Trotting through the blood and the corpses, Nate wondered what could have done this. If the tome had reacted it couldn't be human. There was no way! The tome only reacted to supernatural threats, things the human mind could not and should not be able to understand. Kneeling down he began to inspect the bodies, making great care to avoid the pools of blood.
Looking at the bodies, he noticed that they were missing chunks from their body. Scratching his chin, Nate made a mental note of all creatures he knew that eat humans. None of them were good. While he knelt down he didn't even notice the moths quickly beginning to surround the area. He was too focused on the body. Not caring about fingerprints he would go through the guards pockets until he found a keycard. he got up and turned his head in the direction towards the wolf exhibit. Holding the gun in one hand he would make his way slowly towards the exhibit.
Finding a place to scan the card he would make his way in. Fear rose in the pit of stomach at the idea of what kind of creature he would find inside. Or worse yet, the scene of the creatures carnage. With his gun loaded, Nate would peer forward just wondering what kind of creature he would meet with. Would it be a werewolf, wendigo, some sharp tooth half-lings. The list of creatures was numerous, but Nate wasn't going to let that stop him.
