Um...hello..(Bteam thread.)

When Leo arrived he just quietly watched as the teacher would explain just about everything. He wasn't too sure about the world being their teacher and such but what he was sure that he needed to train his powers. He had a feeling that he had one of the weaker powers in the room. What exactly was his power good for?

He wondered who would be a good fit for his power. Frankly he thought that his power would be useless in this kind of situation. Wasn't like he could touch them... or that they could touch him for that matter. Yet still he had to find someone, it would be terrible to be the only one without a partner. Taking a deep breath, he would say.

"So we can pick anyone? Alright... lets see..." He wondered who to pick. He would prefer someone with an offensive power so that he can work on his skills. Seeing as the sword kid and metal fist chick had already picked up a partner he had to try for another potentially offensive opponent. Sighing he scanned through his classmates. Remembering some of the powers that were mentioned he looked at Ella. "Ella, may I ask that you help me with some training?"

Leo didn't expect a yes out of ella but he thought he might as well considering she had what Leo considered the 2nd most dangerous power in the class. Amber's being a close second in Leo's opinion. Yet she had the most offensive capability in Leo's eyes which would make for a good sparring partner for him.

Titus smiles slightly as the hyper girl ruffles his hair. She seemed nice..Then the teacher begins his speech, and he stares wide eyed, slightly awed. Ya, this was his fate...his job. This class will help him become who he was meant to be! Then the slightly(okay, very) itidimating girl calls on him as a partner. He reddens, nodding.' Uh oh....I really hope I don't embarrass myself...' He notices Amber seeming zoned out. She seemed nic, if odd, and yes, slightly creepy.Then he realizes what she must be doing.'Amber...ello...Please be careful....' As the shy boys thinking at her, he opens his bag, pulling out a reinforced vest and what appears to be a standard airsoft mask, though it was actually reinforced with hidden metal plates, putting these on and walking in front of Vi, forming a wall." I...I'm ready..."

Marina followed the teacher and watched him as he spoke '....words....they no makith sense.... good thing mom told me this class was to train my power thats probably what were doing now!' she thought as everyone started pairing up. She looked around and saw Amber and malcom being the only two left. Amber looked like she was probably solo training with her powers which she siad was reading minds....

Marina misteviously smiled and thought shouted pushing her head forward towards amber clenching her eyes shut. 'HI DOES IT HURT WHEN ISHOUT THINK!?' she thought to her before looking to Malcom and running up to him. "Hi see I smell wanna Be see my part knee?!"

Of course it was the weird one that comes up to him. Malcolm sighed, he had his hopes set on Target(Ella), but it seemed that Rival(Leo) had gotten to her before he could make his move. And he had Weirdo(Marina) to deal with now. With a quick scan, he saw that everyone was paired up. The females at least. So, he needed to ditch Weirdo so he could slack off. Heeding not the words of the teacher.

  Although he did think about the teacher for a moment. He was almost positive none of the other educators could leap out of a window and land as if it were an everyday occurrence. Who exactly was Mr. Black?

  But he had to think of the present. And in the present he had Marina in his personal space asking to be 'part-knees'. Which he had no interest in whatsoever. So, thinking quickly he formulated an escape route.

"Uh... Yeah sure let's be partners. You can smell or something right. Let me help you train." He dove in his pocket and produced a wad of chewing gum with a wrapper covering it. "I dropped like seven or eight of these things around on the way over here from the classroom. Use that super sniffer of yours and find them." He threw the gum out into the field. It was a lie of course, he had done no such thing. But whether she bought it or not was of no concern to him. He found a place on the bleachers and plopped himself down, enjoying his free period.

Piero shrugged at Eli's question. “You would think so. For some reason, I can't actually touch the weapons I create. They just disappear.” He crossed his arms, considering something. “But together, I think you and I could do some real damage. You provide the quick attack, I provide the weapon.” It seemed to Piero that he had found, quite by chance, the best match for his abilities.

But they had to test their abilities. Doing that required some means of measurement. Piero considered their options for a second. He had no doubt that Eli could run laps around any student here if he wanted to. He also didn't know how he could personally fail to create a weapon. So what challenge was there for either one of them?

His eyes turned to their teacher. He said that the world would be their teacher, but technically, helping them understand their powers was Mr. Black's job.

“I have an idea. I get the feeling that there's a little more to Mr. Black than we know. Let's see if, together, we can hit him.” He held out his hand towards Eli. A murky orb of shadow appeared next to his classmate. “Reach inside. The weapon will take the form of your choice.”

There seemed to be a few rules to Piero's power. Eli would need to choose from purely melee weapons, and there would be nothing special about them. The chosen weapon would be of high quality, for sure, but it couldn't be anything magical. Piero could only guess what type of weapon would fit a speedster.

Meanwhile, Mr. Black studied Vi's handiwork. The teen girl had managed to essentially destroy a massive pole with a single punch. She was powerful, and she knew it. Vi asked if she needed to fix the damage she had done. “How exactly would you fix it?” He asked. “Do you have the ability? But I suppose somebody should.”

Mr. Black pulled a small device out of his pocket and pressed a button. The huge pole that Vi had knocked down suddenly stood back up, repairing itself. It was a seemingly impossible feat.

“This stadium has been built with quite impressive technology. It is capable of repairing itself, eventually. This was only minor damage, but given enough time, this stadium could essentially rebuild itself. The technology is not new, but only recently has Jump City started using this type of construction. You see, when aliens, Russians, and rogue meta-humans attack, the city gets leveled. A city that repairs itself, however, cannot be broken. If you hit that pole so hard I can't fix it, Vi, I will be impressed indeed.”

Mr. Black noticed that Malcolm was not training, as the others were. The boy seemed content to slack off. Mr. Black looked at Malcolm intently, and began walking towards him, slowly. It was a test of wills. If Malcolm started training before Mr. Black reached him, the boy would not be disciplined. While he wanted his students to learn at their own pace, there was one rule in Mr. Black's class.

Everyone pulled their weight.

Eli listened as his classmates explained that his weapons would disappear if they touched him, but by teaming up, they would be able to make the most of their powers. "I like where this is going. I'm probably not the most accurate, but give me something that lets me run right into people and they won't know what hit them." he replied, smiling at Piero's willingness to work together. As his partner surveyed the field, likely looking for something to train on, Eli would watch as their teacher responded to the girl with the gauntlets by pulling out and pressing a remote, apparently causing the goal post to repair itself. "...What is that and where can I get one?" the teen wondered out loud, clearly in awe of the demonstration. He was brought back to attention by Piero's assertion that the team's teacher had some secrets of his own, and his suggestion that they try to hit him.

"I hear you there. A guy who gets put in charge of a class full of metahumans definitely has more to him than meets the eye. This could be a pretty good chance to learn something about him." Eli replied, reaching out to the shadow that appeared in front of him and listening to Piero's instructions. The teen took a minute to think about the best weapon for the job. A sword probably wouldn't be bad, since I could just rush at him with the point forward. Then again, I'd hate to impale the teacher on the first day. Maybe something not as sharp? Looking around, Eli's eyes rested for a moment on Vi, and more specifically, on her gauntlets. Nodding in approval, the teen pulled his hand out of the portal, and with it, a gauntlet to go over his right hand. "Not the most original weapon, but it'll do for now. I mean, we're not trying to kill him, right?" the teen said as he put the gauntlet on. Eli looked over at the mysterious teacher, noticing that he was making his way over to Malcolm. Awesome. Look's like he'll be distracted for a bit. "Well, wish me luck!" he told Piero before dashing towards their teacher's back at top speed, his right hand extended out in front of him.

Amber was kind of zoned out, so she didn't notice anything going on around her until one of the girls in the class KNOCKED DOWN A GOALPOST! Yeah, safe to say that snapped her out of it, while she was staring, the girl who could smell good tried to 'think shout' at her, but sadly mind reading doesn't work that way, Amber wasn't reading her thoughts at the time so she couldn't hear it. Amber was quite interested to hear about the self repairing technology, so that's how the city always recovered so fast from emergencies. Amber noticed that two of the boys were up to something, but she didn't show any signs of noticing so as to not give them away.

Just sent her a PM. Give her a few days.
