All summons last but for 5 to 30 minutes depending on what was summoned. Small things like bats, spiders, etc take only a moment as if he were snapping his fingers and a portal would appear as they enter from a different plane of exist. Summoning bigger things to fight for him requires him to use a more energy and time to open a portal

Can summons Bats (to spy or send messages)
Bats that are normally used to watching people or send messages to  other summoners
They can be summoned for a length of 2 days and are very fast during the night and sleep during day travels

Can summons Spiders (to spy or send messages)
summons black widows to watch and spy on people. He Is able to see what they see and hear what they hear as if in the room with them. Spiders are connected to him so they drain him of energy depending on the number but for the most part are a small summon that can last for a full day

Can sense darkness and light energy within people being able to tell when there lying or telling the truth, A very helpful tool to him on his mystery chasing

History:  Veniouse remember nothing of his past as he woke up in a church in the basement chain to the fall. The priest there had locked him up because he had fallen on to the building and when they went up to the roof to get him he had black feathered wings, since escaping the church having broken out of his chains and killing everyone he has been on the move doing side jobs as a hunter for criminals and a private eye for finding out sercets.as of recent he is on the run from a cult called “The Order” who wish to find all demons and angels that don’t belong in this world and destroy them .

The hell hounds and Angels are bigger deals however and need to be explained who, what, when, where why, how? And most of all what their abilities are stat wise. And again HOW does this occur?

thats actually a good question i need to say that in his true form this is no limit and how often he uses his true form. most of his summon will be creature that exist already in the world or in a different plane
