Strengths: Expert tactician, analytic mind, relatively apathetic [not prone to getting too excited or getting worked up], and level-headed.
Interests/Habits: Playing with her pet crow, and searching around to watch people's daily misfortunes.
⁞ PErSONAL BAcKGROUND ⁞ "Yoυ're тнe мoroɴ тнey вυιlт тo мαĸe мe αɴ ιdιoт! "Family Members/History: GLaDOS doesn't care. Or rather, she chooses not to actively remember her family. Her father was a scientist, and she was his magnum opus. Her mother was a frail old woman, who GLaDOS hardly bothers remembering due to the sickly woman's absence in her life. In moments of 'clarity' (when she's not seeking the misery of others) she even finds herself furious with the woman who was too weak to help her daughter. After her mother's death, she lost track of time, and soon enough found herself horribly disfigured by her father's experiments. Her left arm had been surgically removed and replaced, and it took nearly two years for the young GLaDOS to adjust. He hadn't stopped there. Her brain had been altered in ways that she did not understand, and suddenly the keen thoughts of a mathematician or a tactician flooded her not fully developed brain, causing a lasting trauma that drove her to madness. The joy of childhood had been quite literally surgically removed from her, and she quickly had to adapt. A few years later, when she was at her tipping point, GLaDOS lost herself in a fit of unbridled rage, and the nearby television's screen shattered, and out flew a tendril of wires that coiled around her father's throat, choking him to death. Fleeing, GLaDOS settled into a lifestyle of living on the streets for a short while before she found an abandoned warehouse, where she currently resides. The warehouse is full of all the electronic devices and machines that she's salvaged over the years.
Place of Origin: Suburbs outside of Jump City
Sample RP:
"For your own safety, do not destroy vit-al testi--ing apparatus." A pair of piercing yellow eyes -- which seemed to be more robotic than human -- pierced through the gloom of the dimly lit warehouse, locked on a plethora of mismatching monitors and tv screens. This was the same warehouse that held the 'testing chamber' that had been specially made to get a feel for the... limits, of the humans -- and soon enough, the metahumans -- in this city. Quickly the 'proctor' was losing patience with the non-compliant behavior of her current subject. It was quite difficult to get a base-line for humans to compare to metahumans if her participants wouldn't cooperate. GLaDOS watched with a bemused and irritated expression as the young man in the test chamber lashed out at one of the cameras, making it go fuzzy for a split second. Her stomach muscles tightened and her teeth clenched down on one another.
"To ensure the safe perf--ormance of all authorized activities, do not destr-oy vital test-ing ap--paratus." The cease and desist seemed to have little effect on the wily male. Instead he struck out at the camera again, this time seeming even more infuriated. GLaDOS couldn't fathom such emotion; was it really such a big deal? Her only request was that he jumped the gap placed before him. The spikes at the bottom were simply.. an incentive. The camera feed on the screen before her flickered again, more violently this time. Her patience was wearing thin with this foolishness. "This is you-ur last cha--nce. ..You don't even ca--are, do you..?"
Her high-spirited subject had the gall to look straight into the camera, shrieking obscenities at her. A small smirk found her lips."I don't see why you're raising such a fuss.. you have no one to go back to, remember? Your mother and fath-fa-father are dead, you have no companions... no one would miss you if I just..." Her iridescent eyes shifted to the screen that was aimed directly down into spike pit. Her smirk turned into a content smile as he punched the camera lens, and static hissed harshly from the monitor that the camera was attached to.
"This is your fau-ault. It didn't have to be like this."With a twitch of her head, the wall behind the male roared to life. Without hesitation, the wall rammed into her useless subject, and lobbed him into the spike pit. Her eyelids slid shut upon hearing a satisfying splat, accompanied by the crunching of broken bones. GLaDOS opened her eyes and basked in the glory of her deed, displayed clearly via the camera aimed down at the pit."Wheatley.." A dark feathered avian creature fluttered down from a perch above her head.
"Dinner time." GLaDOS rose from her chair and walked over to a metallic door to her left, which slid open to reveal the inside of the test chamber. The bird took from her shoulder into the chamber to feast.
Rolling her head, the white-haired female let out an amused laugh, the metallic flecks in her eyes glinting.

| Sorry, I said something in the cbox, but in case you never saw it, your technology powers need more definition, what counts as tech, how much she can move, how far. | |
