Blake vs Eric

Setting: The contestants appeared in a giant metal vessel, furnished with large consoles and screens all with complicated buttons and sequences. The system was currently locked, unable to be accessed digitally by anyone other than the maker, and when the contestants looked around a bit, they could see narrow, winding passageways, and very thick glass panels showing they were in the outer reaches of space.

SPECIAL: If a contestant is defenestrated and cannot survive in open space, they are immediately disqualified. This applies to any cases in which a window is broken, though this would require a lot of force.

First Blood: Eric

Blake blinked her eyes open, and Eric was already on her. "Whichever ones I please." She said simply. She saw his body shift as he pulled out the weapon, and she quickly drew her bow, docking back a blunt arrow. She knew exactly what that was, considering how many times Kyte had her read over Eric's file.

"I don't recommend throwing that." As it left his hand, Blake let go of her arrow, nailing the sound bomb. That's when the arrow triggered and exploded, right on the money.

((I'm going to disregard the gunfire for now considering there was an explosion right in front of Eric's face. Lemme know if I need to edit.))

Blake seamlessly swapped between her weapons, changing over to Gambol Shroud and its sharpened Sheath. "I don't see how I could be any more clear." She said simply, charging to meet him halfway, using her Gambol Shroud to block every bullet on the way there, deflecting them in every possible direction.

Blake saw him pull another of those weapons her way, and this time it was close enough to hit. She took a swing at it with the unbreakable sheath and...it didn't break. Instead it stuck right onto Gambol Shroud. She hissed as she realized what it was and threw Gambol Shroud across the room, and Eric turned to the window. That was all she needed.

She swapped to her bow again, activating one of the smokescreen arrows in her quiver with a button press on her bow. There was a click sound and the room was filled to the brim with black smoke so thick that not even Blake could see. Luckily, she didn't need to, not with senses like hers.

She used her speed to move back through the door to the nearby hallway, drawing back 3 explosive arrows as she went. She didn't know how much she needed to break that window, she honestly had no clue. So she'd take a shot in the dark and say 3 breaching charges would be more than enough. They sailed into the room, impacting in three seperate spots on the window unless Eric stopped them, and detonating on the spot, shattering the window.

If all went according to plan, Blake would use her remaining Katana piece of Gambol Shroud to stab into the wall of the hallway, and use the doorframe to survive the power of the dark void outside the station that would try to suck both of them right out the door with the oxygen in the room.

The combatants were returned to the lobby, all of their wounds healed and their energy rejuvenated. They were informed that they could stay in the tournament to spectate, and that if they had lost a match, they were free to return home. They were also informed that fighting was forbidden outside of the arena.
