Bow vs Ida

Bow waited for the girl to charge at her. What would be her next move? Just as she was beginning to think of attacking herself, Ida threw another ball of fire. The pink haired girl just let it hit her, pouting lightly. "I can't absorb it, but that doesn't mean I'm not resistant to it!" She sighed, now just getting curious. The girl thought of an idiotic idea, but she couldn't help herself.

The girl took off in flight, soaring right above Ida and then unleashing a torrent of fire straight at her, wanting to see how much the girl could absorb.

Ida growled softly, she was resistant to fire! Now I definitely have to use physical attacks, and landing one will be hard with her flying n all, she thought. Crap! Bow then flew into the air again, and started to bombard Ida with more fire. The masked teen was able to absorb most of the first part of the attack, but then she was hit, the fire burning her mask and making it fall off. Ida hissed angrily in pain, Ffffffff!!. Ida, now a bit angry, put her hand up and shot a red fiery ray at Bow, even though she knew it wouldn't affect her.

Bow smiled as she had learned what she needed to. It seemed Ida's body could only resist flames up to a certain point. How very interesting. Though, that being said, Bow was sure there was a limit to how much fire she could handle too. However, she wasn't planning on figuring out where that line was.

As Ida blasted the deeper red fire tower at her, Bow quickly swerved out of the way, the flames licking at her heels though. "Well that's hotter than before... So, the more fire you absorb, the more intense your flames become... How cool is that!?" She giggled. The girl loved to learn about new powers and the way different people's powers worked. "Let's see how hot you can get!!" Bow began flying around erratically, throwing volleyball sized fire balls at the girl.

Ida's tail puffed out in anger, Bow's cheerful nature, while refreshing for the most part, was adding to her flames of internal anger, Plus She keeps learning about my abilities! Nékos would scold the crap out of me for letting my opponent know so much in battle!, the now unmasked teen thought to herself. Now there was nothing really keeping Bow from reading her expression. Ida was about to shoot a remark at Bow for her giggling, but she was suddenly faced with waves of fire balls.

With the mask gone, nothing could hide Ida's look of fear filled urgency as she tried her hardest to absorb all the fire being thrown at her, but sometimes she'd fail and would quickly had to absorb the fire that had started on her clothes. On top of that, she felt a burning pressure start to grow inside her chest, I can't keep absorbing these for long, I think I'm gonna explode!!, she thought. One of the fire balls would hit and make her loose her balance, the teen would fall on the flying boulder, and would try to scramble back to her feet, she had to get that bubbly rainbow wizard out the freaking sky or she was gonna die!

As soon as she saw Ida loose balance, the girl flew down to about four feet from the ground, firing a straight beam of fire at the girl to try and throw her off the boulder. If she got to close to her, she would fly upwards and away from her. She knew that hand to hand combat would be the death of her.

When hit with the stream of fire, Ida was knocked off of the boulder, flailing her arms as she plummeted. The masked teen was tempted to let out one last stream of fire at Bow, but she knew it wouldn't do any good, Well crap...Wished this could've went another way..., Ida thought hopelessly.

The combatants were returned to the lobby, all of their wounds healed and their energy rejuvenated. They were informed that they could stay in the tournament to spectate, and that if they had lost a match, they were free to return home. They were also informed that fighting was forbidden outside of the arena.
