Subject: Sleepover Funtime (Ama, open to HIVE gals) Wed Dec 24, 2014 3:27 pm

Nina finished emptying a bag of doritos into a large bowl, placing some dip next to it as she waited for her buddies to join her, all the take out menus on the coffee table too, Nina would then put on some decent music and get dressed into her pjs for the night she then sat back on her sofa and waited for her guests to arrive, if only one of them came it would still be fun.

It was time to have some fun. They deserved it, HIVE that is. Nina had set up a sleepover, inviting the gals of HIVE over for whatever it was she had in store for them. Of course, this wasn’t something that Quinn would attend in most scenarios. She’d much rather be out at night, looming over some helpless target and striking without mercy. But exceptions had to be made, and this was a worthy one. Tossed out like yesterday’s garbage by the Guild, it was time to build new bridges (stronger bridges) with the members of HIVE. It was time to shed the skin of the assassin whom the Guild had turned Quinn into, and be someone else.

And there Quinn was, stood outside Nina’s store in midtown Jump City. For once at this time of the evening, Quinn wasn’t out to complete a contract kill. It was… weird. Quinn had been led to believe that her assassin gear was not appropriate for such an occasion. Which is why she stood outside in casual dress; tank top, tight jeans, knee-high boots, and a big fluffy winter coat, with a sleepover bag over her shoulder. She remained stood there, outside the front door of the store as on the door was a sign that said; ‘CLOSED’. A few moments passed, with Quinn pondering what to do. Does she ring the bell? Break in? No, that… that would not be good. Instead Quinn proceeded to walk to one side of the building, to which an alleyway was located with a large dumpster for any waste. On the side of the building however, Quinn noticed a drain pipe – excellent. With both hands gripping the pipe, the Snake-girl would begin her climb up the pipe up. Alas she reached a window, and would peer inside to see Nina sitting there, waiting. One hand gripping the pipe, Quinn used her other hand to lightly knock on the window, hoping to get Nina’s attention.

Nina would hear the knock and suddenly turn to the window, smiling at her friend and opening the window for her "you could have just rung the bell" she said with a chuckle "but either way I'm glad you turned up buddy, make yourself at home" she said happily, the inside would be a whole lot warmer than the outside with the feint tune of something nostalgic coming from the speakers connected up to Nina's iPod.

"I could have, but... not my style". Quinn would say as she made her way through the window and into the room. It was like a blast of heat when she first stepped in, a drastic change to the bitterly cold outdoors. It was a welcome change however, and Quinn did as she always did when arriving somewhere new. She scanned the place, glancing around as she liked to know what's what. "No wonder you prefer staying here...". It was a big upgrade on the oil rig in terms of comfort, that's for sure. It appeared that Nina had gone to some trouble with the sleepover, now lets hope others show up. Because a sleepover was foreign to Quinn.

Nina moved back to her sofa and would be ready to answer the window or door to any other friends who came to her sleepover "feel free to snack on the doritos and pick out what you want to order, I've got the Chinese, Indian and Pizza menus on the table" she said as she laid back in her sofa with one of her legs crossed under the other while she reached over for a dorito and dipped it in the salsa before eating it happily.

"Awesome". Quinn would say as he dropped her sleepover bag down on the floor aimlessly. All it had in there was clothes, and what else is necessary for a sleepover. Quinn then stepped on over to where the menus were, grabbing the Indian and Pizza menus before falling down to sit on the sofa beside Nina. It was then that Quinn could begin to glance over the menus, doubled sided. There was every type of pizza you could want, any Indian dish that one could imagine. But nothing stuck out. "What do you fancy? I had a light lunch, so, doesn't bother me".

Nina shrugged "I could go for a chicken and sweetcorn BBQ pizza with cheesy bite crust" she said smiling as if she had already chosen her meal before the party even started, she put an arm around her friend casually and relaxed "I'm so glad we have this chance to just chill out and be girls, I don't get chance to meet other girls to socialise with" she spoke cheerily.

You have to say, Nina was on point. There was no hesitation with her order, no sense of doubt with how quickly she replied. It did push Quinn towards selecting something off the pizza menu though. "I will have the...". Insert pause for deep thought. "...'pepperoni passion pizza', with extra cheese, obviously aaaaand... a side of nachos!". Quinn said as she threw the menus down, a smile creeping onto her face. "I wasn't entirely sure you would even ask me to come. The whole cold-hearted-assassin thing I have to keep up doesn't exactly scream that I am the type to attend sleepovers". Quinn even attended a tea party the other week. An odd one, sure, but a tea party nonetheless. Bet none of HIVE could see that coming.

"Well, will you take care of ordering the food then?". Quinn would say as she leaped up off of the couch, swiftly moving over to where she dropped her bag, now picking it up as she turned to glance back towards Nina. "...need to get out of this coat!". That's when Quinn didn't necessarily give Nina any choice in the matter. For Quinn departed the room for the bathroom in the apartment in order to change clothes.

Blake had recently let herself in upstairs. She knew Nina was expecting her so...what's the harm right? Right. Exactly. That guy knows what's up. Oh that's just Blake? Okay maybe there is something wrong with that. Regardless the feline assassin slowly lowered herself to sit next to Quinn in her new PJs. Just a normal black pajama shirt with purple bottoms with black skulls on them. If you get over how morbid Blake probably thought it was, its pretty cute honestly.

"Well I mean, I came didn't I?" She asked with a relatively nervous laugh before commencing the sniffing of the Doritos. "These smell so...artificial..." She said, picking one up and nibbling it. Then eating it. Then another. And another. Well now we have a cat addicted to Doritos kids.

Nina gave a cheery nod to Quinn "sure do whatever you need to do" she said as she then noticed Blake soon appear and chuckle as she soon began munching on the doritos "hey hey you'll ruin your appetite for the dinner" she said as she handed Blake the menus "pick what you want, I highlighted the foods with fish in them" she said calmly.

Only a few moments had passed, and Quinn returned. She was quick - though not as quick as how fast Blake appeared on the scene. Quinn returned in much more casual attire. Throwing her bag back down aimlessly on the floor, Quinn would retake her seat back on the couch beside the two HIVE ladies. "It's going to be fish, isn't it?".

Blake looked over the various pizza places and blushed at Quinn's comment. It totally wasn't going to be fish... "...Can I get one of those tiny pizzas with anchovies?" She said quietly, burying her face in the menu. OK, so it would be fish. But as far as Blake could tell humans didn't tend to like anchovies. So these must be there for the kitty pizzas. Of course.

Nina chuckled a little "sure you can Blake" she said as she picked up the phone and called the pizza place, telling them her order "eh sure yeah we'll have some fries too" she said as she put the phone down "should be about twenty minutes" she told her friends as she looked in the tv guide to see if there was anything decent on tv that night.

If Blake had ordered something that did not include fish, well then Quinn would have assumed there was something wrong with her. Fortunately though, Blake seemed perfectly well, phew. Quickly followed was Nina ordering the meals they had each selected. Twenty minutes? Hadn't Quinn seen that Pizza place across the street on the way in? Whatever. "So... what do you want to do now?". Watch a movie? Talk? Play a game? Come on hostess!

Blake wiggled her tail slightly and started eating doritos again. See what you've done Nina? Are you PROUD of what you've done? Well you should be, its kind of adorable. She looked up at the sound of doing something else and shrugged. "I read a book before I came that says we're supposed to...um...play with each others hair or something?" She blinked and looked between the two. "But that's probably a really bad idea with me here..."
