Powers:

• Telepathy: Psychic power is common among Stella's people. And even at a young age, most of her people display some form of psionic capability. Stella isn't what you would call young (by her peoples' standards), and displays great telepathic ability that allows her to communicate mentally. She can also read minds with a small amount of effort. This ability also extends to opening up a "channel" where a group of people can communicate telepathically with each other. She is even able to open a "private" channel while still maintaining the open channel. Her telepathy's range extends up to 500m.

• Photographic memory: Self-explanatory, but Stella has a nearly perfect memory. She can learn new things really fast as a result of this, and only needs to be shown something once or twice before she knows how to do it perfectly. But this also depends on how complicated the thing she's trying to learn is. Making dinner is much more simple then building a rocket ship from scratch.
  
  
• Multi-tasking: Stella becomes very restless when she has nothing to do, and so resorts to multitasking to keep herself entertained. She can easily manage and juggle over a dozen simple tasks at once, and a few more complicated tasks. Though she has yet to fully attempt it, she could play several video games at once.
  
  
• Technology Savant: Her people are advanced technologically speaking, and are very well educated for the most part. As a child, Stella was fascinated by technology and used every chance she got to take something apart and put it back together again perfectly. She took every chance to listen in on any classes involving mechanical or technological studies. Compared to her peers, she's definitely a gear head. It's really only a matter of time before she comes to grip with the "inferior" technology of earth and improve on it.
  
  Equipment:
  
  
• Omni-Scanner: Located on either side of her eyes are two metal pieces that when triggered, generates a holographic display that spans across her eyes. Taking whatever Stella sees or is looking at, this device scans it and breaks it down into data that is put up on the display for her to see. Can also be minimized to cover one eye for firefight situations.
  
  
• Omni-Tool: Similar in function to her Omni-Scanner, a holographic display pops up from one of her wrists. This display is hardwired into her exo-suit, allowing her to not only make adjustments to different settings related to her suit, but it also allows her to interact with electronic devices wirelessly. It can also become an impromptu blade for melee attacks.
  
  
• Exo-suit: The lightweight, armored combat suit typically used by military operatives. The metals used are completely alien to those found on earth, and protect Stella from the elements, and extreme temperatures. However, kinetic weapons like firearms can do more then enough damage. Prolonged small arms fire can punch a hole through her armor, but anything military grade can easily put a hole through it. Comes with a "bubble" helmet that can be deployed for space or underwater excursions.
  
  
• Thrusters: Small, portable thrusters mounted behind her shoulders, and on her heels. While not powerful enough to allow full flight, they do allow Stella to quickly move out of harm's way, slow a fall, or leap up to twenty feet into the air.
  
  
  Weaknesses:
  
  
• EMP: EMP can damage or disrupt Stella's equipment, even completely knocking out her energy shield. High enough electricity can also short her equipment out. The only thing that isn't affected by either, is her Exo-Suit. But either will still knock out her Omni-Tool or scanner for a few seconds.
  
  
• Physically frail: Based on her slender body build, Stella isn't the most physically threatening person. None of her people are incredibly strong for that matter, only slightly weaker then that of your average human.
  
  
• Impatient: Stella hates waiting or being inactive for long periods of time. She doesn't mind so long as she has something to distract herself. But more often then not, she will overanalyze a situation and make an impulsive decision based on that.
  
  
• Secretive: Stella does not share everything with anyone. Infact, as is typical of her people, she will often lie or leave important details out. Some see this as paranoid, but Stella and her people see it as a counter to anyone who follows the doctrine of knowledge is power. The less people know about her, the longer they take to do her harm. But this does make it hard to trust her or see her as anything other then a manipulator.
  
  

Personality: Stella is alittle strange even by her people's standards. She is strong willed to the point that she defied her fate as a political kingpin. One quirk of hers that you'll either hate or find amusing, is the fact she rambles on and on when there's something interesting to talk about. Many would do this kind of thing in their head, but she prefers thinking out loud. Helps her memorize and quickly organize her thoughts with the use of hearing. She doesn't always do this, but it is one of her more prominent quirks.

Being young and ambitious, she is also very impatient and hates being inactive to the point she multi-tasks to keep from getting bored. She also views other people outside her species as slow or slow-witted, but that's just from her inability to deal with inactivity for long periods. She easily becomes restless or anxious if given nothing to do for too long. So it's actually surprising that she enjoys human video games so much, as nearly all video games aren't exactly productive. But when you play two or more of them at the same time, then it's more a matter of training your brain to multi-task. She especially enjoys puzzle games, and real time strategy games. Sandbox style games quickly lose interest and are 'run' in the background if necessary.

As far as what she thinks of humanity- She is naive and sees them as unpredictable, irrational, and barbaric. But she does not deny the potential and threat they pose, based on recent events with the Zydons. This opinion only stems from what she was taught, and may be changed later.

Another quirk or more like irritation is her tendency to completely invade your privacy. Another habit she picked up from her elders is that knowledge is power. Someone would call it paranoia, but it makes it easier to know who to trust the more about them she knows. Plus if they have some kind of weakness she can exploit should they betray her trust, then it was worth it in her opinion. There's still alot for her to learn about the universe, and she's still naive as far as dealing with other races go.

History: Stella's society is very old, if you look at their level of technology or culture. Even the Zydons' level of technology pales in comparison to their sophistication. Mostly reclusive, Stella's people ironically spend alot of time spying on their galactic neighbors. Knowledge is power. And if they catch any hint of hostilities, they are quick and ruthless to nip it in the bud. They believe it is foolish to know of an enemy's intent and do nothing about it. And there is no length they won't go to in order to avoid full out war if they can manage it, but that doesn't mean they don't have any kind of army or fleet. With their technological expertise, they use bleeding-edge technology that allows them to use lesser quantity.

They are very reclusive and prefer dealing with other "lesser" races indirectly through proxies or secondary agents. This has created an enigmatic and unknowable image in the minds of their neighbors, which is used to great advantage. They have been aware of Earth since primitive man, perhaps sooner. And they may or may have not been involved with meddling in humanity's evolution, and are still meddling to a lesser degree today. They may or may have also meddled in recent affairs with the Zydons, but this would be speculation as there is no proof to support it. It simply helps maintain the mysterious image other races view them.

Stella is the daughter of one of the more prominent clan leaders, effectively making her a princess in terms of influence or importance. The whole of her people are made up of a series of clans and houses which work independently toward their own personal goals, and collaborating with each other for the sake of their people as a whole. It would be a lie if someone told you that there wasn't any rivalry between clans, or that everyone got along peacefully with one another. But this way seems to work on different levels despite this fact.

Stella as aforementioned being a young woman, was destined to one day take the reigns of leadership of her clan. As is tradition, women typically remain cloistered on their homeworlds and wield the political power as they see fit. There have been very, very few exceptions to this. Displaying an innate affinity for technology, Stella saw a different path before her instead of the one laid out by her elders. So when she saw her chance to make a run for it, she stole a ship and fled to Earth!

She isn't, and at the moment I'm... debating on whether or not to continue. To make a long story short, I feel restless and am facing the dozens of other character ideas I've considered. Stella may still be here, or she might be someone completely different. If you want to delete this profile go ahead, but I could just replace the profile with whatever I choose should I go a different route.
