Shaking the Titans (Titans Go!)

Ravian sat in the main room, simply watching TV. He hadn't been doing much for the past hour or two, taking a rest from the constant trouble of Jump City AND an invasion. Of course, there was no real rest for any hero. This became obvious as the entire tower suddenly shook as a large shadow passed by the window.

Ravian immediately ran out the door to find two braves and a thin girl with two large needles extending from her arms stepping out of a drop ship. She smiled down at the lone titan as the braves opened fire and she leaped into the air. He began to attack her but was quickly distracted as she landed, stabbing her needles into the ground, intending to do damage to the very foundation of Titan's tower, of course, that wasn't limited to the literal foundation. It also worked figuratively, injuring even a single Titan seriously would be seen as a victory in this case.

"The tower is under attack." she stated with a giggle and a cruel smile as the ground began to shake. Ravian lifted off the ground to avoid it but was too busy defending himself from the two braves to do anything of consequence to Quake. She was almost having a free time "Titans! Help!" he cried out.

"Way ahead of you Lux!" Hotwire said running out of the tower. Now hotwire was a special case you see. The zydon had use for him, and so orders had ciculated the zydon ranks to keep him alive. He was a sleeper cell. A useful asset. Not to mention he helped keep the supervillains down, which only helped the zydons invade. "Just leave the girl to me. She's using tech. I can disable her."

His sensors had detected the drop ship too little too late. Their cloaking was getting better it seemed. He began trying to scan this girls technology, only to be knocked back. "No no no. That's not allowed" Quake said coldly. She knew hotwire could shut her down, but she had a backup. A small device on her gave her a link to the coded virus the zydon had injected into hotwire. As hotwire stood up and tried to focus, instead of the in depth focus of every part... static. There was an outline of the devices on her arms... but static.

"No way." He mumbled before getting blown back towards the tower by another tremor.

Ravian kept himself busy by keeping the braves at bay for the moment. He had already been able to damage one of the jetpacks and was working on grounding the other one. Their armor was tough though and was pretty good at resisting his bolts. He would have to slice through if he got the chance. "Maybe we should switch Hotwire?" he said as nothing happened to the attacking girl.

Meanwhile Quake, quite literally, danced out of the way of Kale's beam. She took her needles out of the ground and left the area off effect with long leaps and bounds. She then bolted towards the dragon boy and struck down in front of his feet, sending out a shockwave to sent him flying back and away from the ship. She didn't need another one of those beams after all.

"Sounds good." Hotwire said shaking off the slight headache. Now to take on those zydon braves. With another wave of his arm, some of the plating came off. Then a few energy bolts shot out from a turret above the door. Good old Titan Tower defenses. Always useful.

"And the coup de grace." He said dashing forward. The plates rushed towards him and formed to energized mallets, which he swung at braves. It connected with the first one's face, but the second dodged, grabbed hotwire by the arm, and hoisted him into the air. He began to squeeze his hand. Hotwire let out a cry of pain, too strained to focus on any useful tech that could help.

((On the ground Jak, but I'll take it as him being knocked down the rocky shore if you don't mind.))

The situation was a bit dangerous. The multiple enemies would become a problem quick. She was made to solve problems though. She could handle this for just a bit longer, even if she couldn't bring the tower down, she made them feel unsafe, that would work well enough for now. She would simply need to take a victory somewhere else.

First she had to do more damage though.

As Ravian switched over to her, firing his kinetic beams and Kale attacked, she danced over to Hotwire and the two braves. She grabbed one of them, his plating was compromised and his jetpack was broken. He was useless and a liability. She turned him into an asset by using him as a shield. She was pushed back with a large cloud of dust but was not injured.

She walked out of the smoke, stepping over her former ally's body as he bled onto the ground, electrocuted and partially crushed at the shoulder. "Impressive." she said with a smile, unphased by his death. The same could not be said for Ravian who was not only surprised but confused. While distracted he lowered himself just a bit too much. Quake reached back, extending a needle into the Brave's body and heaving the heavy being at Ravian. It barreled into him, knocking him to the ground completely and leaving him dazed with a heavy body on him.

She then went for Kale, leaving the brave to finish Hotwire off, if it could manage. She leapt over to him in a perfect Grand Jete and stabbed her hands down at the ground as she finished, doing a front flip and stabbing at him with a missile like kick.

"Ow.Ow.Ow.Ow.Ow.Ow.Ow." Hotwire yelled trying to contain himself. The brave threw him to the ground, powered his laser canon and prepared to fire. Hotwire was pretty much done for... a laser shot rang out... well that was the end of that.

Or it would be if he weren't manipulating the canon from the fallen brave behind him. The remaining brave dropped to it's knees, it's head basically fried from it's own fallen allies technology. Ouch. At least those two suits would be useful in further developing further Zydon countermeasures. Most of the tech from ground zero had been confiscated by the government. All the titans had to work with was some tech salvaged from that drop ship landing site, and what was now in these suits. Hotwire struggled to stand. He was in some serious pain.

Second Brave was down. Quake couldn't believe how easily they fell to these Titans. She would bring elects next time. If they didn't fare better, she would probably just start bringing more, maybe she could get some higher ranks to come with her. Maybe they would stand a chance.

Quake's line of thought was interrupted as she was repeatedly pelted with stones. She was blown back and through the air, trying to shield herself from the onslaught. She dropped out of it after a few dozen feet, landing with grace and shaking the ground as her needles shot into the ground to keep any more from hitting her.

"The Zydon are foolish scum." She stood straighter, raising up onto her tip toes, on point, "And most humans are no better, but they're less honest about it. They'll say you have a future but let go of you in second. All the matters to me," she moved through the basic five positions of ballet quickly, "Is my dancing. Now. Lets see how much your team mates matter to you, shall we?" she then leapt with spin and upon landing bolted towards Hotwire taking wide jumps from side to side but still moving with strength, grace and precision. On her last step she spun, pirouette, and stabbed outwards at Hotwire's chest with a needle. It wouldn't be deadly, she wasn't willing to get in that much trouble(though she was tempted)...but it would hurt like...well, a pole wedged between your ribs.

"So your going with what you see as the lesser of two evils?" Hotwire said finally getting to his feet. She must have taken offense to that, because the next thing Hotwire knew, she lunged at him with her needle arms. Hotwire tried to move to the side, but was too slow. The needle hit him right in the shoulder. It absolutely pinned him to the wall.

Now if that wasn't painful enough, what followed would be torture. She began to shake. His whole body began oscillating at a very harmful frequency. His vision began to go blurry as his mind slipped into unconsciousness.

Quake honestly hadn't expected such a worthwhile attack to come out of the berserker like titan. He really did have some power, but the physical nature of the attack allowed her to withstand it with minimal hardship! Hotwire was out of commission and him waking up could probably be dealt with rather easily as long as he didn't have anything hidden in the tower.....which he probably did. There was also the danger of Ravian, she didn't have much range and he could wake up at any moment. She would have to retreat soon.

"Angry, I see. You care for your allies this much? I can't wait till I have a chance to kill them and watch you struggle to save them." she said, her voice strained and half choked by Kale's attack. She was in a bit of a bind, even if she had survived the attack. she was stuck, arms pinned down...but that wasn't a particularly horrible sentence.

With a slight tilt of her hand she grew out one of the needles, stabbing it into Kale's thigh and shaking it with hopes he'd retreat.

Hotwires body dropped to the ground, slightly bleeding from the shoulder wound. Man... he had been badly hit in the shoulder, hand, and arm in the past week. He was unresponsive, but alive. He'd need some medical attention, but assuming they drove this girl off right quick, the titans medical center would be good.
