===POWERS===
Powers:Divine Intervention- Smith has no powers, but he can channel divine power to perform miracles. The miracles are powerful, so Smith may only perform one per thread, or per day, whichever happens first. The following list shows miracles that he might choose from.
-Shield of Faith- A shield of white, transparent light instantly appears at Smith's command. This shield will block attack, be it physical, magic, elemental, or cosmic in nature. It only lasts for one minute, or until Smith dismisses it. Once placed, the Shield of Faith cannot be moved, not even by Smith. Smith needs to be able to react to put up the shield. The shield can appear anywhere Smith can see, at any angle, and in any dimensions up to 50x50 feet.
-Divine Judgment- Applies holy light to a melee weapon or a single bullet in a gun. The holy light will only affect undead, demons, vampires, zombies, or shadow/darkness based. The weapon will ignore any enhanced durability on these affected targets, and will give them third degree burns. Any wounds caused by a weapon with Divine Judgement on it will not heal at all for 24 hours, even if the affected creature has a healing factor. Divine Judgement can stay on a weapon for 1 minute, but will disappear as soon as it strikes its intended target.
-Heavenly Favor- When Smith encounters an event that includes chance; he can use Heavenly Favor to obtain the most favorable result possible. Sadly, this does not seem to apply to the lottery. Heavenly Favor can also be activated without Smith’s knowledge. If someone flips a coin to determine whether they want to kill Smith or not, the result would be to leave him alone.
-Healing Hands- Smith can touch someone and instantly heal them of all recent injuries. Alternatively, he can heal them of one ailment, an old injury, or even a disability.
-Wings of Light- Wings made of light appear on Smith’s back, allowing him to fly at up to 100 miles per hour. The wings last for 1 minute.
-Brilliant Restoration- Upon touching a target, Smith can cause a bright flash of light to occur. If the target is under any sort of mind control or manipulation, they will be freed, and have their free-will returned to them. The target also becomes immune to all kinds of mind-control or similar manipulation abilities for an hour.
Police Equipment- Smith has access to special equipment, not usually available to civilians. See equipment for more details.
Skills: -Truth teller- He can tell if someone is lying or telling the truth, unless they have specific training to counter this or have powers to counter it.
-Martial Arts Training- He is skilled in martial arts, enough to beat up people who do not have such a skill with ease. Martial Arts Masters, however, will be able to do the same to him.
-Marksmanship- Trained in using conventional guns. He is no sniper, but he won’t miss a shot without good reason.
Weaknesses:Human- He can be hurt by anything that would hurt a normal human. His armor provides no protection from elements or from magic.
Equipment:-SWAT Kevlar vest with ceramic armor- Bulletproof armor and helmet that also protect very well against physical attacks from normal humans. Anyone with enhanced strength, however, will be able to break through it with ease. Bullets will still sting him, so he won’t be walking through a storm of gunfire.
-Motorcycle- Issued to him for patrol. In Jump City, there has been need for a faster, more mobile police presence. In the rise of a new generation of meta-criminals, he was one of the first officers to receive a motorcycle.
-Pistol- Can be loaded with either lethal or non-lethal rounds. Not a very powerful gun, especially in a city with such a large meta-human population, but the Jump City police are hesitant to put machine guns in the hands of new officers.
-Flashlight- Good for all those night threads.
-Handcuffs- Once put on somebody, they can’t be taken off without the key, super strength, noted lock-picking skills, or some other power.
===PSYCHOLOGICAL PROFILE===

===PERSONAL BACKGROUND===
Family Members: John and Madison Smith (Parents)
Place of Origin: Jump City
Current City: Jump City
History:Lock Smith grew up in Jump City, and became used to seeing meta-humans from an early age. In school, he was labeled as a “goody two-shoes” kind of kid, and was frequently bullied for it. The teachers of the school were sadly less-than-helpful at ending this unfair treatment. One day, Lock fought back against a bully, beating them up. He ended up getting in trouble, but refused to admit to any wrongdoing. That day, he decided he would become a person of authority, so that he would have the power to stop oppression in every form.
Lock had few friends in school, but no real close friends. He was seen by most as either arrogant or overly violent (for the time he beat up a bully). Most of his time he spent alone, and found himself usually bored. However, when new meta-humans began appearing in Jump City, Lock grew excited. He had always been fascinated by super powers. Crime once again started to rise in Jump City, so he applied to a police academy. Soon, he was hired as an officer tasked with responding quickly to meta-human situations.
