Picking on the shy guy (Foal, PM me if you want to join)

Kane noticed that the girl was staring at him to help her out, even though Kane was just as hopeless as diffusing these situations as she is being right now, so he just gave her a helpless look. Their only hope was that Drav might have not wanted to waste his money, but he just haaaaad to be a nice guy, how inconsiderate. Kane buried his face in his hands once Drav blabbed on about romance, because it was making his face so red that he couldn't hide it any other way, even though this made it obvious, but he still could not bring up the courage to say anything.

Jay watched as Kane buried his face further and further into his hand. Anymore of this and his hand and head will be forever stuck together... and it doesnt seem hes going to tell this guy im not the 'lucky girl' who he's been going for.
Jay sighed and finally loked over at Dra who was smiling like he had just done the nicest thing for his friend. Ooooh she hated having to spoil good moments for people.

"Hey uh.."Jay started hoping to put this the best way she could. "I'm sorry to tell you this but Im not the girl he's been trying to get with. I was just teasing him earlier. We only just ran into each other cuz his wallet got stolen by that-" she tjrned to point at the theif but saw he had already taken off, "for the love of fur and feathers!!!" She pinched the bridge of her nose and huffed, "I forgot to cuff the guy... gaaaah" she lightly knocked on the front of her skull with the side of her fist.
"Anyway,"she pointed at Kane, "just met him but im sure he would enjoy the dinner date with his actual girlfriend, assuming the uh, necklace, or whatever did work out and all that?" She said hoping to put things straight. She then glanced in all directions but the theif was gone. "Aaaaand that guy is gone." She silently cursed herself for being stupid.

Dravocn looked at the girl confusedly, interested in her words, then frowned and looked at Kane "Is this true?" he asked concerned "Why did you not say so?" he asked rhetorically with a happy smile "Oh well... seems I had set reservations for nothing.... pity... it would have been lovely to see people truly smile for a change in a long while." he said feeling slightly sad.. but you wouldn't be able to tell.... he seems to almost wear a smile on his face all the time. Dravocn looked to Jay and smiled as she felt stupid "I'll take care of it." he told her, he clicked a button on his watch.... he smiled again "The thief should be here shortly.... and with a friend." he said happily. 

He then looked to Kane, still curious as to the boy's inability to speak to him.... he'd been nothing but nice.... he didn't understand why the boy had such a problem... then again... he was socially inept... he had no concept of social issues... of any kind really.

He then looked at Jay again, she seemed pretty.... as well as nice.... and the boy did not like her? This was not the beauty the boy had set out to impress? Dravocn was entirely confused, but smiled all the while. He walked closer to the girl, slowly so as not to scare her off, his face was blank... not even a smile. He bent to look at her closer, looking deep into her eyes. "You know....." he said after a while of looking into her eyes "I do not think I had wasted reservations after all." he said, a soft smile on his face. He tilted his head and smiled happily "Would you like to accompany me to the restaurant?" he asked her, completely oblivious to the fact that he just asked a girl out... in all honesty he had no idea that taking people to dinner was considered a date... he just thought he was nice for doing so.

Jay finally spoke up to the guy, finally telling him how she was not the one he had asked out, Kane felt a weight being lifted off his chest, but at the same time he felt bad, like they had deceived Drav, even if it was just a misunderstanding. Kane noticed that the guy had gotten away, but he didn't particularly mind, he was just a wallet thief, not exactly the scourge of the world, he'd get caught sooner or later, unless he had been scared into changing his ways.

Dravocn asked him why he had not mentioned it earlier. Was he kidding? Kane was so shy about this kind of thing that he couldn't even say anything! He had to get some girl he had just met to say it for him! Dravocn then surprised Kane by asking the girl out, talk about taking advantage of a bad situation! Kane stared at him with a new perspective.

Jay looked at Dra with a confused look then glanced at Kane with a 'is he serious? I cant tell' kind of look. "Uh.. sure I guess...uhm cept, I kinda cant afford anything like that." Jay said, trying to explain she had no money to go enjoy a dinner date, as good as a nice dinner sounded. Since having to swipe your food all the time was a bit annoying. She wondered if this was a continuation of the joke and she was now the subject of it. Oh boy. This could be interesting...

Didnt this guy say that the robber guy was coming back with a friend? "So uh what friend is bringing back mr. Wallet snatcher?" Jay asked curiously.

Dravocn smiled as his offer was accepted "Lovely." he said happily. He checked his watch, and looked up at the two with a smile "Oh, the 'friend' should be here shortly." he told them "Don't be alarmed at the sight of the creature however," he started "he's very sensitive about his appearance and doesn't enjoy the idea of looking so different from everyone." he told them. He smiled at the two, Kane seemed to be confused and that made Drav curious in his own right "What is it?" he asked curiously and calmly.

Jay looked at Dra curiously then in the direction of where the theif had headed, then back. "Well, can't be that bad. This city is filled with all sorts of different peeps." She decided, fluffing her feathers in demonstration. She sighed to herself when she noticed that her explaination of not having any money for the date had seemed to be ignored or unheard.
"I wouldnt mind the date,"she repeated, "but I dont exactly have any money to pay for something like that. Not even a buck for a McDonalds meal or something." She explained, trying to be sure that he understood just how broke she was, of course, looking at her torn knee jeans and jacket that looked like it hadnt been replaced in a few years of hard wear and tear coulx have told almost any one that as well.

Dravocn smiled "That won't be a problem, I assure you." he told her happily. He pulled a wad of fresh cash out of his pocket, they were all hundreds "I'm sure I could pay for it." he said happily "I go there often after all... mostly by myself... it's rather dull and dreary... but it is nice that they'd let me in without reservations." he told her happily.

Kane could tell that he was not really wanted anymore, why would they want some awkward guy they had just met to stay with them when they were about to have dinner together. This was time to make his exit. He looked to the other two and smiled shyly at them I-I think- I think I'll give you two some... some privacy he then abruptly walked off, soon disappearing.

Jay looked at Dra and held her hands in front of her as he pulled out the money, "whoa whoa whoa whoa! I cant take your money! I appreciate the offer but-" she looked over as Kane said something about leaving and looked from him to Dra and back, "your just gonna leave me with the strange guy after I helped you get your wallet. Uh huh I see how it is. Your welcome bud!" She called after Kane as he walked off, crossing her arms. And now she was left with this other guy.... and his dinner date... and she had to figure out a way to get around using any of this guys money. She looked at Dra and sighed, "ok I guess its just you and me.... but im still not taking your money."

Dravocn smiled at Jay "This money is more for me than it is you.... after all... i wanted the have dinner with you... therefore i'm spending it on me." he told her with a happy smile. Dravocn then looked at Kane and frowned as he decided to leave, such a shy fellow.... Dravocn stopped Kane by grasping his shoulder "You aren't going anywhere, who said i wanted you to leave?" he asked with a smile "Please, stay and partake with us." he told him.

Kane hadn't meant to be mean, but he thought they didn't really want him there, but he was surprised to find that Dravocn didn't want him to leave so much that he physically grabbed him so he couldn't leave. Kane didn't feel comfortable being touched, so he tried to squirm out of his grip, but Dravocn had strong hands, Kane couldn't get out, much to his discomfort W-w-w-w-wh-w-why w-w-wou-wouuu-would y-y-y-y-yo-yo-you w-w-wa-wa-w-wan-wa-wan-want m-m-me t-t-t-t-to st-st-s-sta-st-s-st-stay...? his face was red as he tried to escape.

Jay smirked at Kane when he was cought and told he was invited to come along too. So this wasnt going to be as awkward as she thought, it wasnt a one on one date or anything.
"Well, Mr. London, looks like you get to hang around a bit longer after all." Jay said smiling then walking over between the two and putting an arm around both of there shoulders and began heading off in some direction, pausing after a few steps, "uh...... which way are we goin? Cuz, ... I honestly never walk anywhere... so kinda lost down here."

Dravocn smiled at Kane and nodded. He then pointed to uptown, where dinner was flat out expensive as all crud, he'd smile and look at them. "We should be having fun shouldn't we? Dinner doesn't sound like enough for fun." he said happily. Dravocn was still oblivious to the fact that he'd asked someone out, then bringing someone else as being rude... it completely empty in his mind

Kane would have laughed that Jay walked off in the wrong direction, but he was too busy being flustered because he was being grabbed. Most normal people wouldn't be comfortable with being grabbed like this, let alone a guy as awkward and shy as Kane. Dravocn pointed in the direction of all the super expensive restaurants! Kane widened his eyes in surprise, even for someone who owned a jewellery store, those shops would be way too expensive! This guy was either stupid or super rich!
