What it's made from: a mix of ruby and a unknown metal
What it can do:Can absorb any physical blow and transfer the force into the next strike of the wielder of the sword and shield they also act like Brother Grim's scythes and makes a body part unusable when they would normally cut it off and make someone pass out if it would be a fatal wound unless wielder wants to harm their opponent    
What it's for:combat
Weaknesses/Counters:you must hold both for the powers to work the only time the powers work without the other
Side-effects, if any:you must give up temporary a power to use the powers of the sword and shield

History (Optional):The sword and shield where created before Jonathan(Brother Grim) had his scythes made they where his primary weapons before then. They where crafted from a metal that he retrieved from a asteroid that crashed to earth on a mission. It took him and his three friends months to figure out how to work the metal. when the answer came to them by accident when one set some of it near one of their ruby rings and the metal fused to it. They however would not find out about its ability till Jonathan first took the sword and shield into battle. When his wife Lily got hurt in battle and he was several feet away and had to fight his way to her as he was checking on her a enemy came and tried to harm him she warned him and he swung around with his shield striking the man but where shocked when the man went flying over 900ft.

After several lives and he had swapped to his scythes he gifted the sword to his mortal families line this came back to haunt him as during the rain of king authur a grandchild of his used the sword and shield to challenge one of king authors allies to a dual and took over the mans kingdom  luckily Merlin knew of Jonathan at the time going under the name Lancelot and contacted him for help he did so and never let the sword and shield out of his sight and they became his weapons as sir Lancelot of the round table. Right before he passed on Jonathan had Merlin put a spell on the weapons and it transferred to all his weapons besides his scythes that they would forever remain hidden till he summoned one to him and that would in turn awaken the others to being found and a chance for all to claim them. If more than one tried to claim the same weapon they would enter the shadow realm where it would twist a game that both opponent knew into a epic battle ground till one got to the weapon or the other lost. Merlin would then bring them to the vault that Jonathan had made and give them a choice keep the weapon till their life's end or lay it in the vault till the next time Jonathan called on the weapons or they where stuck in another grimlock battle and had to offer it up as where the rules of the spell (ex:hopscotch standing on thousand foot pillars and have to jump across to next one while the one you stand on crumbles while fighting your enemy. loser falls off and is returned to real world or the person that reaches or touches the weapon first gets weapon)


spell explanation:First battle is free for all with natural abilities if you have or have had a grimlock battle and won the weapon you must offer it up to enter into the battle winner of battle gets all items as reward and the choice is theirs if they want to keep them or place them into vault. however if you have won a battle and placed the weapon in vault and are part of another battle you can summon the weapon to use in the battle however you must still give up a power while weapon is in use
