truly broken in that instant. Her father was dead. Her mentor was dead. Her reason to exist was dead. So it was decided, she would hunt the ones called Robin. Cyborg. Raven. Beast Boy. Starfire. Even this one called Terra. She would find and kill them. Skin them alive. Rip the flesh from their bones. All she had to do was get to Jump City.
And...frankly she had no idea where that was. The girl was illiterate, wandering around the complete wrong side of the country, desperately trying to find her way to a place she could avenge her father. Slowly but surely, she began her trek. Fighting for food and money as she went. Doing things most people would never consider. And during this time, she began to...speak to others.
Other people riding in the trains she'd stow away on. People she would run and exercise with. Genuine, hard working individuals without a unique ability to their name. But they were able to recognize Rose's pain.
Sure, a few didn't make it. Rose would lash out at anyone who dare lecture her. But a few of them just...made too much sense. Before they died, anyway. The girl slowly began to self medicate herself from her stockholm syndrome. She began to distance herself from Slade, realizing all the horrible things he'd done to her. Remembering and reinvigorating her hate from her youth.
Yes...her youth. Those lost memories, suddenly clear in her mind as she mastered her powers over two long years. The teen took the mask Slade had left her, and slashed it in half at the jaw line. Slade may have molded her, but she would break from him. She would break the hold he'd kept over her mind for so many years. And only then would she remove the mask.
Rose trembled with fear in the chair she'd been bound to. A belt binding each wrist to the arm rest. Each of her legs as well. Even her neck and head were bound backward. Her father, Slade, paced around her, methodically laying out his method. "F-Father? Maybe you could loosen these straps? M-My hands are going numb. They...feel like they're going to fall off..."
Slade chuckled, lifting something from the nearby table in the darkness. Rose couldn't turn her head, and thus couldn't get a clear view of what it was. "That's the idea, Rose. It's quite important we get this right. If we don't, the serum won't take hold properly. You won't blossom into that which you were meant to be."
He walked toward her, looming over the child and leaning in, injecting something
into her wrist. She winced in pain, and he sighed. "I've told you before, Rose, if you tense your muscles when they're pierced, it will only amplify your pain. You must be loose, calm, and collected."
Rose inhaled slowly and exhaled, terrified to break her gaze from Slade as he withdrew the syringe. Was that it? Was that the serum? "That...wasn't as bad as you'd said it would be..."
She sounded almost joyful, to be spared some pain. Slade exhaled, sounding almost as though he had smiled under his mask. He raised the syringe. "That was penicillin."
He said simply, walking back and grabbing another syringe. He sank it deep into Rose's arm and she grit her teeth in pain again. "And before you ask, this is morphine. A larger dose, but you'll need it."
The wait was agonizing, and Slade stood before her, staring into her eyes. Waiting for the drugs to take effect. She swallowed a lump in her throat as she felt her consciousness begin to slip. "Ah, good. I can finally get started."
Rose felt her neck give way, her head going limp against its restraints. Her entire body went limp. She watched with glazed over eyes as Slade returned, carrying another syringe with a strange clear syrum in it. "Word of warning, this hurts like hell."
He sank the syringe deep into Rose's arm again, and she screamed. The absolute agony as it began to empty her contents. Her entire body convulsed, trying to escape its bonds. It felt like acid and fire being poured directly into her veins, burning away at her arm before spreading throughout the rest of her body. Her eyes were wide, her vision was fading, and she was screaming in pain, long after Slade withdrew the syringe and left the room, leaving Rose to tire herself out.
But there she stayed, screaming in agony, convulsing in her chair, flexing against her bonds. Minutes passed. Then hours. It felt like days, before she finally collapsed. Silent, eyes still open, panting, and crying with agony. Reality would no longer be what she'd known. And her mind would no longer be her own.
