Blow Em Up And Learn [Hive Class] (Open To All)

Teens wearing Hive colored uniforms and outfits and positioned bombs at the back of every bank in Jump City before they backed up and all at once each bomb went off blowing massive holes in the wall that the vaults would be in each bank. They ran off though after this and crowds started to form around the banks as a mank with what looked to be drawn on skull and bone designs all over his body smoked his cigarette looking at the sight through monitors set up in his class room and pointed to the monitor blowing out smoke as he spoke to his class.

”The easiest way to understand how most would react to chaos is creating controlled chaos that doesn't particularly hurt anyone but, cause mass panic or curiosity and letting the general public let their inner demons take over with the opportunity and do your criminal work for you. This way you can see how the heroes or police would react and jump into the fry and what they would normally do. Learning this will tell you how they will likely react to your future plans so you can work with or against it..”

The man said motioning to the monitors before taking some more hist off of his cigarette as many locations had crowds of people race into the vault of the banks to steal the money and start to flee with armfuls of bills. ”going this route of things is always a good one since if you are not caught causing the chaos all the blame is put on people like these so they get arrested while you learn something new. Now…” He let the students pass out popcorn taking his share as he sat at his desk watching the monitors. ”Lets see how the heroes or who ever handles this, please take notes there will be questions after the video.”

It was a dark night. There were no stars out, and no moon. Just a heavy cover of black. On nights like this, you can smell the rain before it falls, and Lewis was certain that a storm was coming.

But rain wasn't the only smell in the wind. Smoke rise from the bank in front of him, and if reports were to be believed, from every bank in Jump City. He wasn't sure who had done this, but they had no interest in stealing money for themselves. Instead, they were trying to prove a point. People of every creed, culture, and color were running out of the bank with cash in their fingers. The message was proven. Inside the hearts of everyone was a green eyed monster waiting to be free.

Why? Why were they doing this? These were the people he had sacrificed so much to protect. He had chosen to live with barely enough in order to do the right thing. What little money he had went to financing his heroics. Several times, he had held a small fortune of stolen money in his hands, and he had always made sure the money made it back to the people. And yet, here those people were, stealing from their neighbors, their community, their friends.

A woman ran past Pacific holding a bundle of cash. His nunchuck snapped, knocking her to the ground. She looked up at him, confused and afraid, nursing the side of her head.

Pacific cracked his knuckles. "Do you feel no shame?"

He could smell blood as he beat her.

Atlas sigh at lesson in action, seeing no point in paying heed to the message. He had already seen it before, see how easy it is for someone to forsake their values in a mere moment. How easy one commits an atrocity on the premise of survival. Squatting upon the edge of a nearby building next to the bank he looked down at the scrambling mass in pity. He was adorn in his standard costume with the HIVE esigna sewn into the back much to his displeasure but alas he much humor the HIVE and play along with their charade of injustice. With the bombs going off he just wanted to go back to base but alas he must humor his teacher and study the social decay in person.

Sharp yelps of pain draw his attention away from the main stream of fleeing civilians and saw an man beating a women who stolen some money. He gave another sigh and made his way down by wall jumping down with another building right next to the one he was on. Once on ground level he walked out of the alleyway and across the street, moving out of the way as civilians continue to run by him. He looked forward to the man blooding his fists on the downed women, the brutal beating reminded him of darker memories. Clenching his fists he sprinted in a burst of intense speed and swung his leg around a semicircular motion, intent of striking with the front of the leg toward the man side in hopes of sending him flying. If successful he would remain where he was and simply give the women a look to leave. Looking forward he would speak to the man in a dull tone, "You know, you have certainly proven them right, how easy one resorts to violence in the midst of chaos." Atlas already knew that, of the red eye devil in every living being, bound in lines of morality it squirms and scratch to get free and all it takes is one pull of the rope to set it free.

Raven boredly sat in her seat with her feet up on the desk her hood up and over her head covering most her face in shadows while she watched the monitors. It was entertaining for mere human chaos and destruction but not nearly at the level she knew and loved. Though on the other side of the room sat a new student, she being there for her own private reasons her name, Miley Milcondis. In all honestly it was interesting to see this method, causing chaos, just to learn.

She was taking notes as she sat criss cross on her chair with her black jean jacket with a black hood on it hanging from her chair she had on a black crop top, dark grey cargo pants on and purple plaid conversion on with her usual fingerless cotton black gloves on. One thing she did like about Hive was the anything but showing 80% or more of your skin not being allowed dress code rule. It kept things interesting for her in terms of picking out clothes.

It shocked Miley that people of this world were so greedy that they just freely stole money rather than helping to fix the damages made… Raven on the hand felt it was expected and never really though much more on it. Raven laughed a bit with some other kids seeing a man beating a woman bloody on the ground finding it amusing while Miley just tesed up narrowing her eyes as she just wrote more notes, he didn't need to beat her that badly in her opinion… THe classmates stood up seeing one of their own go after the man cheering, Raven smirking while Miley smiled softly, someone was saving the lady…. Good.

(OOC: waiting for 2 more days before continuing to make sure everyone has a chance to join early on just giving a heads up.)

The teacher  rose an eyebrow seeing atlas stepped in but shushed the crowd when they got too rowdy making them settle down a bit which they promptly did. He watched a bit closer raising an eyebrow as a woman lowered down in the area by bright blue threads holding a dull expression on her face watching the man who had just attacked the woman so brutally. She rose up a pointer finger sending out 100s of threads attaching them to all the civilian crowd that was just watching in shock not stealing making their eyes shine bright blue before fading back to normal along with the threads.

The people suddenly started to scream and shout at each other as they started to attack on an dother tilting her head to one side looking from them to the man and then to the people trying to run way and rose her pinky finger shooting out a thread for everyone running and attached to them making them freeze and their eyes flash bright blue before fading along with their threads.  They all turning to each other and started to try to steal each other's money as a few cop cars arrived she raising her ring finger to them as they stepped out and the same thing happened to their eyes and threads but they all turned to face pacific.

They all speaking in unison ”You're hard to find alone, while still in public… it seems your eyes are still missing… I hope you find them soon… “ They all said before getting back in their cars and driving away. The teacher went silent then as a student smiled brightly at the woman in black with blue accents on her and her white skin. “Whoah what teacher is that!?” The teacher then spoke in a hushed voice. ”She's not from Hive.”

Pacific felt the leg collide with his gut. All the air inside him got shoved out his mouth. Even through his bullet proof vest, this kick hurt. The force of the impact lifted him off his feet and threw him twenty feet into a brick wall. Dropping to the cement, Pacific landed on all fours. It took him a few seconds before he could even rub the sore spot on the back of his head. Skull versus brick was not a good match up.

He was still gasping for breath when he stood up, his legs shaking a bit. His attacker wore what looked like a green tracksuit. Most of his face was covered behind a silver mask. Pacific had expected someone taller. Judging by the power behind that last attack, Greeny was clearly a meta-human.

Greeny said that Pacific was proving 'them' right by resorting to violence in a chaotic situation. Since he didn't say 'us,' Pacific assumed this guy had nothing to do with blowing open the bank vaults. So who was this guy, then? Pacific didn't recognize him. Some sort of teenage superhero? That would fit with him defending the woman. Just an hour ago, Pacific would have been on his side, but something had snapped inside him, something that had been building for a long time.

"I guess you're right. I am proving them right, because they are right. So I guess we're all right then? But look, you must have something else to do right now, so I'll let you get to it." Pacific had no reason to fight this guy right now. The woman had been punished enough, and there were plenty of other thieves running in the streets.

At least there had been. As Pacific looked around now, he realized that the crowd was now busy fighting itself. They were screaming and beating one another like rabid animals. One figure stood out, a woman in a black dress, who was standing very still. She held out a finger and shot out what looked like blue wires at a crowd of people fleeing the area. They all suddenly froze for a few seconds before turning to attack one another. Was she controlling them? He had seen mind control in use before, but this was on a completely different level. And all this time, the woman in black looked so utterly bored.

Police arrived, and no sooner had they exited their vehicles were they under the woman's spell, if that's what it was. But this time, she had them deliver a message...to him. Eyes still missing? She was one of them! One of those three entities with whom he had conversed that night.

The police left, leaving the brawling mob to Pacific, Greeny, and the woman. Pacific spoke directly to her.

"Not too difficult for you, though. I'm flattered by the attention. I'm afraid I don't even know your name, though, Miss. What should I call you?"

"Meh, we're fine. You just had my annoyed." Atlas said plainly for he was not the one to remain irritated for long. He turned to go return to his prior position when the world decided to take an 180 and go downhill. A sigh left him as he witness the crowd going crazy, why can't the city be normal for one week without something out of the ordinary happening. Hell at the this the abnormality will just become normal much like how Quirks became over time. As if to continue to trek down the rabbit hole a strange lass showed up who seemed to be interested in the other man. Seeing no point in getting involved in something that does not require him he simply used his speed to exit the scene given his objective was completed.

The woman's eyes slowly moved from him to the roofs as a small 4 foot tall girl jumped down from and ran over she looking to be rather puppet like in limbs and looked like a teenager. She waved to him before speaking in a distorted voice that came out after the sound of puppet teeth chatter emitted out and kept going while she talked and a little afterward. ”Hello sir, madam’s name is Astrid, she is here to finish her job she started for one of the sir’s at home! While of course performing her main job in the meantime!.”

Astrid looked from the girl to Pacific then and stared at him silently as the puppet continued. ”Your question was a tricky one though sir, many others were simple, who they were, why the world was the way they were. All factual things that would be elaborated upon much easier. As for you we had to look into your past and then converse about  your potential and if you were truly a hero or not. We are to believe that you were on the right track when you moved into a less heroic lifestyle, less ordinary. You do not seem to want to have the low poverty  common human life style… so we believe you are not to go this route, you are meant to be something more… or to die.”

“That was the only 2 options we could come up with. Be had reason to believe you would not like the die ending so we decided on something more… that being someone with the goal bigger than day to day life and living off pocket change. You need to take control of your life and ignore the standard lifestyle. And if you hate yourself later on you at least have the proper reason to as you would possibly have turned into a monster, rather than you just are like everyone else with a low income and you hate this life style. You have a boring life… so the madam wanted to see that change, she pitties the boring. Though she does know that given that you are a normal human. You are not likely to be able to change your life like this on your own… not in a city like this.”

The woman in the dress didn't speak. Whether she couldn't or wouldn't, it didn't matter. She spoke through a puppet.

The puppet itself was disturbing to look at. The limbs certainly held the appearance of a marionette, but her face was very life like. Pacific was certain that this young 'puppet' was actually a real person who had lost their limbs. Astrid had displayed power over others, though not over inanimate objects, at least not yet. Pacific assumed thatthe puppet was more or less a willing servant of lady Astrid.

Her main job? What was that exactly? He didn't know where her home was, or what the others like her were. But he didn't ask about those things yet. You didn't learn anything by opening your mouth. Besides, she was talking about his question. All he dared assume at this point was that she wasn't connected to this bank bombing. It did appear that Astrid was here for him, and him alone.

His purpose was to become something greater? It was certainly better than dying. The problem wasn't just that he was a normal human. It was that his moral code was holding him back. He knew he could obtain anything he wanted if he gave in to desire, if he simply stopped caring. His heart was his weakness. There was no success to be found, as Astrid had said, for an honest man in Jump City. But could be so easily toss those morals aside?

"Everyone needs a little help every once in a while," he said, agreeing with her. He spoke directly to Astrid, not the puppet. After all, his conversation was with her, not an interpreter. "I do not wish to presume, but you certainly have the power to help me change my life, if it is your desire. You'll be kind to forgive my ignorance. You've told me very little about yourself, Lady Astrid. If that is a part of your purpose here, I would eagerly accept your assistance. I have no shame in being pittied. As you said, there is quite the problem here. But if you choose not to help me, I will take destiny into my own hands. Because it is not my purpose to be, but to become. And my eyes are no longer missing."

Astrid nodded to him when he said he could use her help. ”It is our goal to help you find your eyes and answer your question. It is madam astrid's wish to give you a step closer to your new goal for she thinks that it could be interesting to do so.” The girl smiled brighter than before continuing. ”Madam astrid said to envision your most ideal self of who you personally want to be not what you want to do in life but your own personal goals such as strength will, personality looks, age, everything. One of our partners can help get you to as close as you can do that, and with that assistance we hope that you can reach the goals that you want in your life!” Astrid then extended a hand out to him.

”If you want this, if you are willing to accept this change in who you are take her hand. If not Madam will thank you for cooperating so well with her and hopes that you have good luck with your trials towards reaching your goal.” If he took her hand they would be transported to a very dark castle looking room that held her and a teen boy with black and red hair. Who bowed to pacific and giggled happily t him. ”Welcome and thank you for joining us here to better fix you.” he said walking up to him. ”I’m Lonic, your fairy godmother~” Astrid rolled her eyes a bit sighing an annoyed sigh but kept an emotionless look on her face as she did so.

This wasn't the first time Lewis been made this offer. John had offered to mentor him, to teach him, to help him reach his full potential. Lewis had been so excited to finally do something with his life, to achieve something great. He had invested his soul in being a salesman. He had put on the suit and tie every day.

And John had failed him. Lewis had ended up poorer and more discouraged than before. He had nothing to show for all his hard work. It had taken months of back breaking labor to get his finances back under control.

He had learned a lesson from all this. Nobody could offer him greatness. Greatness was taken, not given. He had no doubt that Astrid and her friends were powerful, but his destiny was not in their hands. It was in his own. For this reason, he considered not accepting her offer.

But then again, wouldn't it be easier to achieve his destiny with Astrid's help? It's not like it would hurt. He had felt powerless for so much of his life. Even when he had strengthened his body and mind, he had only been fooling himself for a short moment before someone terrifyingly powerful appeared and wrecked his city. The more power Lewis could obtain, the better.

Pacific shook Astrid's hand.

What? Where...where was he? Suddenly everything had changed. He was indoors, and it was very dark. The architecture and decor was rustic, almost medivial. Astrid was still here, wherever here was.

There was another person here, though. A young man with black and red hair. He seemed...off. His fairy godmother? This boy was annoying him already. Astrid seemed to agree with Lewis's opinion of the teen boy. But if this Lonic could give him what he wanted, then it was best to put up with him.

"A pleasure to meet you, Lonic. I've heard some impressive things about you. How exactly can you fix me?"

The police in the area were spread thin around the city from so many calls for help. A small police line holding out near the bank trying to hold out as people try to run off with bills. Originally being detained but now its gotten bad units sent to detain those responsible were assaulted by the crowds, there gear taken now they had a few dozen people armed and dangerous firing back at the officers keeping them pinned down. Smoke, fire and shell casings cover the ground and screams of the officers calling for backup that would never come as they hide behind their bullet riddled cars. Their only barricade between them and six feet of dirt and marble. As their ammo is sparse and ineffective given the assailants cover all they got left is hope.

In a apartment nearby a man all to familiar with this site to him it was war different country and sides but war just the same. He gears up for this day of combat putting on a mixture of swat and special forces gear and armor finishing with his mask as he makes his way out of his apartment complex he makes sure those inside are safe before he leaves. Making his way to the police line he carried a m4a1 tactical loadout a few tear gas grenades a combat knife and a suppressed 9mm. Lethal bullets replaced with rubber bullets for his sidearm and gell rounds for his primary. As he gets his way there he lobs two tear gas grenades threw the broken windows of the bank as that keeps the ones inside busy two outside open fire on him their aim off a bit but that didn't stop from receiving a police slug from a assailant with the stolen gun. The air knocked out of him as he lands on his back he had to think quickly or he would be dead lying on his back he pulls his sidearm free and pops the two in the center of their forehead due to it being the only way they wont die from the impact of the rubber rounds. Knocking them out cold he gets up before vaulting behind the cars with the police. "The line is fractured officer!" The police officer not caring who this guy was but thankful for the help "yah tell me something i don't know any ideas how to get outa here?!" Ghost coughs a bit reaching up under his vest only to realize the bullet got threw but not hitting a vital organ with blood clearly visible on his combat glove popping a fresh mag in his 9mm he says "on my go run back behind you to the apartment complex. " The police sergeant was about to argue when ghost interrupts "Those people need protection" handing the officers a room number he says "This is my room number you'll find a weapons locker under the matris re equip yourselves and hold their ill cover you and be right behind you now go!"

the smoke grenades at this point have dispersed their contents and now those still armed were firing back at the crewsers "go now!" Ghost ordered as the cops began running to the location Ghost crawled to a nice spot on the ground with decent cover leaving a noticeable blood trail before he began spewing cover fire. He knew in the back of his mind he wouldn't be following them in his wounded state which would cost more lives and endanger those living in the complex so he lay there spending non lethal ammo into the bank pinning them down until either he dies of blood loss gets saved by a super or runs out of ammo.

Lonic giggled and winked to him. ”No need to lie~ I can tell you hate me already~ But don’t worry all the smart people do. But What i can do is HELP you fix yourself.” SHe started as he skipped around him looking him over. ”We all here have one base power that we can all do, teleportations, illusions, puppetry, mindsight and communication, shape shifting, and body and mind altering. I being the last one. The cost of your mind being twisted and altered to fit what is needed and your body doing the same is the given fact of, i can't stop the pain that you will face when you are altered. My own personal limitation is your insurance though. I can make you anything that you don’t desperately want to be.”

He stopped back in front of him with his hands behind his back. ”you see say that you always wished that you looked a certain way, you wanted to be happier more often than not, you wanted to be stronger in a different way than what you are now, you want to change your memories. I can alter all that. The limitations there being i can't make you anything that you don’t already have the potential to be or have in a sort of way. SO let's say you wanted super powers, If you had what many human have which is the metagene i could instantly unlock that for you despite you not being able to unlock it on your own.

But if you were meant to have been an ice user but wanted to be immune to poison, i can't help you there. I can even gift you with items that you were destined to have or have had in the past that you lost. So what I need you to do~ is think about what you want to be so badly… even if it doesn’t help you in what you want to be in life in the long run and maybe you just want to be a male model i can do that for you… whatever you wish, i will assist. So I’m going to shut up and you tell me when you figured out what you want. Just think about it though I don’t need to hear what you want out loud unless its physical items.”

OOC: congratulations @Dar you have unlocked an in character character makeover, you can choose to change as much or as little as you want if anything at all. For items you have to go by it being stuff he has had in the past or in the future. For example lonic could give him every penny that he lost due to his failed attempts at jobs and schools but not a number amount like 1 million dollars or something since that is not a personal item in the past that he has had due to how it is phrased. Please pm me the exact changes that you would likely want to make in his app and i’ll work with you on that to get mr pacific the way you like. It will likely take 1 more round after your post for mr pacific to gain these changes if any so during that time we’ll work on the ooc stuff together. Thank you for participating.

Now this was unexpected… someone was starting to resolve the chaos… ”you look upset…” a young man spoke as a little girl scoffed ”He’s ruining all the fun!” The man chuckled. ”This may be true though if you're this upset how about you go down and see if you can get him out of there. The situation could be interesting with your involvement and with or without the man i'm certain the chaos will rage on just fine my sweet.” he said charmingly to the little girl who sighed. ”Fine but If the chaos dies down I will be upset! I didn’t stop watching Sky High for my my favorite show just to be cut short.” She said in a huff.

And with that on the top of the crewser stood what looked to be a 10 year old girl in a black dress and light pink hair. She had a black glove that went up to her mid bicep and a shoulder  ornament on. She looked to the people who were about to fire on her and flicked her wrist at them rolling her eyes and they all then started to suddenly shoot at each other while screaming in fear and or anger. She then looked down to the man for a moment before speaking.

”I don’t like people like you… you make things too complicated… then you make me go and get bored by starting to bleed out.” She said hopping to his side of the ground on the other side of the crewser. She held her hands on her hips and leaned forward towards her with a rather childish pout. ”So you gonna run away now? Or-... well itd be more of a hobble or a crawl for you wouldn’t it…?” She asked flatly.

Pacific had studied the phenomenon known as the meta-gene. He was certainly no expert on the subject, but he had formed a series of beliefs about it. First, you either had it or you didn't. Most people didn't have it. Second, it could lay dormant until activated by some extreme situation. That was what Pacific hoped to have happen now. Third, it provided the opportunity to adapt. Your power wasn't always predetermined. Getting struck by lightning, for example, could cause your meta-gene to activate and grant you electric powers. Or...it could just kill you.

Pacific knew there would be pain. Change was usually a painful process. It wasn't like Lonic could 'take it easy on him.' Once they started, there was no going back.

Pacific had thought before about what power he would have if he could pick one. But suddenly he was uncertain. If his meta-gene would allow him to select an ability, within reason, then he didn't want to choose the wrong one.

Teleportation had always been a favorite. Healing factor, too, but it seemed less versatile to him. Pacific closed his eyes. He pictured himself teleporting. This was what he wanted, what he desired.

"I'm ready."

But no matter how hard Lonic tried, no powers could be unlocked for Pacific. He had no meta-gene to awaken. No hidden potential could be found within him, not even an important item from another time.

But there was one thing, deep within. Lewis blamed his lack of success on his moral code. He felt he was crippled in a way because of it. It had always been holding him back, telling him to do the right thing instead of what he wanted to do. And it had given him nothing in return.

If there was one thing Lonic could change about Lewis, it was his heart. There was a fading light that someone like Lonic could snuff out.

Lonic smirked and held his hand out to pacific and focused but sighed shaking his head a bit. Though looked deeper and altered what he could find, he refused to just let the man go without tweaking one thing or another, that just wasn’t how he rolled. Pacific would feel a sudden sharp stabbing feeling in his heart and the pain would grow as it felt like his heart was being torn into 1,000s of pieces and slapped violently back together before his brain would feel like it was on fire the heart and pain slowly meshing together and grew in intensity for a long while before slowly fading away.

Ionic would lower his hand then and let pacific breath a bit before smiling to him. ”Your desired metagene wasn't possible to get, and since you had only wished for that i couldn't try anything else or well normally i couldn't. But your fairy godmother Ionic set you up with something you had been wishing for deep down inside, I unlocked the door that has been holding you back from going and doing what you wanted. It was tough since it was an underlying desire but i did it just for you.

If you want i can try again to get you something besides a meta gene but this one change should help you quite a bit. And to top it all off here.” He would hold out to pacific a card that looked like a monopoly get out of jail free card but with a chibi lonic as the monopoly man escaping jail. ”Save that for when you think you can't get out of any form of a jail or captivity.”

“Once you use it but declaring that you're going to use it with the intent to use it in mind, and it will teleport you to the safest and closest location outside of the jail or captivity. Just in case you get locked up cause a practice run of yours didn’t work out well. I would feel bad if i only gave you just the one gift when i'm supposed to be your fairy godmother. Cinderella did get a pretty new look and a carriage to the ball after all. So why shouldn’t you~?”
