Powers: 1) Fox Fire. Fox Fire allows Tetroneaque to create small orbs of blue fire out of thin air. He can create up to nine at once and willfully control them such as floating them through the air. These flames are always blue in color and burn with the same intensity as a torch's flames, making them best used as distractions or a source of light for others. Water and other common fire prevention measures can easily douse the flames. 2) Enhanced Senses. Being a Kitsune gives Tetroneaque senses that are much more refined than a human's. His hearing and sense of smell are greatly enhanced and he can even see in the dark. 3) Transformation. Being a Kitsune also gives Tetroneaque the ability to transform between two forms. His usual, bipedal, anthro form and a full on quadrupedal fox form. The only advantage of his full fox form is his smaller size and a bit more speed, otherwise he's actually weaker in his full fox form. 4) Shadow Magic. The first ability not linked to his heritage as a Kitsune is his ability to use shadow magic. Unlike dark magic, shadow magic is exactly what it sounds like as it manipulates and enhances shadows. This allows Tetroneaque to become invisible when he is covered by shadows, stretch shadows out from their natural positions to cover more area, muffle noises that come from areas covered in shadow, and even blind foes while they are in a shadow. While there are other abilities in this magical field he has yet to master those.

Skills: Ninja Training. Tetroneaque has studied the ninja arts, though never formally trained under any teachers. This self taught style focuses almost entirely on stealth and distraction, honing his skills at running, jumping, and dodging. He also picked up on other small tricks such as how to make smoke bombs.

Physical Weaknesses: Being small in stature he's actually rather physically weak. He can't actually stand up to prolonged combat very well at all. While being a Kitsune does give some advantages, it also has a few disadvantages as well. His enhanced senses also mean he is more prone to be affected by attacks that use soundwaves or gases to the point where even music being played too loudly is quite uncomfortable for him to be around. The other major weakness of being born a Kitsune is his tails as if anyone manages to actually grab a hold of any of them his entire body goes limp, putting him into a near full paralysis where all he can basically do is breath and blink.

Mental Weaknesses: Tetroneaque is terrified of two things, thunder and dogs. He's also a bit of a coward anyway and would prefer to run from a battle than to actually fight.

Equipment: Tetroneaque keeps a decent supply of tricks up his sleeves at all times. This consists of a lockpicking kit and a variety of smoke bombs. He also carries a about a dozen throwing blades as well for emergencies. He tends to wear a set of very loose robes with lots of pockets to store stolen items along with his usual equipment, not to mention being large enough to also keep his tails out of sight. His outfit also has a large, white and red Kitsune mask of Japanese make as he thinks he highly amusing to use it to mask his real face.

Personality: Tetroneaque is friendly and almost childlike most of the time. He tends to be rather gullible and easy to manipulate as well, which has gotten him into more than a fair bit of trouble that wasn't even his doing. This is especially true when it comes to pretty women as there isn't much he won't do for a pretty face that asks him nicely. What really tends to put him in hot water is his tendency to steal things, especially shiny and valuable things.

Place of Origin: Japan
History: Born to a loving Kitsune couple he spent most of his time in rural Japan. His parents taught him how to use his innate abilities as a Kitsune such as his transformation, Fox Fire, and honing his senses. His life was pretty simple and happy, but that came to an end when his parents were killed by demon hunters. While his parents were slain, they managed to get their son away... though he was left alone in the world. Tetroneaque spent years wandering around Japan, keeping to the outskirts of human settlements and the forests. Even though he knew the danger of humans he tended to sneak into their towns at night or watch them from a distance, occasionally he'd try to befriend them when they were in the forests and if they were few in number. Of course most tended to flee from him on sight, leaving him lonely and craving friends. For a time he even stayed near a clan of ninjas, observing them and their training from a safe distance for many years... even picking up a few tricks from them. His curiousty got the better of him eventually as he went into the ninja clan's stronghold to try and learn more about them, which ended in him being captured. Instead of killing him the ninjas imprisoned him inside a jade statue. Stuck in his lonely little prison he could still hear and see things, letting him learn a lot more. Yet being unable to really do anything also caused his latent magical abilities to manifest over the years, Shadow Magic.

After so many years imprisoned that he lost count he became quite adept at using his Shadow Magic to manipulate his surroundings. Eventually the truth of him being inside the statue was lost to time and the odd happenings surrounding his statue made many think it was cursed. After a rival ninja clan wiped out the clan that had captured him he was taken as a prize by the winners, thinking him nothing more than an ornate jade statue. He was traded about often as his powers continued to manifest, and eventually found his way into the hands of a collector in England. His years in captivity in England allowed him to learn the English language, though his magical influence continued to cause any who owned his statue to come to think of it as cursed. Even more time passed and he was donated to a museum in America, where he was passed around on tour until winding up in Jump City. It was here that he finally got free as a set of thieves tried to steal the 'Jade Fox' but ended up breaking it as they were confronted by some hero or another. By breaking his statue they set him free and he ran off into the night, happy to be free but also eager to learn all he could about this new modern world.

Sample rp: Tetroneaque sat in a shadowy alley as he watched the humans going about their business. They were always so busy no matter the time of day it seemed, never taking a break. So many people made him nervous, and the noise of the city was still hard to get used to. The stench of the nearby dumpster had him eager to move from his hiding spot, making him rethink his plans for next time he did something like this.

Just as he was getting bored he heard a noise that caused his ears to perk up. The distinct rumbling or a large vehicle catching his full attention as it rolled into view on the other side of the street. Tetroneaque smiled behind the mask he wore, giggling a bit in anticipation. The armored van was what the humans loved to store their best stuff in, and it was so much easier to get into than the humans thought too. All it took was a lot of patience, great timing, a liberal use of skill, and a bit of luck. Thankfully Tetroneaque was feeling lucky tonight.

The security guards in the van got out of their vehicle and unlocked the back. The driver stayed inside while the other two did the heavy lifting, literally. The two uniformed men stayed near the back of the van as another guard brought out several bundles from the building. It wasn't a bank, so they were a bit more lax than usual. Tetroneaque watched the traffic moving by as well as the guards at work. Then he saw his opening.

As the traffic light turned red the little Kitsune dashed out from hiding and bounded onto the nearest car's roof. He leaped quickly to the next car roof, then the next, clearing the entire street in a few seconds. He landed next to the armored van, rolling under it to avoid being seen. Feeling a bit safer now that he wasn't so out in the open he watched the guards' feet move about as they collected the bundles and loaded them into the back of the vehicle. When his moment came he moved swiftly.

Tetroneaque broke from his cover, grabbed two bundles from the back of the van and bounced from car top to car top until he landed back on the other side of the street. His timing had been impeccable, the guards hadn't even seen him come or go but they'd be missing the items he'd stolen any moment now. Sure enough his keen ears picked up a bit of a commotion coming from the uniformed humans as an argument broke out. Tetroneaque didn't stick around to find out what they decided to do, instead of running off into the night as he congratulated himself on another job well done. He was going to be eating good tonight!
