Shameless Advertising [Open]

Stobux stood on the roof of one the many skyscrapers of Jump late at night. Smoking on a cigar- he was glad he found something better to smoke, the little gremlin was busy finishing up his preparations. He hadn't been in this world long. And he quickly realized how little work he could actually do by himself! He needed to figure out a way to bring his clan over to this world. Shouldn't be too hard- except the crushing realization that this fragging world wouldn't know magic if a wizard blasted them in the face with it! He had been around here long enough to hear things- people with non-magical powers? Ludicrous!

On the plus side, he got to play around with a whole bunch of new gizmos that made some of his look like toys in scope. Which they were technically in his mind. But that's not the point! The forest wasn't all it was cracked up to be either, too far from this world's wondrous gizmos and whatitdoozits. Needed to find a more local place. And that's how he came about this plan- not to find a place mind you. It was more like saying, "Hey, watch this! Like it? Come find me!" It took some planning and scavenging the things he needed. Apparently the liquid fueling these "auto-mobiles" were not infact flammable- but the vapor from it was. Go figure. But that didn't stop him.

Took several tries, and a forest fire later before he had made up what he was looking for. The next problem was finding a place that would get the most eyes, and that took some research- which he hated! Burning things would have been much more entertaining. But he needed to make another bomb to blow through the wall of reality to reach his mates. And he couldn't do that alone, so he'd need some help with that. He needed shinies! The third and final problem which he was currently tackling now was... how did you work this thing? He'd seen some hoomies use this suspended platform to wash the windows. Seemed really dangerous and like it was more work then it needed to be. Why not just poor water down the side? Anyway, he felt like he had gotten the general gist of how it worked and VERY carefully started to lower himself.

"What waz that sayin'? Don't look down?" Stobux thought apprehensively. This was an entirely different adrenaline rush than what he was comfortable with. He could actually die here- and the thrill of free falling would be fantastic! He focused on the task at hand, taking an emptied spray can out before he started to spray part of the building. He was so small that it would actually take awhile for anyone to notice- and that was the beauty of being a tiny little bugger like him. That and no one was meant to see it yet until the finishing touch. After about the first hour, things went smoothly. And then suddenly, one of the ropes mysteriously snapped and the platform nearly dropped out completely. It was only through his twitch reflexes from dealing with explosives that at the last moment, Stobux managed to grab onto the hanging rope... with his foot.

He had a nice view of the ground below as the emptied spray cans dropped onto the ground below. Well- that wasn't good. But instead of calling it quits right then and there, the hellfire chief tried to make the best of the situation. He started to swing back and forth on the rope, using his remaining spray can to try and finish his work. Unfortunately it wasn't going to be quite like how he imagined. In the end he still managed to finish it, and after climbing up the rope so he wasn't dangling recklessly from it, he lit a match- he'd also lost his cigar. Fire burst to life as soon as he touched the substance with the match, quickly spreading across the face of the skyscraper and soon forming... something. It was supposed to be a giant H within a flaming circle. H for Hellfire you know. But the accident kind of made the design look alittle lopsided.

Stobux didn't have too much time to admire his work though, as the rope he was still dangling from also caught fire! Thinking quickly before he fell too far, he morphed his blunderbuss into it's cannon form and fired at an angle to send him through one of the windows. And it worked- after several nerve wracking tries. He'd have to see why it kept jamming as he got to his feet, dusting himself off. That'd grab someone's attention for sure.

Moments before the goblin's creation lit on fire, Simon was just walking around aimlessly. This was a nice area of town so he always walked this way home after school, rather than taking the most direct route. However, his nice stroll was interrupted by a random nearby skyscraper bursting into flames! Simon started running towards the skyscraper, while at the same time wondering why the fire was in such a weird shape.

As Simon got closer, he started looking out for signs of who started the fire. As he was looking, he saw something small crash through a window. As he followed the crash to go into the room he came across a small green figure. A Goblin. An honest to god Goblin. Simon let out a small chuckle at how absurd this situation currently was Hey there buddy. What's going on? He wondered if this thing could even speak or understand English, but would wait to see what happens first.

Stobux was reckless, often thoughtless in the heat of adrenaline. But even he knew better then to just stand around and WAIT for people to come looking for him. So he decided to make himself scarce, and fast! He had done the thing, which did a number of things. First: his formula for a flammable resin was finally correct. After several tries that may or may not have resulted in explosions and or fire. He also had another near death experience. Those were always blood pumping. And how many people got to say they defaced a big pointy building, and then lit it on fire? Not many.

But then a wild hooman appears! Where'd he come from? Weren't these joints locked up at night? And how did he get up here so quickly? Unfortunately, none of these thoughts even had a chance to become born. As his first instinct when suddenly seeing another hooman, was to immediately try to shoot it with his blunderbuss. He remembered those sneaky sneaks from that bar. When Stobux fired, he was immediately sent flying back and through a cubicle wall. "I ain't yer buddy guy!" Stobux said making an unintentional reference, as he got up, took aim, and... jammed. Stobux swore in his native tongue, taking his anger out on a desk, causing his Blunderbuss to suddenly fire... sending the weapon flying out of his hand.

"D'arvit!" He swore again, scrambling after his weapon.

During the moment that Simon stayed still to see what was happening first that moment was spent with the goblin aiming a gun at Simon. Simon took the blast to the chest and was sent flying into the wall, just the same as the goblin. Simon spat blood out of his mouth, but didn't seem terribly inconvenienced by the hole in his chest Oh, you speak English? Makes things easier.

Simon climbed through the hole in the wall made by the Goblin as his gun was sent flying out of his hand. Simon took the chance and dashed for the gun, if he got there first he would plant his foot on it and move his way into the Goblin's path What's wrong friend? I just wanted to chat. From the look on his face, he clearly wasn't thrilled that he'd just been shot at, but he wasn't being aggressive yet since it could just be down to the Goblin reacting in surprise.
