Other: His skin is snow white with a slight light bluish gray tone to it. He has bushy light blue eyebrows. He has a tattoo on his forehead in red (not sure what it is though). His build is muscular.

===POWERS===

Powers:
Force Field Generation: The ability to produce powerful fields of manipulated darkness at will. His force fields are made of dark energy, which gives the forcefield a dark tint to it. His main forcefield use is making one that surrounds him completely, like a bubble. Inside it has only a 25ft diameter all around. He is not able to exit the force field without bringing it down first. The second part of his forcefield power is that he can make smaller forcefield from his hands, making him able to move around as he has it up. It is much like having a shield that a Spartan would carry. These smaller shields give Takeshi the ability to move around and not be stuck in one spot like he would be with his full forcefield. The downside to these smaller forcefields is that they are much weaker compared to the full thing. The smaller shields are only able to block things like bullets or a person trying to strike him, also the shield has no knock back force. The larger shield was only able to take two shots from a standard RPG-7 before starting to crack, a third would have easily broken the shield and killed Takeshi. After making one of the larger shields and it is broken or brought down, he will not be able to make any shield for about 35 seconds. If the smaller shield is broken, he will quickly be able to create another shield in rapid succession.

Enhanced Progression: The ability to adapt to a task much more rapidly than an average person. This does not mean he is smarter or stronger. Rather, he must expend less time and effort to get the same results. Their is a con, he cannot become superhuman in any area. Also this ability is subconscious for him and is almost always actively being used.

===PSYCHOLOGICAL PROFILE===

Likes: Likes a challenge, fighting, swords, knives, reading, learning.

Dislikes: Dislikes guns, being beaten in a fight.

Strengths: He can easily learn anything he wants and is a deadly close combat fighter.

Weaknesses: He gets hurt just like any other person. He can become sick, be shot, and killed. If he doesn't block the bullet, then he will be shot and injured and/or killed by it.

Skills:
Expert Swordsman: He has always had an interest in swordsmanship. With his enhanced progression ability, he has been able to easily excel in swordsmanship and has had to adapt to fighting with such a big sword. The way he uses it is mainly for slashing downwards and side to side. He cannot slash upwards because the blade will hit the ground and get stuck.

Expert Armed/Unarmed Combatant: With the help of his enhanced progression ability, he has been able to become expert or near expert in a few different fighting styles. This makes him a pretty deadly opponent.

Bilingual: He knows Japanese and English. Japanese is his first language.

Free Running: Though his armor limits some of his movements, he is able to use this to jump from building to building and use it to get to places some wouldn't think of. This is what has helped him become quick and nimble.

Equipment:
Armor: His armor is light plated armor that gives him great protection and also gives him great flexibility at the same time. The armor is made from steel or leather, depending which area you are talking about.

Sword: His sword is an ancient katana that is called the odachi. Odachi's were generally 5 to 6 feet in length. Takeshi's odachi is just under 6 feet long.

Knives: Has a whole bunch of different concealed knives in various places. He has them hidden in his boots or even under different parts of his armor.

Habits/Quirks: He has a gold dollar coin, that when he is not in battle or anything, you will see him flipping it up in the air and catching it over and over.

Personality: A pretty straightforward guy. Tries to keep a serious appearance. He loves challenging people to fights or being challenged to one. He does not like when he is beaten by someone, but tries to take the loss as a learning experience so that he could be the person the next time. He really isn't a man for jokes or messing around, he likes to get straight to the point and that's it.

===PERSONAL BACKGROUND===

Place of Origin: Japan
History: Takeshi was born in Japan to a rich family. Him and his parents were always moving to different parts of Japan for business of course. Takeshi was used to all the moving, so it didn't affect him so much. He was a great student and learned things much quicker than the other kids. Takeshi was subconsciously using his powers. He excelled in all of his classes and learned the material almost off hand. Out of school Takeshi was interested in swords and martial arts. His parents put him in when he was eligible so that he stays out of their hair while they are conducting business. Takeshi was one of the best students in both sword fighting and martial arts, which helped him win many tournaments. Takeshi tried numerous times to get close to his parents through his life, but they were always too busy or something like that. When Takeshi was fifteen, his parents and him moved to Jump City because they had business to do there. They gave Takeshi a few books so that he can learn English and learned it very quickly. His parents did not think much of it, they just thought he was a quick learner, which literally is the case. He blended in to the crowd normally because he was just a normal fifteen year old Japanese boy. Takeshi was a good kid, never got in trouble or anything. One day in school he was called to the office. He didn't know why he was being called because he knew he has not done anything wrong. The principal was there and had to break the news to Takeshi. Takeshi's parents had both been killed in a car accident. Even though they have not payed attention to him and neglected him, he was still overwhelmed with emotions of sadness. Takeshi stood home from school, alone for a few days, waiting for the day of the funeral. The days he was home, he would go to the library that was in the mansion. He had found some black book with some weird design on the front of it. He read it through and it was a book about "Black Magic". He found an interesting section about bringing people back to life. This section he read in and out trying to learn what to do. Anything was worth a shot to bring his parents to life. It was the night just before the funeral. Takeshi was in the middle of the living room with candles and all these other objects for this to work. Takeshi was following the book step by step and doing what it said. When he ended he waited a couple of seconds, nothing happened. Then from under him a light came out. It was purplish in color and its aura was bad. The force in it went through Takeshi's body. He had no idea what was happening, but his body started to change. His skin became in more pale, his hair changed color, and the tattoo on his forehead appeared. His heart became harder and more evil. The next day at the funeral, everyone was gathered at the funeral home and Takeshi was nowhere to be found. Everyone waited and waited and he didn't come. They then were sending someone out and when that man reached the door, Takeshi was there, but no one knew it was him. Takeshi had a katana in his hand and when the man reached him, he slashed his head clean off. People screamed and someone called the police. Takeshi went in and took out all of the people that were in there. The police was then waiting outside for him to come out. Takeshi walked out, and blood stained his clothes. The cops ordered him to stop, but he did not. They opened fire on him, but like instinct, Takeshi used his power to generate force fields to block the bullets. Takeshi used this to his advantage and was easily able to escape from them. It's been tough, but Takeshi has spent the next years by himself in the city fending for himself. Stealing when he had to and killing when he had to.

Sample RP

Malferus walked through the streets. People stared at him cause well he looked different. What drew people's attention was the giant katana that he had. He flipped his coin in his right hand as he walked down the street and carried his sword in his other hand. Malferus was feeling pure hatred right now and felt like destroying a few things. One last flip of his coin and then caught it. He sticks it in his pocket and walked into the street. The light turned green and the cars started going. No time to stop, so the car honked its horn. Malferus looked and formed a force field around him causing the car to crash into it. He smiled as he then brought the shield down. He walks over to the drivers side of the man's car.

"Are you ready to die?"

He asked the man with a deep raspy voice. The man tried to get to the other side of the car, but his seatbelt held him down and was too much in shock to realize it. Malferus pulls his sword out and quickly slashes straight through the windshield and to the other end. It falls off and the man is dead. People run in terror as Malferus puts his sword back in its sheath and walks away.

Dear AJ,

A shield that has yet to be tested. Oh my. Now I take it this won't be in the range of godmodding, as I should. However, what if he had one of those mobile shields and starts running for someone? Would that individual suffer a big knockback? How mobile is the shield? Will it turns with his vision or just turn to where it is needed most?

Please answer how much options you have with this. Furthermore, how does he fight with his katana? I frown to think he'd have the same style as a ''normal'' katana user.

Though I must note that a leather and metal armor isn't half as flexible as you'd suggest. Chucking it full with knives makes it even harder. Please keep this in mind. Otherwise, it's a fine character!

Leather sucks for flexibility, if you've got a leather jacket you'd know, you can't lift your arms past shoulder height

And Lol, I actually didn't mean it that way. I should have been more specific with it. For armor I was broad (cause I was a bit lazy). The only part that is leather are his gloves and boots really. I should have explained that more.
