Versailles sang quietly as she walked through the park, occasionally stopping to tear off a bit of a bun and crumble it in her hand so she could feed it to the little birds that stayed through the winter. There was something almost ritualistic about the way she did it, a sacred aura that people tried not to disturb as they passed by. She wasn’t really sure why they did so. All she was doing was feeding the birds.

The fox girl eventually ran out of bread while wandering the park and lay down beneath a tree. A deep sigh escaped her lips as she mused about the city she was in now. It certainly wasn’t any kind of city she was used to. nor was it an isolated base. Her mind eventually turned to the stories she’d heard. Super heroes and villains, outright wars in the middle of the city. If it weren’t for the fear of getting hit by someone in one of said battles, Versailles would have been running around town following a hero.

Kyte walked through the park, carrying a bag with him. It only had a few small things in it, like batteries, as he was only making a small run to get some needed things for the house. He walked by some young girl who was feeding the birds, which brought a small smile to his face. It was nice to see a normal girl out here, doing something so simple as feeding the bir-

Kyte stopped, tilting his head curiously at...seemingly nothing, since he was past Versailles at that point. He pondered. Normal girls didn't have fox ears. And it wasn't some kind of wacky cosplay. He turned around in time to see Versailles go sit under a tree. He opened up his phone, took a picture, and sent it to Nina. You didn't tell us you had some relatives in town.

Nina woke up with a start, another slow afternoon at the comic store as her text tone would sound off, looking at her text very confused and replying "I don't, I don't know her, she must be from another clan" she texted, she would look around at the empty store...it would be interesting to finally meet a new kitsune...she would grab her jacket and turn the sign to "on a break" before heading to the park "you are at the park right?" she texted Kyte, she had just assumed with the grass and tree that it was the park.

Kyte checked his phone after making sure that the fox wasn't going anywhere. Yeah, I'm at the park. And that's interesting. Another kitsune popping up in Jump City? It was odd enough that you showed, let alone two. He kept the phone handy. He didn't want to approach her because it might have been creepy. ...wait, he was smoother than the cream cheese you spread on your bagle every morning. He wasn't creepy.

He approached the woman nonchalantly with a kind smile on his face. He bowed his head slightly in greeting. "Hello there. I saw you feeding the birds earlier. Welcome to Jump City, kitsune-chan."
