Winds of Change (All Leaving Titans please join)

Today was the day. The Titans time was up. Today they would be leaving the home they knew. Hotwire had just barely finished packing the T-Jet. So he had just spent the past 2 hours walking around the tower. Actually, it was just running his hand along everything. This was the last time they would be here. Their old home. It brought a tear to his, but then sucked it in.

He had to be strong. For the team. No second thoughts. No second guessing.

So with that he went back to the hanger and looked at the jet. It wasn't that lovely orange hotwire had loved. Now it was black. With a bit of dark blue etched in. Stealth. That's what his new paintjob was meant for. He sighed. At least they had a plan. Hotwire had a way to get them off the radar. They wouldn't go too far. But they would have to be careful.

Eventually the time ran up, so hotwire called over the intercom in a calm voice. "Hey guys. Come on down here. It's time"

Damian had been catching just a few minutes of sleep. He was plunged into a dream. The whole space he found himself in was dark, and he was alone. But then his team appeared. Kale, the mage, whose vigor and abilities he so admired. Haruhi, the catgirl, who had a beautiful singing voice and calm mind, Flux with her optimistic outlook and admirable resolve. And finally Hotwire, with his solid gold intellect and strong will for the team to survive, the perfect leader.

There was also Yang and Oculos. They'd sided with the government, turning on the Titans. They were kicking the real Titans into the ground, beating them senseless. But who was that dark figure? Damian couldn't see. He tried to get closer, to help his team. He was almost there. The dark figure looked up, this man who Damian wanted to kill.

Damian jolted awake. He was sweating, laying on the couch of the main ops room. He looked around, and saw no one. The place was fairly empty. After all, they were leaving today. Damian rubbed his eyes and pulled on a black leather coat, going down to the hangar. He looked about at the Tower's halls as he approached the elevator. He hadn't been here for as long as some of the team. But it was definitely his home. He'd miss it so much.

The only thing left was to leave it behind. To get into the T-Jet and take off. The only thing he couldn't shake was that dream. The figure he'd seen...was himself.

Kale stood with Flux, both were pretty chummy by now. He winked to Damian as he arrived, Kale's stuff had all been put into a magical pocket dimension so instead of carrying his bags, he had some of Flux's cargo in his grasp. He was also calmer than usual.

In situations like these humans were more reserved he noticed, so accordingly he would be quiet and still. Hotwire needed all of their support, although Kale already knew while physically he was lacking, their leader was mentally strong.

Flux blew out a breath all in one go (mostly outta habit, she didn't breathe anymore) and pulled her hands through her hair. She hadn't really slept the night before (powernaps don't really count - that's more like charging your phone to 20%) - she'd been working on the communicators.

By no means was she a technological genius, but five hours with a gps, a soldering kit, electronics for dummies, and a huge helping of bowel-knotting defiance had seen the Titans locators removed from the team's comm devices, and it had seen them reprogrammed to a new, encrypted frequency entirely. Easy? Easy like surgery. But still - she was thorough and meticulous. It was just part of who she was to be that way, and being a hero means you do what needed doing. Hotwire was busy, but she wasn't. Simple as that.

She handed out the communicators to them. Each was painted differently now. She was by no means an artist, but recoloring them wasn't hard. Haruhi's was green, Kale's was yellow, Red Dragon's was red of course, and Hotwire's was orange. Her own... Well, she only had one other color - blue.

"These are our new communicators. I got rid of the locators inside, changed the frequencies and encrypted them. You'll need to set the passwords on them to get them to work for you. I guess... I guess we're going to be stealthy now, so I prepared things a bit." she said, and rubbed her arm. She looked equal parts sheepish and defiant - just a bit of fear maybe, but as she looked up at Hotwire her jawline hardened and she smiled.

Hotwire picked up the communicator that Flux had designed for her. What took Flux a couple hours to understand, hotwire understood in half a second as his eyes shown a very soft light blue. They had a couple of programming bugs, but hotwire didn't want to make her feel bad. It was a bang up job for someone new to the world of engineering.

So he fixed the bug through his powers. "Wow. These are well made." He said clipping it to his belt. Kale and Damian were already there. He had let kale and his magic bottomless containment sack take care of a large amount of the packing. It was important to conserve packing space on the jet.

"We're leaving in 10 minutes. I have the launch sequence wired in to the last of the changes that should wipe our travel plans from the Hanger computers." He explained. "So if you don't have anything else to finish up, I'd suggest getting in the jet."

Damian stood in the Hangar as the other Titans entered. Hotwire was looking at the repainted T-Jet. It was black and blue; painted for stealth missions. Damian missed the old color. Even if this new one was practical. He sighed, turning around as the other Titans entered the room.

Flux had several modified T-comms in her hands. His was red, like he'd asked for. He opened up, wondering what kind of password he should have for his password. Something no one could know.

Damian put the communicator away, he'd figure it out later. Right now, he was getting his last look of the Tower's hangar. He hadn't spent much time in here, at least not as much as Hotwire; but even here, he was gripped by sadness that they were leaving this place behind.

Damian sighed, looking back to the T-Jet. "Alright then, Hotwire," he said, and got into his seat in the Jet.

Kale looked at the communicator and chewed on it a bit - well it was sturdy enough. At least it won't break on him too quick in the upcoming battles. Kale smiled and patted Flux on the shoulder to show his approval.

"You continue to amaze me with your brilliance." Kale hooked the communicator to his scarf and then loaded the last few items all in one go. Showing a feat of strength for the dragon boy, who was arguably more physically human than dragon, besides his powers.

Flux smiled at the boys and... turned, to look around. This place... this place had been home a little while. She hadn't even lived here long enough to make her room much more than homey, but it was her place, durnit. And now, she was losing it. Sometimes she hated her point of view. She hated having to go, having to become a criminal. Two of the titans called them traitors... but who was really the traitors here? Even now she wasn't certain. But she was darn certain that she wasn't going to be ANYONE'S puppet - and that included this Tiberius guy. Flux steeled herself, and climbed up the ladder into the T-Jet.

"Alright boys. Let's make like a tree and leaf." she called to the others, and started buckling up.

Hotwire sat in his head cockpit seat in the T-Jet. When he first rebuilt the head cockpit, it was with Yang in mind. But then that got dashed and he had to redesign it for himself. He looked over his high tech interface controls. There was a steering wheel there, but it was more for show. It didn't move and had two glowing grips for hotwire to hold while he controlled the guidance.

Once everyone was strapped in, he reached out and grabbed the wheel. His voice would sound in each chamber. "Hey guys. You know I'm... not the best at making grand speeches like this. But I want you all to know that what we're about to do is crazy. And there may be no going back. But you guys have supported me as your leader, and I'll do everything in my power to make sure we succeed." He said.

"So Titans... Let's Go." He said as his nanobots flared. The Jets engines flared, and the blast doors opened. The computers began to work as they went to erase all their hard drive information, with a few exceptions hotwire put in there out of safeties sake. One such was the information about the Zydon agent Vira, who was store in a stasis container in the tower. If someone wasn't careful, they might unleash her.

The jet began to rise from the ground, before shooting off across the water. The onboard monitors would show the tower behind them, slowly shrinking into the distance along with the rest of the mainland. Within 10 minutes they were over open ocean. "Now we are taking the sort of long way. It will take us a day or so to get where we're going by sub, but the roundabout way of getting to our destination will ensure we don't get tracked." he said as the dark blue engines spiraled back into the jet, and four similar looking sub rotors popped out as the T-Jet, no, T-Sub splashed down.

"No we can all sit back, relax, and enjoy the sea life on our way to our new home." He said as fish passed by in front of him. "Hope you guys brought some handheld video games or a pillow. It's going to be a long one."
