A long time coming (Invite only)

Well her attempt to leave didn't end quite as she planned. Ella just wanted to make sure that everyone was okay, just one last check before she headed off but... they all convinced her to stay. With her last visit with Harmon... well if you'd call that a visit, he told her where the Titans were staying if she ever needed someone to fall back to and well.. she did.. Ella regained hope when she was with Fen, she even saw the two people that claimed to be new Titans, they gave her hope.. Up until they sided with murderers, that's when Ella knew she needed to bring the real Titans back. The ones that took the harder route because no matter what, killing was wrong.
With that being said, Ella and Fen made their way to this hide out they were in, unsure of what to do as they approached it.. Hopefully they were here and she didn't mess anything up.

Ella was taking point on this one, and Fenrir was fine with that. She used her relationship with the Titan's leader to figure out where their headquarters was after the attack, and they were going to try and gather the old team back up. It had been a few days since the giant T spotlight appeared in the sky, but according to Ella and her contacts those were not the real Titans. He'd seen something on the news about them participating in a brutal raid in broad daylight that cost many people their lives.

"You're sure this is the place?"

Fenrir called to Ella, nose twitching as he searched for a scent. He was starting to feel like they might have come to the wrong place or something. He kept his senses sharp, in case it was another kidnapping attempt... though he'd love to see someone try to kidnap Ella while he was here. He imagined it'd be significantly harder.

'A hunt!'
'Or a test of patience...'

As they walked into the address that Harmon had given her, Ella just took in every detail of the shop, using her photographic memory to her advantage. She was careful when she tip toed around, trying not to knock anything out of place just in case someone was in here, you never knew.
Fen asked if they were in the right place, making Ella let out a sigh as she read the white board. "Well this is where he told me to go..." The girl explained, going over all the Chinese specials before her eyes landed on the last row.. Titans' Fortune Special... That sly fox. Ella grinned and put her finger on the board, looking at Fen. "We're in the right place... but of course he left a puzzle for us to solve..." She explained while tapping on the board.. Fortune Special 6.99.... Fortune Special 6.99... what could that mean?

Ella wandered around the Chinese shop and picked up the old telephone, dust flying in the air she did so. The girl dialed 6.99... only for nothing to happen, there was no power.. Okay what else?
As her eyes scanned the scene once more until they stopped on the lucky cat.. the cat of good Fortune. DUH! And what happened to be next to it!? The only other thing with numbers on it! "I got it!" Ella cheered as she hurried to the cash register, typing in 6.99.

Fenrir wasn't convinced this was the place. Not yet. He didn't doubt Ella's memory, he knew her long enough to know how impeccable that was, but perhaps Hotwire had to abandon it? Or worse, maybe they were found and captured. He didn't want to admit that as a possibility, but it very well was one.
Ella didn't seem to consider it though. That was good, because if it wasn't for her optimism, he wasn't sure he would have figured out that there was some sort of hidden code here. She had a eureka moment and hit some buttons on the register with an unmatched excitement. Fen was waiting for something to happen...

"Uhhh... You sure you got it?" He asked, trying to peek at what she was doing, only for one of the old floorboards to bust under his boot. He stumbled, grabbing the cats arm to try and stabilize himself but... the arm lowered like a lever and Fenrir found that up to his ankle was caught in the floor now. "Oh what the Hell..."

As soon as she pushed in the number at the cash register, Fen bumped into the cat, triggering other things Harmon had set up. Ella missed most of the fancy stuff he laid out because she was bent over trying to un wedge Fen's foot from the floor. "You know if this was the wild you'd be DEAD!" Ella told him jokingly, pulling his foot out finally just when the message started. It was from Harmon! They did it!
The blonde stood up and listened to him, her heart breaking when he said that setting up a new place has been difficult.. Man this sucked... they needed help.. luckily Fen and Ella could give them man power, but they'd need more than that. After that Harmon pointed out the obvious and said the key and the address would take them to the actual base, Ella nodding and looking at the strip of paper. Once she memorized the address, she ripped it and crumpled it into a ball. "You know... It would have been kind of funny if someone else got the message and it was still addressed to me." She noted, chuckling slightly before turning to Fen. "You wanna do some real secret spy work? Swallow this paper so no one can piece together the address!" Ella asked him, mostly seeing if he was willing to do it. She placed her question as a challenge almost, trying to egg him on.

Nonetheless, whether Fen decided to or not to swallow the paper, Ella would lead him to the next address where the Titans were waiting for them.

Ella bent over and grabbed his leg, trying to help him rip it out of the flooring that trapped it. When they finally got it out, the teen stumbled back, bumping his head into a cabinet and letting out a curse. "This old piece of trash restaurant is trying to kill me. It's a friggin' deathtrap..."
He grumbled, rubbing the back of his head where he thought there might have been a bump if he didn't heal so fast. Before he had the chance to have another battle with the aged wood architecture, a message came to life. It was specifically designated to Ella, which meant this wasn't some drop point for all old Titan's to get a lead back to the base. It was specifically for Ella.

Just how close were those two, exactly? He wondered.
'Too close.' The sinister voice in his head answered.
'Relax... holding on too dearly pushes your loved ones away.'

As usual,, Lamb was the voice of reason. He listened and decided not to let his jealous tendencies get the better of him. Ella seemed oblivious to the conversation going on in his mind, and was telling him to swallow the paper.
He snorted and rolled his eyes. "Y'know, I think swallowing is more your expertise, Love. I've seen it in action. You're really good at it. Like no gag reflex or something. That sounds like your job. I'll be on the lookout for malicious traps built into the frame of this shack."

Fen made an inappropriate joke, making her punch him in the side before going to the next address. They arrived at this alleyway in no time, Ella making her way to a door that made her heart flutter when she opened it.. Only for it to drop completely when it opened to a brick wall.. That sucked. Her emotions were obviously splayed on her face as she searched around looking for something when her eyes landed on a small key hole.. Of course! Ella happily bounced as she pointed at it, trying to get Fen's attention. "Okay all we need is a key and we're home free!" She explained as she ran around, they had to leave a spare key around here, especially if they knew Ella was coming.
The girl got on her stomach and squeezed half of her body underneath a dumpster, seeing... nothing.. where could that darn key be!? She kept on thinking of spots until... THE CANISTER! DUH!? Getting the canister from earlier, Ella would pull it out and approach the door. Was this is? Was this the Hub?

Fen was nursing his new bruise on his side that he proudly earned with his joke as they made their way to the new address. Ella seemed to be so excited she was tripping over herself. She opened the door and visibly deflated when it was just a brick wall. Fen spotted the key hole quickly, but she was faster to open her mouth. "Don't you already have the-"
He cut himself off when he saw her trying to crawl under the dumpster. He backed up a step and admired the fact that ger rear was sticking out so well for a moment. In the time he was distracted, Ella figured out the missing piece. She climbed out and pulled the key from the canister in a real eureka moment.

"Oh, right, the key was there the whole time. How could we forget?"
He'd stay close, looming over her protectively as she opened the brick wall door. He had no idea what to expect.

She was just frantic and.. anxious.. Fen didn't have to make fun of her! Instead of a smart response she stuck her tongue out, only for a soft glow to emit from the wall. Finally a pod like thing would appear surrounded by water... only for... Harmon! He said she found the dead drop and closed the portal after Meta stepped out. Ella immediately jumped and wrapped her arms around Harmon's neck, finally relived after all this craziness. "I'm so happy you guys are okay." She told him, letting go of his neck and crashing into Meta. She knew he wasn't an.. affectionate guy but.. she couldn't help herself! After seeing that battle broadcasted on news stations for what felt like years.. she was just so worried.
Finally Ella stopped hugging him, smiling like an idiot. "Thank you guy for letting us come... This is Fen by the way, my partner in crime." Ella introduced while nudging him in the side.

Despite Fen trying to stand protectively behind her, unsure what might be waiting on the other side... Ella was less cautious. She sprinted in and latched herself around the ginger boy's neck which made Fen's jaw clench tightly. He was naturally a jealous type and Wolf was certainly no help in the matter. So he settled for biting his cheek and letting Ella make her rounds, hugging the beast of a man that was Meta. The giant barely seemed to notice. He seemed like he was rather laid back, while Hotwire's excitement at seeing Ella was overwhelmingly apparent. It was going to be a long day.

Then she remembered that Fen existed, and came over and nudged his side. Partners in crime? Is that what they were? He frowned a bit, feeling like that was a bit of an understatement.
"Nice to meet you guys."

He made sure to keep it brief, holding a hand out for a handshake. Both men would find it firm, like Fen was putting more than the normal strength into his grip.
