Portal Magic - Ingrid can create portals leading to any space as long as she has seen it or she has been there before. When first creating a portal, the entrance must always be facing her. There is no delay between entering and exiting one of her portals. Her portals are only one-way passages. Anything that has already completely passed through cannot go back the same way. Nothing can also enter from the openings that are designated as exits. She can create up to a hundred portals at once but with a total area of no more than 4 square meters. Portals remain open for at least 5 seconds before closing.

Personality: Elegant, classy and refined, Ingrid's general persona is that of your typical elite born into high society. Like most, this comes with a pinch of narcissism and sense of self-importance. Though she usually keeps her pride in check by putting on an image of humility, it's not that hard to see through her. Specifically, she often has this look of boredom and disinterest on her face as if trying to say that you aren't even worth her time. She has a habit of evaluating people based on how useful they are. Unexpectedly, she is quite a good listener and has a knack for reading between the lines. She is deviously intelligent and only lacks the drive to use it for grander designs.
She is a bit of a sore loser and while she admits defeat, you can expect anyone who wins against her won't walk away unscathed. She can turn into quite the sadist when punishing those who are unfortunate enough to incur her wrath. She dislikes pushy people especially those who claim that they are similar or that they understand her. History: Ingrid is the heir of the Lowen Clan, a powerful and influential family based in Europe that has ties with various industries and companies around the world. While they have successfully adjusted to the ways of modern society, the clan is first and foremost a magic clan with most of its members being witches and wizards. Knowledge of this fact is of course not entirely public. Growing up, Ingrid received only the best in education, both magical and otherwise. Which was a good thing, as her talents proved to be quite formidable. A treasure of high quality must be handled with care after all.
The young Ingrid was a lot more adventurous than the rather reserved persona she possessed as she grew older. While the family in general was thrilled to have a gifted heir, her father Vlad Lowen, the current clan head, was concerned that her pursuit of learning without restraint was dangerous. As an accomplished mage himself, he knew that magic was capable of great and terrible things. Perhaps he was the first to notice Ingrid's potential to fall to the darker side of magic. With this in mind, he personally took control of her training, exercising an iron fist and controlling her growth as much as he could. It somewhat worked but her tendency for disregarding morals to pursue new heights was far from completely curbed. Still, he did not give up.
Ingrid however was a smart girl. Over the years, it became more evident to her that her father's influence was deliberately imposing limits on her as opposed to just providing a firm guiding hand as she was first led to believe. When she eventually learned of his true intentions and apprehensions, her first reaction was to scoff. She felt somewhat betrayed that he didn't think as highly of her as the other members of the family. Like any rebellious teen, she had the utmost confidence that she had everything under control and the old man's worries were for naught. Thus began their strained relationship. She still respected him as the family head but she no longer trusted him in matters pertaining to her own advancements as witch.
On her 17th birthday, she challenged her father to a contest in magic under the pretense of proving she was the rightful heir to the position of clan head. If she failed, she would go on a self-exile to find herself. Talented as she was, it was a match she handily lost, but she already expected that outcome. In truth, she just wanted a reason to leave the family for a while as she was tired of all the controls and restraints placed upon her. Her father saw through this but surprisingly allowed her to go anyway, provided she followed a few special conditions. She grudgingly accepted, but not before making off with one of the family treasures and a platoon of family servants.
