Powers:
Invisible- Shy can turn invisible at will, and can stay that way for as long as she wants. However, the focus required to stay invisible is broken if she gets hurt. After a hit, she will temporarily be made visible.

Visible- Shy can see things that are invisible, whether she herself is visible or invisible.

Skills:
Shy is very quiet when she moves.
She is nearly unbeatable in video games.

Physical Weaknesses:
Human- She has no special durability, so bullets, knives, punches, and similar things will hurt her.
In the Way- Being invisible is not always a good thing. Walking on the street is always a dangerous endeavor, since drivers won't be able to see her and stop. Similarly, when using her power it is often possible for her to get hurt by simply geting in the way of someone of something.
Aim for the Void- Old tricks like throwing powder or water in the air won't make her visible, nor will particles that stick to her be visible. But if you look closely and see where fine particles disappear, you will discover where she is. Her foot prints will appear, or in some cases, cause things to disappear in the shape of her feet.

Mental Weaknesses:
Gullible- She believes pretty much anything that you tell her. Obviously, if you break her trust, she won't be as easily fooled. That is until she forgets to distrust you.
Risk Taker- Shy is one of those people who acts first and doesn't bother to ask questions. She often places herself at risk when it is obviously unwise to do so. It's a miracle she has lived this long.

History:
Although her parents and her brother were normal humans, Coy was born with powers. She was afraid to tell other people about her power, which led her to seek a secluded lifestyle. The only friend she had was her brother. In school, she was constantly bullied. Coy retreated into virtual reality with video games.
Coy's father died from a heart attack 3 years ago. Since then, her mother has worked hard to provide for the two children. When David got very sick, the family was in despair. One night, David had a bad fever and was going delirious. Their mother tried to comfort him, and that was when David's latent superpower awakened.
He turned their mother to gold, right in front of Coy's eyes.
Suddenly, a mysterious stranger appeared, grabbed David, and vanished, leaving Coy a lonely orphan. It took her days to process what had happened. She had never seen her brother use his powers before. She didn't think that he had any. But she did know what she was going to do now. She was going to find her brother, and she was going to find a way to bring their mother back. To accomplish this, she set out for the place with the heaviest meta-human activity, Jump City.

It wasn't that she wanted to steal things. Quite the opposite, Coy thought of herself as quite an honest person. But the fact remained that she didn't have any money for food, or for travel expenses, for that matter. Coy looked down at the half-eaten hot dog in her hand. She could still see it, but nobody else could. Nobody could see her, sitting at the back of the bus, alone.

Normally, she was fine with being alone. But after losing her family, she wished that she had spent more time with them. At least she could have invited them into a multiplayer game or two.

She was going to fix this. She would get her family back if it killed her. Her resolve was so strong that she accidentally squeezed the hot dog, crushing it into a soggy, ketchup mess in her hand. Coy frowned. At least her costume was red, so she wouldn't have to worry about stains.

The bus stopped. A very large man got on and started walking towards the back. He was getting close. Too close. Oh no! Coy tried to move out of the way, but the man sat on her lap.

A gasp escaped her lungs as she was crushed beneath the weight. "Get...off!"
