| Greed was a little surprised. This didn't exactly seem like her type of place. Granted he knew barely anything about the girl, but he thought he'd gotten a good feel for character. She'd really rather interested him. Nobody had ever tried... offering stuff to him. The thought of taking something so easily just didn't sit right with him. He may have gotten the junk he was looking for, but he found something new he wanted...
...and he watched her walking through the dimly lit moonlight from a distance. He'd felt her approach a while ago, and parked his motorcycle at the park and waited. He felt uneasy. Normally he stalked treasure, not people. It was almost exciting if he was honest with himself.
He started to pull on his mask but hesitated. She wasn't wearing hers. He scowled a sec, letting the mask hang around his neck.
He moved quickly and quietly, hoping not to startle her. The trail was a little ways off, but he wasn't looking to get his butt kicked again. She was rather scary... intimidating may be the better word, he thought. And Greed was not easily intimidated.
His busy mind caused him to trip, stumbling onto the trail about 15 feet in front of the girl. He looked up at her with wide red eyes, seemingly glowing in the dark.
"Aa. Fancy seeing you here, love. I was just looking for you, actually. I'm not really settled with the way things ended with us last time at the junkyard, see. I thought, maybe... I should apologize?" He asked in a shakey, uncertain voice. He wasn't used to this. | |
