"Watch this, Watch this!..." *Fails* "Ohhh my Goooood!!" *Crashes*...

Bioshock

Normal Chuck:

Fighting/Transformed Chuck:

===IDENTITY===

Full Name:  Chuck Jones
Nickname(s):  Yolo
Codename: Bioshock
Alias(es): Riptide
Age: 15
Classification: Metahuman
Affiliation: Chaotic Good

===PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION===

Hair Color: Black/Brown
Eye Color: Green/Blue
Gender Male
Height: 5'10", 6'1"
Weight: 168, 178
Other Traits:

Normal wear is a T-shirt with a green plus sign and jeans for skating. His new costume is a reverse color skeleton costume that comes in several pieces so it doesn't awkwardly rip and that has a mouth can open and close. On top of that he wears a white jacket from his friend with a DNA logo on the back.

===POWERS===

Powers:

Altered Stem Cells

Range of his ability:

Immune System: He is able to manipulate his immune system to such a degree that he can heal and alter his cells to regenerate and stay alive from most fatal damage and heal other organisms both human and non-human in the same way. Gaining immunity to poison, infection, or psychological trauma is almost instant, recovering from head trauma, basic bone fractures, and flesh wounds would take 1 post, internal bleeding or shattered bone and extreme non-fatal damage would be 2 posts, and fatal injuries would take 4.

Adam Cells (Subpower): Adam cells are the stem cells that Bio uses to heal others. The more he consciously connects with using the power at a whim, the more specific feats he can perform. At its full potential, he can overgrow human tissue into armor, weapons, and extensions on his body or on others. All of his weapons are simple weapons like bone clubs and blades on his arms, with the exception of the Biogun. In combat, if he pierces the bad guy's skin, he can quickly transfuse adam cells into their body and overgrow tissue inside of them in the same manner as he heals. This only works if they are weakened. Due to genetic defense mechanisms against overgrowth, he can only overgrow small amounts of nervous and/or bone tissue into their system. The bone will cause internal physical pain and the nervous tissue can uncomfortably enhance their emotions. A person with great willpower and training can fight through it but most can not.

Human alteration: Bioshock can upgrade his natural physical capabilities with bodily modification and can upgrade strength, hearing, vision, vibrational sensation, and endurance, turning him from a lanky kid to a strong older form of his body. He can alter his brain chemistry and tissue to increase mental capacity as well as muscle memory.

Human shapeshifting (Subpower): An offshoot application of this power is to access the same bio-engineering to copy the current potential fitness, reflexes and appearance (not sex) of the person in question. He can not, however, acquire their experience, techniques, powers, or knowledge since the body is only a normal human copy of their body. When fighting, he makes an educated guess on their movement and reacts but that has its limitations.

Anti-body mist: This is a mist that Bioshock can breathe or fire from his guns to exhaust enemies or heal good guys for a post. He can only use it in large quantities once every three posts. Because it's a weaker, less concentrated version of Adam Cell healing from direct contact it can only heal in bursts (The first use would stabilize and give the patients energy, the second would actually start healing their wounds).

Skills:

Gamer (Was a hardcore gamer when he was younger)

Highly Adept Freestyle skating

Highly Adept Sprinting (19 mph)

Speed skating (26 mph skate-sprinting, 22 mph)

Medium level powerlifter (Can throw people around in his adult form)

Beginner acrobat (Can do flips, a few somersaults, and parkour)

Good aim

Edge style - This fighting style was created to minimize the chances of getting shot by criminals. It combines Bio's talents and mixes in keysi moves to help him fight as a skater. He uses his human shapeshifting power to match the reflexes of opponents he can see to help him dodge the aim. The more trained the opponent, the more probable it is of him getting shot.

High pain threshold

Weaknesses:

1) If someone collects his blood or a sufficient DNA, with the right tinkering and an injection they can gain temporary powers similar to his own.

2) Prolonged energy blasts or extreme temperatures.

3) Asphyxiation

5) Massive caloric demands. Has to take food breaks in between fights.

6) Too much blood drained over time and kept out of his body will drain his power and eventually kill him.

7) Magic

Equipment:
Smart Phone

Backpack

Black arm and leg bracers

The Biogun:

===PSYCHOLOGICAL PROFILE===

Personality: Bioshock is a kid at heart. He loves playing intense fighting games and extreme skating. After drinking the waters of the Fountain of Youth, he gained vitality and well-being beyond what any human can achieve. The more he tapped into his power the more his courage and restlessness grew. Although brave he's self-centered, seeing life as a game. His goals are near sociopathic, defending good and innocents because people and the world if fun to him. Because he can defy death, it's hard for him to mourn the death of others or even his loved ones in danger. This doesn't mean he can't feel emotional pain, it just takes a great deal more. For a trade of humility and sympathy, Bio received a big ego and a calmer 'big picture' outlook on life when it comes to right and wrong.

Strengths:
-Getting 'mossed'
-Calm and level-headed almost to a fault
-Outgoing and easy to get along with
-Decent tactician
- Good fighter when the time calls for it

Interests/Habits:
-Has his own mix of jams on headphones when he feels like it.
-Skating
-Pushing his limits
-Making money
-Reading books and creepypastas
-A general daredevil who often bites off more than he can chew with terrible consequences.
-Gamer

===PERSONAL BACKGROUND===

Family Members:
Allison Jones: Chuck's little sister. She is a thin 13 year old tall girl with light brown wavy hair pulled into a pony tail. She has a diary and loves animals, with the family pet dog, Cassie, being mostly her doing. Before they weren't going to get a pet but she was able to persuade them to get one. She and her mother divide the housework at home. She is a normal happy and content kid but usually gets picked on at school for being so happy and normal.

Stephanie Jones: The mother of the family. The weeks without hearing from her husband has taken a toll on her, but she manages to keep the day to day life of the household going. She owns a small business that she runs from home and is usually very busy, only having time to do some of the housework and cook meals. She entrusts Allison and Chuck to be responsible and stay at school.

Mark Jones: Father of the family and archaeologist/explorer leader of Earthscape Incorporated. Before he went missing he was also quite busy but was still able to have wonderful time with his family when he was off from work. His company spans the globe and is very influential, unbeknownst to the rest of the family. He is often recruited by various governments for his skills in top secret exploratory underground, deep sea, and deep space missions. Few humans know as many secrets of the world and others as Mark does.

Place of Origin: Atlanta, Georgia

History: Chuck was born into a family filled with secrets mostly from his father’s side. His father was an archaeologist and part time explorer who had recently found various ruins off the coast of Alaska. He finally stumbled across the legendary fountain of youth. Although it was the climax of his adventurous life it was also his downfall. A great battle between him and his rivals took his life. He blew up the fountain of youth to increase the remnants value on the market and sent the only remaining sample to his son, intentionally writing it off as a light-hearted joke so Chuck would never suspect it. Chuck, however, decided to drink it anyway. Charles learned of his powers after saving his pet dog from disease with only a touch.

Since then, Chuck has learned that his father wasn't the kind of man he thought he was. He defeated a gang of bloodthirsty vigilantes who killed many, including his friend Tap Master Stallion. His sister was also caught up in the showdown in a warehouse party and now knows about Chuck's power. Chuck received the truth from Tap Master but only left him with more questions as to where he should take his newly assumed career of being a crime fighter.

He spends his time skating for fun, but is also known as the skating crime-fighter of Jump City as well.

Sample rp:

Early Post:
Chuck was munching on cereal with his sister while his mom was getting to go to work. The TV channel switched from regular programming to a 'breaking news announcement', only for it to be switched by the annual self-promotion of the Teen Titans. His sister ignored it and continued texting her friends. Chuck actually stopped and folded his hands grinning, amused at the call for heroes. It seemed like the moment it was found possible to gain super powers, the demand was always there. It was too bad it was being so commercialized. Superheroes should be protective guardians not any side-street bozo with a mutation.

Chuck didn't even realize the irony of his own thought process. It was time to call his boys up for a fun weekend with his own super powers. Reaching into his pocket he pulled out his galaxy mini-pc phone and dialed the private number. Mecha wasn't picking up. He probably was too busy in the nerdzone to call. Oh well. He then called up Chad.

"Hey man I'm heading over to the HQ now. Got a feelin it'll be a good day. See you there'

With that he grabbed his skateboard and rolled off. His sister called behind him.

"Hey! Aren't you ever going to stay home on the weekends for once?!"

Chuck turned around and snorted.

"Yeah sure, like you do..."

He tried to get out of the house as quick as possible because he knew his sister liked to nag him and if she followed or gained too much interest in why he went out so much, she would be clever enough to follow him. Maybe he should arrange a fake girlfriend as an alibi...

He took off down the street, using his power to increase his leg strength to rival Usain Bolt mixed with the endurance of a pro marathon runner. No one in their high-tech world of self pleasure and convenience would notice these strangeties on the road. After a few turns he was skating on the highway towards the south sector of Atlanta, destination Kelly Tech Tower. The horizon of the ten million plus city gleamed a beautiful yellow as the sun rose past its metal spires.

Traffic was slow and heavy as usual but he could reach speeds on his skateboard to handle even the faster days. His friend Chad used his own powers on his skateboard as well though a bit differently. Just as he thought about him he saw Chad in front of him gliding on his own skateboard.

"Yooooo...."

For his healing I'll need to know how quickly you can heal something, also what distance can he heal others from.

Talents aren't a biological function they are something that is trained into you. For instance being skilled with guitar isn't something you're born with.

Your blood alteration doesn't make sense, if he gives someone his powers how would a superhuman be impacted?

Also don't include description of your powers that your character isn't capable of. IE causing diseases, manipulating pheremones or increasing maturity. These would be subpowers. All of them are currently taken up by the other abilites.

The ability of the biogun mentions "Create any effect Bio programs them to have" what limitations does this have, because at this point it seems like a form of character control.

Peak human ability is a power.

I don't see anything about seperate forms in his powers, it looks like you can just change your shape not that it grants you other powers. Changing out your physical form will not get you out of weaknesses.

Also I'm not seeing anything about enhanced toughness so you should have all the normal weaknesses of a human outside ability to regenerate.

The armored suit, what level of protection does it offer, and what is the most powerful kind of gun it protects from?

Being 15 how does he make money, Jump City is in the US where it isn't legal to work that young.

Who is Nick Jones?

Also who is this Leo in the history?

Yeah, this is from another RP which was pretty lax so I expected I'd have to change quite a bit.

First off, those talents were something that he was working on before he became a crimefighter and his  enhancements amplified those skills.

He needs to be touching them in order to heal. The regeneration itself is slower in the sense that he can't spawn a new arm, it's more of a 'He can survive things beyond the limits of what most animals can survive from'. The ultimate mammal extremophile in essence. So for healing, it depends on what kind of injury is there. So gaining immunity to poison or virus is almost instant, recovering from head trauma, basic bone fractures, and flesh wounds would take 5 minutes (around 1 post), internal bleeding or shattered bone and extreme non-fatal damage would be 2 posts, and fatal injuries would take 4. Also the effects of that damage would be the same for a normal human outside of the fact that he can avoid death.

I will get rid of those extra abilities. I copied them from a marvel wiki to find something to explain what kind of power I had to the mod of the other game...

'Peak' human ability was based off of the fact that he can push himself to the limits of his body using his power and bring himself to his 'peak' possible fitness within seconds regardless of other factors. It doesn't mean he's Batman or Captain America or anything like that.

As for the shapeshifting, the idea was that he can look at athletes and copy their appearance and body structure for comparable feats. Maybe this should be a sub power but the point is he can alter his athleticism to some degree by watching the feats of others.

You are correct on durability.

Basic armor he made from materials he found at a junkyard. I'm getting rid of this soon. At best it can take pistol rounds but I gave this to him to make up for his inexperience in fighting (he's Kick-ass level).

As for the Biogun, it's basically a ranged version of his immune system and blood transfusion ability. The immune system ability triggers other people's immune systems and allows them to heal or cure in the same way he does. It's offensive move is to do the opposite and 'shock' their immune systems. This makes them more disoriented and weak over time. That's what I meant by program the bullets to do what he wants. The subdue superhumans is an old thing that I forgot to change. The idea is that he can temporarily subdue any genetically based powers of superhumans by triggering their immune systems to go into an auto-immunity mode and reject it.

Making money is one of Chuck's interest but not his hobby.

'Nick Jones' is a typo.

Leo is a character from the previous RP

Sorry about all of the confusion.
