| Greed had planned this one for a while. Not exactly because he had to. It would be easy to shoot out the glass and grab what he wanted quickly. It was a game at this point, really. To see if he could do it without setting off the alarms. Besides, with Titans becoming more active, best to be safe.
He stood behind the jewelry store, yawning. It was nearly time... the door opened quickly, and Greed jumped to action. The guard that was coming out couldn't react to Greed's gun in time before he dropped lifelessly to the ground. Greed kicked the poor saps foot into the door before shutting it. "They always said smoking kills..."
He snatched the cigarette from the dead guards hand, it only had a drop of blood on it when Greed lit it between his own lips. Now all that was left was the motion detectors inside the lobby, a few door locks... nothing he couldn't handle. He snatched the guards ID badge, then went to the locker to put on a security shirt and hat. Just in case anyone walked by.
He sauntered to the computer, typing and typing for a few minutes. After a while though, the words "System Deactivated" appeared on the screen. Perfect. Then he wiped the cameras before turning those off as well. Next, Greed grabbed a duffle bag from the lockers.
The progress from here on out took something like an hour. The cases were double locked. One key, the guard had, the other key belonged to the owner. Greed picked one lock then opened the other with the key at the same time. An impressive feat, considering if he messed up alarms would go off loudly.
This left him with the last piece trial. Escape.
He stepped out the front door, seeing that the coast was clear. At this point, it'd be dumb luck if anyone caught him. There was always that chance, though. Looking inside the store, it was hard to tell in the dark that the jewels were stolen. He'd left a few cheap diamonds in front on display. Partially to give him a cover story, partially because he didn't want cheap crap.

| "WARNING: FLIGHT ACTIVATED, THRUSTERS WORKING AT 10% CAPACITY WITH 99.87% EFFICIENCY" Within his armored suit, Riot sighed. This is what he got for stealing a prototype. He STILL couldn't find the bug in the suit's systems that was undoubtedly the cause of the issue. Thankfully the obnoxiously loud robotic voice was only audible to him thanks to his sealed helmet. His intimidating appearance already made too many innocent people uneasy without the added help from his suit screaming every notification as an urgent warning like Microsoft Sam with tourettes.
He was currently flying slowly about 50 feet from the ground, drifting lazily compared to what he was capable of. In all honesty he was just killing time. He couldn't sleep, he never could when he first moved in, and his new home in Jump City was no different. He would be fine in a week or two, but for now he silently wandered the city, working to commit the many streets to memory as he slowly formed a mental map. It was far more productive than staring at the ceiling for hours on end. Unfortunately, he now found himself lost. He stopped in midair, looking around. Hadn't he been here yesterday? He muttered under his breath as he took another look. No. He could have merely pulled up a map of the city with the suit, but that would require listening to it's annoying voice again. Not to mention the fact that it would undermine his attempts at memorization.
He took another look around, then closed his eyes and took a deep breath. He let it out slowly, letting his mind wander to his memories of the previous day. Yes. He had been here. It had been during the day, when the shops were open and the streets had been crowded. But he had definitely been here. He opened his eyes and looked down at the street once more. There. That was the burger place he'd wanted to try! Right across from the jewelers. He'd definitely have to remember this street when his first paycheck came. There really wasn't anything school could teach him, so he didn't bother. Instead he'd gotten a job at an electronics store. The work was good, but he couldn't wait until payday. Until then his budget only allowed for instant noodles. But wait! Who was that? Leaving the jewelry store at such a late hour? And why did they have such a large duffle bag? Nobody went to the gym at this time of night. Was there a guard change? Every jewelry store Riot had ever been in barely had a bathroom, let alone a place to change. Though he had to admit, he hadn't exactly been in many.
But the question remained: This guy wasn't dressed like a guard, and was leaving the jewelry store late at night through the front door. What was he up to? The armored giant landed before Greed with a tremor that only just avoided damaging the concrete below him. Think, Steve, think. This is your first real impression since breaking up that robbery here in this city. Whatever you do, DON'T say something stupid, and DON'T make a meme reference. He used his chin to click a small button within his helmet, and his voice was amplified through his helmet speaker, coming out harsh and robotic - not at all dissimilar to his suit's internal voice. He liked to think he sounded like MechaCop - a childhood hero of his from a movie he'd snuck from his parents.
"Swiggity swag, what's in the bag?" Internally, he facepalmed, though he refused to actually make the gestre. Good job idiot. No more mindless internet for you.He rolled his eyes as he thought to himself, the gesture thankfully invisible to the man before him. He would just have to roll with that one and hope it didn't make him look like a moron. Who was he kidding? Of course it did. He'd just have to recover.

| Greed thought he was home free, already counting the money in his head. He was almost on autopilot at this point. Sometimes he wishes he could go back to the days where he was new at this and things got exciting every once in a while. Sometimes. He still appreciated the free loot too much to give it up though.
That's when things got interesting. A giant metal monster landed in front of him, threatening to crack the concrete below. This wasn't planned on. Greed went through the plan again, trying to find where he went wrong. Maybe it was just dumb luck that caught him? This guy could either be a hero or a new villain...
"Swiggty swag what's in the bag."
...or an idiot. Greed sighed. Who gave an idiot such an intimidating looking robot?
"I'm not in a position to reveal something like that. Who are you? Another thief? This city, I swear..." Greed mumbled, trying to keep his cover up. "I'll let you know, my cover is supposed to be here in a few minutes. If he notices I'm missing, you'll have Titan's on your tail in minutes. You don't look like you're quite quick enough to run, aa?"
