Powers:Sound Conversion: Ability to transduce sonic vibrations, which reach his body into various types of light.For example, a car crash and a symphonic passage of equal duration will both produce usable music incoming acoustic vibrations.  However, he cannot use any sound produced by his own body.

Sound Release: Ability to release the absorbed sound in one burst.

Light Projection: Flashbang possesses a body-wide energy field that controls the energy levels of the outer electron shells of his body in such a way as to cause the cascaded release of photons. In effect, this is an aura. The released energy is far greater than the incoming kinetic energy and therefore must involve an outside energy source, sound. Somewhat uncontrolled, if left undirected, Flashbang’s light will radiate from his body in all directions, producing regular flashes of white light (white light is a mixture of all portions of the visible spectrum). By conscious control over the light he produces, he can control its direction, frequency (color), amplitude (intensity), and duration. This is his aura. This is not protect him from any physical damage. His control is not well enough to do that. But its defensive capabilities come from forcing eyes to adjust to brightness if it is up.

Photon Blasts: Ferguson can transduce sonic vibrations into "solid photon" concussive force beams.His basic beam, about the diameter of a fist at a distance of 40 feet has a force of about 100 pounds per square inch. It is the same as being punched by an average man.
His broadest beam, about 90 feet across at a distance of fifty feet, has a force of about 50 pounds per square inch. This is like getting shoved hard to the ground.
His most powerful blast is a beam four feet across which, at a distance of 50 feet, has a force of 2500 pounds per square inch. The most powerful blast, he can only do once a day because it exhausts him so much even to the point of him not being able to use any more photon blast for at least 30 minutes. The closest damage would be getting tackled by an NFL linebacker at full speed.

Light Immunity: His body, especially his eyes, shields itself against any injurious effects of his light transducing abilities, and against those of bright lights in general

Sound Immunity: His ability to transduce sound also protects him from being deafened by loud noises

Skills: Trained in crossfit for many many years, he has very good endurance and durability. Learned how to cheat while gambling.

Weaknesses: Not a great hand to hand fighter, he can pass in a fight against untrained people but against anyone with training, he will tuck tail and bail. Also, cannot create his own sound to power his light powers.

Interests/Habits: Gambling is his biggest vice. He will gamble on anything.




Family Members: He is an only child. His parents were professors at the University of Georgia but since his debt spiraled out of control, he has no contact.
Place of Origin: He was born in Aberdeen Scotland, but his parents moved to Athens, GA at the age of 5.
History:After moving to USA, he was stuck in a Christian private school until he was 18. While socially repressed by the strictness of the private school, he excelled at cross country running and wrestling. He won state titles and competed in nationals. His athletic accomplishments earned him a scholarship to UNLV. As soon as he got to Vegas, he went wild. Gambling, whoring and drinking like Charlie Sheen. By the time he was 21, he had amassed a ton of debt with the mob and had started working for them on the side to pay off the debt. But one night on guard duty at a chemical plant, there was an explosion and he was the only survivor but he felt different. He was literally glowing. Freaking out, he escaped the hospital and disappeared into the night. After 7 years, he finally started to get a basic control of his powers. Now he was out to get what he wanted. Tired of living in his car, he looks to get by any way possible.

The two cubes rolled in the palm of a man's hand. The sounds of a casino filled the air. Liam focused on the task at hand. He had been at the craps table for an hour. Lady luck had been in his favor. One more good roll could end his debt with the mafia. Cupping his hands, he shook the dice while praying to his god before blowing on to them. With his eyes closed and a flick of his wrist, Liam left the fate of his financial future to fortune. *clik clik clik* The dice rolled across the green velvet and hit the wooden wall of the table and bounced off.

Liam slowly opened his eyes to see that fate had failed to get him out of the hole. He then felt someone tapping him on his shoulder. The rough looking man turned to see a large security guard behind him. The jig was up. The men who he owed a lot of money to had found him. "Come with us, Liam. The boss needs to have a word." Even at 6'1", Liam was dwarfed by the extremely large guard.

The cornered man backed up until his back was against the table. "Whoa now lad. We don't needa fight." He said trying to stall for time. His distinct Scottish accent was a change of pace around all the Americans in the casino. Liam knew that talking wasn't going to work, but he had a plan. The cornered man grabbed a handful of gambling chips and threw them in the face of the guard and bolted towards the door. Two more guards attempted to block the door. Liam knew he would have to use his powers to escape. Good thing Vegas was full of bright lights.

As he got closer, he stuck his hand out towards the guards. Suddenly 5 sudden flashes of light went off, temporarily blinding the guards as Liam bullrushed past them and out of the casino door. Within minutes, the Scottish man was at his car and driving out of Vegas. He could no longer stay in that town. "Jump City seems like a place to make some quick cash."
